To protect against a risk of fire or electric shock, basic precautions shall be taken while using electrical appliances, including the following:

1. Make sure the voltage in your outlet corresponds to the voltage provided on the appliance label and that the socket is correctly grounded. The outlet must be installed in accordance with applicable electrical codes according to EN.
2. Do not operate the heat convector without the base properly attached.
3. Do not operate the device if the cord is damaged. All repairs, including cord replacements, must be carried out at a professional service centre! Do not remove the protective covers from the appliance; there is a risk of electric shock!
4. Protect the device from direct contact with water and other liquids in order to prevent injury from electrical shock.
5. Do not use the convector outside or in wet environment and do not touch the power cable or the device with wet hands. Risk of electric shock.
6. Be cautious when using the convector near children!
7. Make sure the convector is placed on a flat surface.

8. Do not use the convector close to flammable objects or underneath them, e.g. curtains. The temperature of the surfaces near the convector (0,9 m) may be higher than usual while it is in operation. Place the convector to ensure sufficient air circulation.

9. Do not place the convector on a high pile carpet.

10. Do not place the convector in front of or directly under an electric socket.

11. Do not cover the heat convector! In case of covering it there is a risk of overheating and fire.

12. The convector must not be connected to the electrical outlet via a timer or connected to a remote switching power circuit, as in the case of remote switching on of the covered or incorrectly placed convector there is a risk of fire.

13. Do not use the convector close to a bathtub, shower or a pool and do not place in locations where is a danger of it falling into a bathtub or another container with water!

14. If the device emits an abnormal smell or smoke, immediately unplug it and have it checked by a service centre.

15. Do not switch off the device by pulling on the power cord. Always turn off the main switch of the convector first!

16. Always unplug the convector when moving it to another location.

17. Do not leave a convector with inserted power cord unsupervised. Disconnect the cord from the electrical outlet prior to any maintenance. Do not unplug the device by pulling the power cord. Unplug the power cord from the outlet by grasping the plug.

18. Do not allow the power cord to touch hot surfaces or run the cord over sharp edges.

19. Do not use the convector in places where flammable materials are stored (paint, gasoline, solvent etc.) or where there is a risk of flammable fumes appearing.

20. Do not put your fingers or other objects into the openings of the heat convector.

21. Do not cover the output vents by e.g. a towel or dry any laundry on it.

22. Use the convector only according to the instructions provided in this manual. The manufacturer is not liable for damages caused by the improper use.

23. This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and older and people with lower physical or mental abilities or lack of experience and knowledge, if they are supervised or have been instructed to use the product in a safe manner and understand the potential dangers. Children must not play with the appliance. User cleaning and maintenance must not be performed by unsupervised children. Children under 8 years old must keep away from the appliance and its power supply.

24. Children under 3 years of age may not be near the device unless constantly supervised.

25. Children aged 3 to 8 years can turn the appliance on and off only if it is properly placed and installed in its correct working position when they are under supervision or have been instructed on the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the potential dangers. Children aged 3 to 8 years are not allowed to plug the appliance, set controls, clean it or perform user maintenance.

WARNING: Some parts of the appliance may be hot during operation and can cause burns. It is necessary to exercise caution in the presence of children or persons with physical or mental impairments.

Do not immerse in water!

WARNING: This heater is not equipped with a device for measuring the room temperature. Do not use the heater in small rooms occupied by individuals that are not capable of leaving the room without assistance, unless proper supervision is available.

CONVECTOR ASSEMBLY

Make sure that the package contains all the parts required to assemble the convector. Contact your vendor if this is not the case.

Package contents:

1. Heat convector: 1 piece

2. Attachment screws: 4 pieces

3. Base: 2 pieces

4. Operating manual: 1 piece

Always disconnect the power supply before any manipulation with the device in order to prevent electric shock.

You have to attach base to the convector before use (included in the package with the convector). You attach the legs to the base of the convector using four included screws. Make sure they are properly inserted into the rails on the bottom of the convector.

WARNING: The heater may not be used without the installed base.

INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS

• Place the convector on a flat surface with a sufficient amount of space around the appliance to ensure the proper function of exhaust vents.
• There must be a distance at least 90 cm between the device and the surrounding objects.

WARNING: To prevent the device from overheating, do not cover the heater.

The heater must not be placed directly under an outlet.

The surfaces marked this way become hot during use.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

This convection heater uses convection technology with temperature control by thermostat.

The power level can be set via heat element switches:

Switch 1 = power of 750 W

Switch 2 = power of 1250 W

Switch 1+2 = power of 2000 W

Turning on the convector and temperature control.

1. With respect to the above defined safety instructions, select a proper location to place the convector.
2. Plug the power cable into a proper electric socket.
3. Turn the THERMOSTAT CONTROL completely to the right for maximum power.
4. Activate the heat elements via the SWITCHES on the side panel. The activation of heat elements is indicated by switch indicator lights. Activate both switches to achieve maximum heat power.
5. When the room has reached the desired temperature, turn the thermostat slowly to the left until the thermostat clicks and the indicators on the heaters' switches turn off. The convector will now automatically switch on and off the heating elements to keep the room temperature at a set value.

Note: When first switched on or switched on after a long period of inactivity, the heaters may emit odor or smoke. This is normal and it will fade away in a short while.

Turning off the convector

• First, turn the convector off and set the thermostat control to position „MIN“, then always unplug the power cable from the outlet.
• Any manipulation with the device can be performed only if the switches are turned off and it is unplugged from the outlet.

Protection against overheating

• The internal thermal fuse protects the heater from overheating and shuts it off automatically. In this case the operating indicator lights turns off.
• If the device shuts itself, unplug the power cable from the outlet. When it cools (in about 15 minutes), the device is again ready for use. Plug the power cable back into the socket.
• If the situation repeats itself, check first, if the thermostat control is properly set and if the ventilation openings of the device are not covered.

CLEANING

• Before cleaning always unplug the power cable from the outlet and let it cool entirely.
• Clean the out surface with a damp cloth and polish it with dry cloth. Do not use detergents or abrasive cleaners and prevent water from entering the device.
