How do I connect the keyboard to my computer?

Insert the included USB receiver into an available USB port on your computer. Then, install two AAA batteries into the keyboard’s battery compartment. The keyboard should automatically connect. If not, press the connect button on the receiver and then on the keyboard.

Is the keyboard compatible with Android tablets or smartphones?

Yes, it can work with Android devices that support USB OTG. You will need an OTG adapter to connect the USB receiver to your Android device. The keyboard and touchpad should function as a standard HID input device.

How do I clean the keyboard and touchpad?

Turn off the keyboard and remove the batteries. Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or isopropyl alcohol to wipe the keys and touchpad. Do not use bleach or abrasive cleaners. Allow to dry completely before reinserting batteries.

How long do the batteries last?

Battery life depends on usage. On average, two AAA batteries can last up to 6 months with moderate use. To extend battery life, turn off the keyboard when not in use using the power switch on the bottom.

First, ensure the batteries are fresh and correctly inserted. Remove and reinsert the USB receiver. Try pressing the connect button on both the receiver and keyboard. If still not working, try on another computer to isolate the issue. Contact Perixx support if the problem persists.

How do I replace the batteries?

Turn the keyboard over and locate the battery compartment cover. Slide the cover off, remove old batteries, and insert two new AAA batteries according to the polarity markings. Replace the cover and slide it shut.

Does the keyboard have a backlight?

No, the PERIBOARD-509 H PLUS does not feature a backlight. It is designed for use in well-lit environments.

How do I factory reset the keyboard?
