Frequently Asked Questions - Double Force Pro FO827ES0 OBH NORDICA

How do I clean the food processor?
Unplug the appliance. Remove all accessories and wash them in warm soapy water or a dishwasher (top rack). Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the base in water. Dry thoroughly before reassembly.
What does the EASYLOCK system do?
The EASYLOCK system ensures that the bowl and lid are securely locked in place before the motor can start. It prevents accidental operation and improves safety.
Can I blend hot liquids?
Yes, but exercise caution. Allow liquids to cool below 80°C (176°F) before blending to avoid steam ejection. Always start at low speed and increase gradually.
Why does my food processor stop suddenly?
This is likely due to the overheat protection. Switch off, unplug, and let it cool for about 20 minutes. If the problem persists, check that all parts are correctly assembled and the lid is closed.
Can I use the food processor to knead heavy dough?
Yes, the Dough program is designed for bread dough. Use the kneading accessory and do not exceed the maximum flour quantity (500 g). Avoid using the whisk or emulsifying disc for heavy dough.
How do I change accessories?
Always unplug the appliance. Press the release button (if applicable) to unlock the accessory. Remove it carefully as blades are sharp. Attach the new accessory by aligning and locking it into place until you hear a click.
What is the warranty period and how do I claim?
OBH Nordica offers a 2-year limited warranty for domestic use in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Finland. Keep your proof of purchase. Contact the store or an authorized service center. The warranty covers manufacturing defects but not misuse or normal wear.
Can I grind nuts in the food processor?
Yes, use the mini chopper for fine powder (max 80 g per batch) or the large bowl for larger quantities. Use the Pulse function to avoid overheating. Scrape sides between pulses.
How do I make mayonnaise?
Use the emulsifying disc or whisk. Add egg yolks, mustard, and salt in the bowl. Start the Beat program at speed 2. After 15 seconds, slowly drizzle oil through the lid opening. Beat another 30 seconds after all oil is added.
Is the blender jug suitable for crushing ice?
This food processor is not designed for ice crushing. For blending, use soft ingredients. Ice may damage the blades or motor.

Ingredients: 500 g flour, 5 g dry yeast, 10 g salt, 320 g water at 25°C

Place the flour, salt and yeast in the food processor bowl with the blade. Close the food processor and prepare your volume of water. Start the “Dough” program or activate Speed 2 of your food processor for 1 minute 30 seconds and pour the water directly in the spout. Cover and let the dough rise at 35° C for 1 hour; the dough must double in volume. Shape your loaf and let it rise again for 1 hour at 35° C; your loaf must double in volume. Bake in a preheated oven at 220° C for 40 minutes in a damp environment (place a bowl of water on the bottom of the oven).

Cake Batter

Ingredients: 150 g flour, 150 g sugar, 150 g soft butter cut into pieces, 150 g eggs (3 eggs), 5 g baking powder

Pour all ingredients in the bowl and set up the kneading accessory and the lid. Start the food processor's “Dough” program or activate Speed 2 to mix them until the butter is completely incorporated. Re-open the food processor to scrape the sides of your bowl to ensure all ingredients are well mixed. Then, restart the food processor for 1 minute. Pour the batter in a greased, floured cake tin and bake in a preheated oven at 170°C for 1 hour.

Crepe Batter

Ingredients: 200 g egg (4 eggs), 40 g sugar, 10 cl oil (or 90 g melted butter), 750 g milk, 375 g flour

In the blender bowl, place the eggs, oil, sugar and milk. Select the “Smoothie” program or Speed 2. After 30 s, without stopping the food processor, pour the flour through the opening of the measuring cap and run the blender for 1 minute. Let the batter rest for at least one hour in a cool place before making your crepes.

Soup

Ingredients for 1.25 l of soup: 150 g carrots, 150 g leeks, 300 g potatoes, 100 g onion, 800 g water

Cook the vegetables in advance (steam cooking recommended). Once cooked, pour the vegetables in the blender, add the water and start the “Soup” program or Speed 2 for 1 to 2 minutes. Be sure to wait until the food processor’s parts have stopped moving before opening the lid.

Beef-Carrot Purée

Ingredients: 300 g carrots, 100 g potatoes, 100 g beef, 50 g cooking juice

Cook the vegetables and the meat in advance (steam cooking recommended). Pour all ingredients in the bowl with the blade and add the water. If necessary, scrape and blend again.

Hazelnuts

For a fine, consistent powder, blend the hazelnuts in small batches in the mini chopper (max 80 g per blending batch). Then use the “Pulse” function 8 times for 1 second each time.

To grind the hazelnuts in a single step, blend the hazelnuts in the large food processor bowl. Pour the 200 g of hazelnuts in the bowl with the blade. Start the food processor on Speed 2 for 30 seconds. Re-open the bowl to scrape the bowl to ensure all hazelnuts are well mixed. Restart the food processor for 30 seconds.

Mayonnaise

Ingredients: 2 egg yolks, 20 g mustard, 20 cl oil, salt

In the bowl, place the egg yolks, mustard and salt with the disk or the emulsion whisk. Put the lid in place and start the appliance with the “Beat” program or activate Speed 2 for 2 minutes. After 15 seconds of operation, gradually and slowly add the oil through the lid opening. For optimal results, beat for another 30 seconds once all the oil is poured in.

Tip to help the mayonnaise keep longer: at the start, add 1 teaspoon of vinegar with the egg yolk

Chantilly

Ingredients: 250 ml whipping cream (30%), 20 g icing sugar.

After thoroughly cooling the bowl, place the disk or the emulsion whisk in the bowl. Add the cold cream and the icing sugar. Operate at Speed 1 or using the "Beat" program and follow the time indicated in the chart.
