How do I turn on the Eldom HLC01 cooker?

Plug the cooker into a mains socket and turn the knob to the desired heat setting. The indicator light will show that the plate is heating.

It is recommended to use wooden or silicone utensils to avoid scratching the surface. Metal utensils may damage the plate.

How do I clean the cooker?

Unplug the device and let it cool completely. Wipe the surface with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Do not immerse in water or use abrasive cleaners.

What is the maximum power consumption?

The maximum power consumption is 1500 W. Ensure the electrical circuit can handle this load.

Does the cooker have automatic shut-off?

Can I use the cooker on a glass surface?

HOW TO USE THE APPLIANCE

HLC01 ceramic heater has many advantages, with the major ones being: the state-of-the-art ceramic heating element and the insert imitating a genuine fireplace hearth. The ceramic technology increases the operational efficiency of the device so that it heats up quickly and evenly. The "FLAME" function, which can be activated independently of the heating function can be used to obtain a cosy fireplace effect.

• After unpacking the appliance, make sure it has not been damaged during transport. In case of any doubts, do not use the appliance until consulting a service centre. Put the appliance onto a flat, stable and high temperature resistant ground.
• Turn the switch (1) to position "O" (appliance turned off).
• Connect the appliance to a power source with parameters in accordance with the Instructions for Use.
• choose operation mode by turning the knob (1):

FLAME

LOW - hot air

HIGH - very hot air

- The appliance work is signaled by control lamps (2)

When used for the first time, the heating elements and insulation can emit characteristic smell. It is a normal phenomenon.

In the base of the appliance there is a switch which cuts off power supply in case of overturning.

Do not cover outlets when the appliance is in operation.

CLEANING AND PRESERVATION

• Before cleaning remove the power cable from the socket
• The appliance cannot be submersed in water
• Do not use any cleansing agents which are strong and damage the surface
• Wipe the housing with a moistened cloth

- before first use familiarise with the whole instruction manual

- the device should be plugged in the socket with the working parameters described on the shell

- the device works only in vertical setting

- the device should be unplugged before cleaning and maintenance and in case of improper working or after using the device

- the device should be unplugged by pulling the plug not the cable

- do not use close to shower, bath, washbasin, pool, etc.

- do not use close to combustible materials such as furniture, bedding, paper, clothes, curtains, carpets, etc.

- do not operate in with high risk of gas explosion or when flammable solvents, lacquers or adhesives are used

- do not use outdoors

- do not touch with wet or moistened hands or feet

- do not immerse in water or sprinkle

- move only using the handle (4)

- do not let children or animals to have access to the device. While operating the device the surface temperature may be high.

- do not use for drying clothes

- do not cover outlets while operating the device

- do not direct the cord over the heater and outlets

- the device should not be used by people (including children) with limited physical, sensory and mental abilities unless they are under supervision of a person responsible for their safety

- do not leave working device without supervision

- let heater cool down before putting it to a hide

- check regularly whether the device or the cord have any damages. Do not operate if any damages are noticed.

- do not use if the cord is damaged, when the device fell over or was otherwise damaged. Any mending of the device should be let to authorised service providers. List of service providers can be found in the annex or on website www.eldom.eu

- Any mending of the device should be held by authorised service providers. Any modernisations or using spare parts or other elements other than original is forbidden and dangerous.
