Frequently Asked Questions - FR37 Bimar

How do I use the Bimar FR37 deep fryer?
Fill the fryer with oil up to the MAX mark (about 2.5 L). Set the thermostat to the desired temperature (150-190°C). Wait for the indicator light to go out, then place food in the basket and lower slowly.
What type of oil should I use?
Use high-smoke-point oils like peanut oil, canola oil, or sunflower oil. Avoid olive oil or butter as they burn easily.
How do I clean the FR37 deep fryer?
Unplug and let cool completely. Remove the basket and lid, wash with warm soapy water or in the dishwasher. Wipe the interior with a damp cloth. Never immerse the base in water.
Why is my fryer not heating up?
Check that the thermostat is set above the minimum temperature. Ensure the power cord is plugged in and the outlet works. If still no heat, the thermal fuse may have tripped - contact support.
Can I use the fryer without oil?
No, this is a traditional deep fryer that requires oil. Do not operate without oil as it may damage the heating element.
What is the maximum capacity for food?
Do not fill the basket more than half full to avoid overflowing. For best results, cook in small batches (approx. 300-500g).
How do I know when the oil is at the right temperature?
The indicator light turns off when the set temperature is reached. For accuracy, use a kitchen thermometer. The recommended frying temperature is 175°C for most foods.
Is there a timer on this fryer?
The FR37 does not have a built-in timer. Use an external timer to avoid overcooking.
Can I replace the frying basket?
Yes, replacement baskets are available. Contact Bimar customer service or check online for FR37 basket.
How should I store the deep fryer?
Clean and dry thoroughly before storing. Keep the lid closed to prevent dust. Store in a cool, dry place. Coil the power cord neatly.

USE

The appliance is equipped with the following adjustment elements and accessories:

Bimar FR37 - USE - 1

Thermostat knob (1). It regulates the internal temperature (80-200 °C, approximately); turn the knob clockwise to the desired temperature value: the resistance switches on and when the set temperature is reached, it switches off; it is reactivated as soon as this decreases.

Timer Knob (2). It adjusts the oven operating time (max 30 minutes). Turn the knob clockwise to match the desired time value; at the end of the time the device switches off, and the knob gradually returns to the "0" position (at the same time it beeps). If you decide to interrupt the cycle, simply turn the knob anticlockwise to the "0" position. If the knob is in position "0" the oven does not turn on.

Safety device: it stops the operation if the pot with the basket are not inserted properly in the seat or if they are removed.

2 Indicator lights (red and green): "in operation "(A) and "in temperature" (B). The green "in temperature" indicator light turns off when the set temperature is reached.
