Frequently Asked Questions - SC-T7000 EPSON

How to load roll paper on the EPSON SC-T7000?

To load roll paper, place the roll on the tray, attach the adapters to each end, then press the Load/Remove Paper button on the control panel. Follow the on-screen instructions to insert the paper edge into the feed slot.

How to clean the print head?

Use the Print Head Cleaning function from the Maintenance menu on the control panel or through the printer driver. This unclogs blocked nozzles. If the problem persists, repeat the operation or perform a deep cleaning.

Which ink cartridges are compatible with the SC-T7000?

The SC-T7000 uses Epson UltraChrome XD pigment ink cartridges in five colors: Photo Black (PK), Matte Black (MK), Cyan, Magenta, and Yellow. Available in 110 ml, 350 ml, and 700 ml capacities.

How to resolve a paper jam?

In case of a jam, open the printer cover and gently remove the jammed paper. Follow the instructions displayed on the control panel screen. If the problem persists, check that the paper is not curled or damaged before reloading it.

How to print borderless?

For borderless printing, select Borderless Printing mode in the printer driver (Advanced tab). Make sure to use compatible media and set the paper size accordingly. Borderless printing is available for certain standard sizes.

How to connect the printer to a network?

Connect an Ethernet cable to the printer's LAN port. Use the EpsonNet Config utility to assign an IP address. You can also configure network settings via the control panel in the Configuration menu.

How to replace the waste ink bottle?

Open the maintenance box cover located at the front of the printer. Remove the old bottle by unlocking it and insert the new one. Follow the on-screen instructions. The waste ink bottle must be replaced when it is almost full.

How to use the enlarged copy function?

Connect an optional scanner to the dedicated port. Select the Enlarge tab on the control panel, then choose the enlargement ratio. Place the document on the scanner and press OK to start the enlarged copy.

What types of media are supported?

The SC-T7000 supports roll paper (up to 44 inches wide), cut sheets (thickness 0.08 to 0.8 mm), and poster board (thickness 0.9 to 2.1 mm). Consult the Epson special media table for recommended types.

How to move or transport the printer?

Before moving the printer, turn it off, disconnect all cables, and remove any paper. Leave the ink cartridges in place to avoid leaks. Use the original box and packaging materials for transport. After moving, check the nozzle status via the Maintenance menu.
