Installation and Adjustment of Push Handles

The Quickie Argon is equipped with height-adjustable handles secured by an anti-slip bolt. Here is the complete procedure:

Adjustment Procedure (Fig. 6.24)

Open the quick release lever (1) located at the base of the handle.
Position the handle at the desired height according to your personal needs.
Listen for the distinct click that indicates the handle is properly positioned.
Completely close the release lever.
Tighten the clamping lever nut (2) to firmly secure the support in place.

Mandatory Safety Check

Before any use, test the tightness by laterally rotating the handle. It should not move. Warning: if the nut is loose after engaging the lever, the handle will be loose and may cause stair injuries.

Retractable Handles (Fig. 6.25)

To store the handles, press the push button (2). Fully unfold them until they click into place before each use.
