How do I fill the water tank?

Unplug the iron. Open the water inlet cover. Use the provided measuring cup to pour water into the tank. Do not exceed the MAX level. Use distilled or tap water. Close the cover securely.

Why is the iron not producing steam?

Ensure the water tank has enough water. Set the temperature dial to a steam-enabled setting (usually 3 dots or higher). Wait for the iron to heat up. If still no steam, try the self-cleaning function or descale the iron.

How do I use the steam burst feature?

Press the Steam Burst button located on the handle. This releases a powerful jet of steam to remove stubborn wrinkles. Wait a few seconds between bursts to allow the iron to reheat.

What does the auto shut-off do?

The auto shut-off turns off the iron if left unattended for 8 minutes (when placed horizontally) or 30 seconds (if tipped over). It is a safety feature to prevent accidents. Move the iron to reactivate it.

Can I use the iron for vertical steaming?

Yes, the Kunft KSG-1876 can be used for vertical steaming. Hang the garment on a hanger, hold the iron vertically, and press the Steam Burst button to remove wrinkles from curtains, suits, or dresses.

How do I clean the soleplate?

Unplug and let the iron cool. Wipe the soleplate with a damp cloth. For stubborn residue, use a non-abrasive cleaner. Do not use steel wool or harsh chemicals. The self-cleaning function also helps maintain the soleplate.

What should I do if water leaks from the iron?

Check if the water tank is overfilled. Drain excess water. Ensure the temperature setting is high enough for steam. If leaking persists, activate the anti-drip system by ironing at a higher temperature. Also, empty the tank when storing.

How often should I descale the iron?

Descaling every 3 months is recommended, especially in hard water areas. Use a mixture of 1 part white vinegar to 2 parts water. Fill the tank, heat the iron, and press the self-cleaning button repeatedly to flush out deposits.

Can I use the iron without water?

Yes, the iron can be used for dry ironing. Set the temperature to the desired level and iron without filling the water tank. The dry ironing function is suitable for fabrics that require no moisture.

What does the indicator light mean?

The temperature indicator light turns on when the iron is heating and turns off when the set temperature is reached. It will cycle on and off during use. This is normal and indicates the thermostat is maintaining the heat.

Do not tangle the cord or pull it to disconnect the appliance. Also, keep the cord away from warm surfaces.

Never use the appliance if it has a damaged cable or socket.

Take it to the Technical Support Service for replacement.

1.3. Humidity and Water

Do not use your appliance in humid places. Do not allow the appliance to become wet under any circumstances as this may be dangerous. To avoid fire hazard or electric shock do not expose your appliance to humidity or water. Furthermore, do not place your appliance under water (e.g. for cleaning).

2.1. Product Description

This product provides easy and professional quality ironing at home. Sheets, towels, jeans etc. can be ironed faster. The holes in the tip of the iron release a jet of steam which softly smoothes away even the most difficult creases.

2.2. Operations Instructions

INSTALLATION

Take the appliance out of the box and remove the packing. In order to ensure sufficient ventilation, the distance between the iron and the wall or other objects should be at least 15cm at the back and 15cm on the side.

a) Place the appliance on a stable and heat-resistant surface

c) Fill with tap water or demineralized water. The water tank capacity is 2.0 liters. Fill the water tank with 1800 - 1900ml of water and be careful not to overfill it. If some water comes out or if the water tank is too full, empty the tank slightly and dry the appliance thoroughly.
d) Insert the plug into the wall outlet and turn on the switch.
e) When the iron operating indicator goes out the appliance is ready for use.

Note: During the whole time it is in use, the iron's indicator will turn on and off in erratic intervals, this is normal.

f) Adjust the steam jet by turning the steam temperature dial.

To activate the steam jet, press the steam button.

To obtain a continuous jet of steam, use the continuous steam lever. If the steam stops coming out, this is probably because there is no more water in the tank. In order to continue ironing, follow the instructions in the "SUPPLYING WATER WHILE OPERATING" section.

Steaming Fabrics

Follow the "INSTRUCTIONS" from (a) to (f).

Place the iron vertically at a minimum distance of 20-30cm from curtains or fabrics and press the steam button, then steam the fabrics using a circular movement.

Note: be careful to check the compatibility of the fabric with this kind of treatment by checking on the fabric label. The appliance has Super-large capacity water tanks and can be used for long time. When there is no water left in the tank, the indicator will turn on and you must then add water to the tank.

Dry Ironing (without steam)

a) Place the appliance on a stable and heat-resistant surface
b) Turn on the iron using the on/off button which will light, as will the iron operating indicator.
c) When the iron operating indicator goes out, the iron is ready for use

2.3. Maintenance

Servicing due to damage or faults caused by the formation of scale are not covered by the guarantee.

This device must only be repaired by qualified technicians authorized by specific centers.
