INSTRUCTIONMANUAL
Please read this instruction manual carefully and familiarize yourself with your new Audio system before using it for the first time. Please retain this manual for future reference.

CONNECTING TO POWER
Before switching on make sure that the voltage of your electricity supply is the same as that indicated on the rating plate.
For your own safety read the following instructions carefully before attempting to connect this unit to the mains.
This unit is designed to operate on AC 230V 50Hz current only. Connecting it to other power sources may damage the unit.
CAUTION
To prevent electric shock disconnect from the mains before removing cover. No user serviceable parts inside. Refer servicing to qualified service personnel.

Mains Supply: 230V 50Hz - AC only
This symbol means that this unit is double insulated. An earth connection is not required.
POWER SUPPLY
Remove the stereo carefully from the box, retaining the packaging for future use (servicing).
AC POWEROPERATION
Connect the plug to a mains power inlet 230V AC \~ 50 Hz.
ASSEMBLING
The belt and turntable platter have been installed properly at factory, but the belt may be loose during transportation. If so, the following procedures will be taken for belt installation by yourself.
A. Remove the rubber mat from the turntable platter and the E ring from the turntable shaft, then release the turntable platter from the shaft
B. Pu t the drive belt on the inner rim of the turntable platter and pull it through the hole
C. Hold the belt with your fingers and place the belt onto the motor pulley as shown in the drawing "Fig. 1".
D. Clip the E ring on the shaft and place the rubber mat onto the turntable platter.
Caution:
- Make sure that the drive belt is not twisted or distorted.
- Avoid oil. Oil splashes will make the belt slippery.
Auto Return Reset:
Always do the reset for Auto Return once you move this product. The mechanism of Auto Return will rotate irregularly when moving and it will cause the malfunction of Auto Return. The following steps will reset the mechanism to normal.
- Place a record on the platter and play it.
- Manually lever the tone arm and place it to the blank part of the end of the record.
- The mechanism of Auto Return function will be adjusted properly and the tone arm will automatically return to the arm rest.

Preparation
Open the Record Player Cover.


Listening to Records
- Set the power ON/OFF SWITCH (3) to ON position.
- Place a record on the turntable, over the central spindle. Place the EP adapter over the central spindle when playing 17cm EP records.
- Set the Speed Selector (5) to 33 or 45 rpm according to the record.
- Release the tonearm clamp, and remove the protective cap from the stylus.
- Lift the Tonearm with the Tonearm Lift Lever.
- Move the tonearm to the beginning of the record, or to the start of a particular track.
- Gently lower the tone arm onto the record with the Tonearm Lift lever to start playing.
- When the record is finished the tonearm will automatically stop and return to the rest.
- To stop manually, lift the tonearm from the record and return it to the rest.
- To automatically stop the record, press the "EJECT" button (15).
Notes: Do not stop or turn the platter manually.
Moving or jarring the turntable without securing the Tonearm clamp could result in damage to the Tonearm. Reinstall the protective cap on the stylus when not in use.
How to suspend play
Setting the cueing lever to the UP position will lift the tone arm and then the play stops.
How to use manual cueing
The cueing lever is used when you want to momentarily interrupt the tone arm. Move the lever gently to the "UP" position to interrupt the playing and to the "DOWN" position to resume playing.
Keep the cueing lever in the down position when you are not using it.

SOFTWARE INSTRUCTION
Before Starting the Software
Make sure that your USB turntable is plugged into the computer and both the computer and the turntable are plugged in and on.
To Install Software (PC)
- Plug in your turntable to an AC outlet and connect the USB port on the Turntable to the USB port of your computer.
- Turn on the power switch to your turntable.
- Windows system will detect a new device and that it is available to use.
- Insert the CD that came with your USB turntable.
- Run the file "install audacity-win-1.2.6b.exe" to install Audacity software. Once installed, run the Audacity program.
To Install Software (MAC)
- Insert the included CD
- Open the CD icon on the desktop.
- Drag the installation folder for audacity to your hard drive. We recommend that you move the folder to your "Applications" folder.
- A window will come up which shows the files copying.
- EJECT the CD
- Open "Audacity" from where you moved it to on your hard drive.
Software Configuration
- Click on Microphone in the drop down menu and select "Stereo Mix"

- Select the "Edit" menu and then "Preferences" Select the USB audio device under the "Recording" selection as shown. Select "USB Audio CODEC" to hear the audio while recording.
Note: The USB Turntable may show up with a different name in Windows system.. This may depend on your computer model and operating system. 99% of the time it will contain "USB" in the Name

After complete the above setting, you are ready for recording.
If you are still having difficulty finding the USB Turntable, try to check your system settings or control panel to adjust audio input settings from the sound control panel.

LINEOUTCONNECTION
You can connect the system to your home Hi-fi system by connecting the LINE OUT socket (26) to the auxiliary input socket with a RCA cable (not included).
