The HEPA filter should be replaced every 6 to 12 months, depending on usage and air quality. The filter replacement indicator will alert you when it's time.

Can I wash the HEPA filter?

No, the HEPA filter is not washable. Only the pre-filter is washable. Replace the HEPA filter when dirty.

How do I clean the pre-filter?

Remove the pre-filter and vacuum it or wash it with mild soap and water. Let it dry completely before reinstalling. Clean every 2 weeks.

What is the recommended room size for this purifier?

The Fakir Rigo is suitable for rooms up to 30 square meters (320 sq ft).

Does the purifier have an auto mode?

Yes, it has an auto mode that adjusts fan speed based on the air quality sensor.

Thank you for purchasing this Fakir Rigo ultrasonic humidifier which has been designed and manufactured to give you many years of trouble-free service.

You may already be familiar with using a similar product, but do please take time to read these instructions - they have been written to ensure you get the very best from your purchase. If you are experiencing any problem with the product please apply to Authorized Fakir Service.

Safety is Important

For yours and others safety please read the instructions before using the appliance. Please keep this instruction in a safe place for the further use. If you pass the appliance on, pass on the instructions too. Remove all packaging, but keep it until you are satisfied that the appliance is working.

This appliance is not designed to be used by persons (including children) with limited physical, sensory or mental capacities or by persons lacking in experience and/or knowledge, unless they are supervised by someone who is responsible for their safety or have received instructions on how to use the appliance.

2. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the Authorized Fakir Service in order to avoid a hazard.
3. Do not add detergents, chemical solutions which are not made by our company into the unit.
4. Unplug appliance during filling, cleaning and maintenance.
5. Any abnormal smell during normal operation, please switch off and disconnect power supply and want Authorized Fakir Service amend.
6. Never touch water in the Water Basin & components in the water when the unit is in working.
7. Never switch on when there is no water in the water basin.
8. Never clean Transducer cpl with detergents, chemical solutions that not proposed by our company.
9. Never let water splash into inner Base Unit for avoiding components damage.

FUNCTIONS

A. Relative Humidity

1. The percentage of water mist in a give space with a given air temperature is named as relative humidity, usually marked as %RH, i.e. 45%RH. The air contains water mist more or less. The proportion of water mist to the air varies according to different air temperatures.

2. In the winter, the cold air outside enters the room and becomes warmer by the higher temperature in the room. As a result, the relative humidity decreases. Want to keep the healthy environmental humidity? We need to increase the mist volume in the air. Humidifier can do that for us.

3. Relative humidity in different environments suitable for people: Bedroom, sitting room: 45-64%RH Patient's room: 40-55RH Room with computer, experiment equipments: 45-60%RH Room with piano: 40-60%RH Museum, exhibition hall, and library: 40-50%RH

B. Water filter:

1. The plastic part is mixed with NANO-SILVER material to prohibit the bacterial.
2. Ceramic balls can soften the hard water.
3. Ceramic filter can eliminate the strange smell in the water.

Working Principle: Ultrasonic Humidifier use the ultrasonic high-frequency oscillator to break up water into tiny water particles with the diameter of about 1-5um. The ventilation system blows out this water into the dry air where they evaporate to give the required humidity. The clearly visible smooth and even fog can be seen out of the unit.

INSTRUCTIONS TO USAGE:

1. Put the machine on a flat surface.
2. Fill the water into the water tank, and then tighten the tank cover.
3. Put the water tank on the main body.
4. Check if the rated voltage meets the input voltage, and plug in the socket.
5. Switch on the machine; the background

light of LCD will be on. The machine begins to work.

1. Press the button "MAX" or "MIN", you may adjust the mist volume. On the remote control, just press the button "MIST VOLUME".

2. Press the button "OZONE", the ozone generator works. On the LCD display, it shows the shape of trees. Press again to stop the function.

3. Constant humidity: Before you press the button "HUMIDITY", LCD display shows the current humidity. You may set the humidity arranged from 45%RH to 90%RH. Press once, it will increase by 5%RH. When it reaches 90%RH, press again, it will back to 45%RH. After you set the expected humidity, the machine will keep the memory after 5 seconds. 5 seconds later, LCD display shows the current humidity. If the expected humidity is less than the current humidity, the machine will be in sleeping state. But if the expected humidity is higher than the current humidity, the humidify function will work.

4. Timer setting: There are 5 timer setting: 2,4,6,8,10 hours. Press the button "TIMER", LCD display shows the shape of clock. The timer shows the rest operation time and decrease by 2 hours, i.e., if set the timer at 10 hours, LCD display shows 8 after two hours.

5. Once the water in the basin is too little to keep the machine working, the machine will automatically stop working. LCD shows nothing. Refill the water, and the machine will restart.

Correct Humidity Level:

- What exactly is relative humidity: Relative humidity is the percentage of the actual water vapor contains to the saturated water vapor contains under the same definite temperature and space. We normally mark it with %RH,

like 45%RH. Atomosphereic air always contains water vapor, the percentage of which depends the meteorological conditions. The higher the temperature is the more the air keeps water vapor. Therefore, we use the concept of “relative humidity”. When the cold air ins heated up to the comfort temperature in winter, the relative percentage of the water vapor falls which means the relative humidity drops. In order to keep a comfortable and health environment at home, we need some artificial addition of water or water vapor to room air- that’s air humidification.

Maintenance:

In case when the water is hard which means water contains too much calcium and magnesium, they can cause “white powder” problem and give heavy scales on the surface of water basin, transducer and inner surface of the water tank. Scales on the surface of transducer will unable the unit work properly.

We recommend:

1. Use cold boiled water or distilled water.
2. Clean the transducer, water tank and basin unit every week.
3. Change the water in water tank more

often to keep it fresh.

1. Make sure to pull out the water from the water tank and dry the water basin before you store the unit unused for a long period of time.
2. Clean the whole unit, and make sure that all parts of the unit are dried completely before unused for longer period of time.

HOW TO CLEAN THE FILTER SYSTEM:

1. Take the filter system away from the tank cover.
2. Put the filter system into the salty water for 24 hours.
3. Take the filter system away from the salty water; shake for several times, clean it with clear water. Make it dry. Pack it into a polybag. Keep it in a cool and shady place.

How to clean the transducer:

1. Put 5-10 drops of cleaning abluent on the surface of the transducer, wait for 2-5 minutes;
2. Brush out the scale on the surface.
3. Then use the wet soft cloth wipe the transducer.

How to clean the basin unit:

Cleaning the water basin with soft cloth and the cleaning abluent if there is scale in it.
