Place the base on a flat, dry surface. Fill the water tank with fresh water, then stack the tiered baskets on top. Ensure the lid is securely locked before operating.
Can I use the steamer without water?
No, never operate the steamer without water. It has boil-dry protection that will automatically shut it off, but always fill the tank to the minimum level.
How much water should I add?
Fill the water tank to the maximum level (2.0 L) for long steaming sessions. For shorter cooking, use less water but always above the minimum mark.
What foods can I steam?
You can steam vegetables, fish, poultry, dumplings, rice, eggs, and reheat leftovers. The steamer is versatile for a variety of dishes.
