How to assemble the food processor for chopping?

Insert the bowl (C) onto the motor unit (A) by turning it counterclockwise. Place the chopping blade (D) on the shaft, then the lid (E) and turn until it clicks.

How to use the grating/slicing function?

Assemble the bowl, insert the pusher disc (F) then the grating and slicing disc (G) (choose the side). Attach the disc cover (I). Place a container under the outlet (H). Plug in and push foods with the pusher (K).

What is the maximum continuous usage time?

Do not exceed 1 minute per cycle. After one minute, let the appliance cool down for 5 minutes. This prevents motor overheating.

Can I chop ice cubes or coffee?

No, this appliance is not designed for very hard foods such as ice cubes, coffee beans, sugar, rice or spices. Use it only for soft to medium-hard foods.

How to clean the appliance?

Always unplug before cleaning. The motor unit (A) can be cleaned with a damp cloth; never immerse it in water. Removable parts (bowl, blades, discs, lids) can go in the dishwasher or be washed in warm soapy water.

What to do if the appliance does not work?

Check that the bowl and lid are correctly locked (turned fully). Ensure the switch is pressed. If nothing happens, unplug and contact an authorized service. Do not attempt to repair it yourself.

Can I chop meat?

Yes, but first remove bones, tendons and nerves. Cut the meat into pieces before placing it in the bowl. Use the chopping blade.

How to avoid cuts?

Always hold the blades by the shaft and the discs by the edge. Unplug before changing accessories. Wait for the blades to stop completely before opening the lid.

Is the appliance safe for children?

This appliance is not intended for use by children or persons with reduced capabilities without supervision. Never leave the appliance running unattended, and store it out of reach of children.

How to dispose of the appliance at end of life?

Do not throw it in household waste. Take it to a recycling center or an approved collection point for waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE). Recycling helps recover materials and protect the environment.

3. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

• Before using this appliance for the first time, read the following instructions carefully and keep them for future reference.
• Make sure that the mains voltage in your home corresponds to that indicated on the appliance.
• In the event of incompatibility between the mains socket and the appliance plug, replace the socket with a suitable one, using a qualified professional.
• The electrical safety of the appliance is only guaranteed if it is connected to an efficient earth installation, as foreseen in applicable electrical safety regulations. If in doubt, contact a qualified professional.
• The use of adaptors, multiple sockets and or extension cables is not recommended. Where it is not possible to avoid their use, only adaptors or extensions that comply with applicable safety regulations should be used, and ensuring that the indicated voltage limit is not exceeded.
  • After removing the packaging, check

that the appliance is in perfect condition, if in doubt, contact the nearest Technical Support Service.

• Packaging elements (plastic bags, polystyrene foam, etc.), should not be left within the reach of children because they can be dangerous.
• The appliance is for domestic use only. Any other use is considered unsuitable or dangerous.
• The manufacturer shall not be responsible for any damages that may arise from improper or inadequate use, or for repairs conducted by non-qualified personnel.

• Keep the appliance separate from water or other liquids, to avoid electric shock; do not connect the appliance to the mains if it is on a damp surface.
• Place the appliance on a dry, firm and stable surface.

• Do not use or let any part of the appliance come into contact or near hot surfaces (kitchen gas or electric hobs or ovens).
• Do not use detergents or abrasive sponges to clean the appliance.

• Do not let the cable come into contact with the hot parts of the appliance.
• Make sure that the motor has completely stopped before changing blades.
• Hold the blade by the shaft and the disks on the outside to avoid cutting yourself.
• Disconnect the appliance before removing and changing the cutting tools.
• Do not remove the cover until the blades have stopped turning.
• Place a container under the opening where the food will come out when working with the slicing and shredding disk.
• Do not work with the knife or the disk for more than 1 minute at a time. After 1 minute in operation, let it cool for 5 minutes.
• Do not try to cut hard foods, such as coffee, ice cubes, sugar, rice, spices, etc.
• Remove the bones and cartilage before putting meat in the beaker.
• Do not cut or shred foods such as cheese, tomatoes, lemons, dates, peaches or frozen foods.

4. ASSEMBLY

FOR MINCING

• Fit the beaker (C) on the motor (A) making sure the devices are properly adjusted. Turn the beaker anti-clockwise until it fits properly. (fig. 2)
• Insert the mincing blade (D) in the shaft. (fig. 3)
• Fit the cover (E) over the beaker and turn it anti-clockwise as far as it will go (fig. 4).

- Make sure that the cover fits properly into the safety slot.

FOR SHREDDING AND SLICING

• Fit the beaker (C) on the motor (A) making sure the devices are properly adjusted. Turn the beaker anti-clockwise until it fits properly. (fig. 2)
• Insert the ejector disk (F) in the shaft.
• Fit the shredding and slicing disk (G) over the ejector disk (fig. 5) (the ejector disk and the shredding and slicing disk can be used on both sides).
• Fit the cover which corresponds to the disk (I) and turn it anti-clockwise as far as it will go (fig. 6).
• Make sure that the cover fits properly into the safety slot.

5. OPERATION

FOR MINCING

1. Follow the assembly instructions "for mincing".
2. Put the food into the beaker.
3. Close the cover (E) (fig. 4)
4. Plug in the appliance
5. Press the switch (B). The appliance will remain on whilst you press the switch.
6. Release the switch and only remove the cover when the blade has stopped turning.
7. Unplug the appliance.
8. Remove the knife (D) carefully and empty the beaker.

FOR SHREDDING AND SLICING

1. Follow the assembly instructions "for shredding and slicing".
2. Put a container under the opening where the food comes out (H).
3. Plug in the appliance
4. Put the food in the opening (J).
5. Press the switch (B) and push the food slowly with the pusher (K) (fig. 7).
6. The appliance will remain on whilst you press the switch.
7. Only remove the disk cover (I) when the shredding and slicing disks have stopped turning.
8. Unplug the appliance.

6. CLEANING

Unplug the appliance before cleaning.

Dismantle the appliance by reversing the “assembly” instructions in section 4.

In order to prevent the residue from drying out, clean the components immediately after use.

Do not put the motor in the dishwasher, under the tap or submerge it in water.

Use a damp cloth to clean the motor.

Clean the individual components with warm water and detergent. They can also be washed in the dishwasher.

7. INFORMATION FOR THE CORRECT DISPOSAL OF ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC APPLIANCES

At the end of its working life, the product must not be disposed of as urban waste. It must be taken to a special local authority differentiated waste collection centre or to a dealer providing this

service. Disposing of a household appliance separately avoids possible negative consequences for the environment and health deriving from inappropriate disposal and enables the constituent materials to be recovered to obtain significant savings in energy and resources.
