La portée dépend du modèle d'émetteur. Pour l'U1, elle est de 152,4 m (500 ft) minimum dans des conditions typiques et jusqu'à 487,6 m (1600 ft) en visibilité directe. Pour l'U1H, elle est de 300 m (1000 ft) minimum et jusqu'à 975,2 m (3200 ft) en visibilité directe.
Quelle est l'autonomie des piles des émetteurs ?
Avec une pile alcaline AA 1,5 V, les émetteurs U1 et U2 offrent environ 12 heures d'autonomie, tandis que l'U1H offre environ 6 heures. Les caractéristiques de la batterie peuvent limiter cette autonomie par temps froid.
Puis-je utiliser plusieurs systèmes UA simultanément ?
Oui, jusqu'à 20 systèmes peuvent fonctionner simultanément en utilisant les groupes de compatibilité de fréquences. Il est recommandé d'utiliser des fréquences du même groupe pour éviter les interférences. Consultez le guide de sélection des fréquences dans la notice.
Comment choisir la fréquence de fonctionnement ?
Utilisez les groupes de compatibilité listés dans la notice. Si des chaînes TV (66-69) sont actives dans votre région, choisissez un groupe adapté (4-7). Le récepteur affiche le groupe et la chaîne TV correspondant à la fréquence sélectionnée. Évitez les fréquences correspondant aux chaînes TV locales.
Quels types d'antennes puis-je utiliser ?
Le système est livré avec une antenne 1/2 onde (UA820A). En option, vous pouvez utiliser une antenne directionnelle (UA870A), un kit d'antenne active (UA830A) ou des câbles d'extension d'antenne (UA825, UA850). Le récepteur fournit une alimentation 12 Vcc pour les antennes actives.
Comment nettoyer et entretenir le système ?
Utilisez un chiffon doux et sec pour nettoyer les boîtiers. Évitez les solvants ou produits abrasifs. Pour les grilles des micros, vous pouvez les dévisser et les nettoyer délicatement. Rangez les émetteurs dans leur sac de transport lorsqu'ils ne sont pas utilisés.
Le système est-il compatible avec d'autres marques ?
Le système Shure UA utilise sa propre gamme de fréquences et ses propres groupes de compatibilité. Pour des performances optimales et pour éviter les interférences, il est recommandé d'utiliser uniquement des équipements Shure compatibles. L'utilisation avec d'autres marques peut nécessiter une configuration minutieuse des fréquences.
Quelle est la consommation électrique du récepteur ?
Le récepteur U4S consomme de 9,6 W (min) à 13,2 W (max), et le U4D de 12 W (min) à 16 W (max). L'alimentation secteur accepte une tension de 90 à 230 Vca, 50/60 Hz.
Puis-je remplacer la pile de l'émetteur par une pile rechargeable ?
Oui, des piles NiCd rechargeables de type AA peuvent être utilisées en option. Cependant, l'autonomie peut être inférieure à celle des piles alcalines. Assurez-vous que la tension est de 1,2 V par élément.

FREQUENCY SELECTION GUIDE

The Shure UHF Wireless System is designed for maximum flexibility and versatility in a variety of applications. Up to 20 Shure UHF Wireless Systems can be operated simultaneously in a single installation using the frequency compatibility groups. Groups A1 and A2 are included in a "master list" that covers all frequencies in the 782 to 806 MHz band. When using the U4D dual receiver, maintain a minimum of 500kHz separation between each receiver in the U4D. Please contact the Shure Customer Service Department If you need additional information or assistance in frequency selection and setup.

COMPATIBILITY GROUPS

The Shure UHF Wireless System includes seven groups of compatible channels. If you are using more than one receiver in the same area, we recommend that you set the receivers to different frequencies within the same group.

Use frequencies from Groups 1-3 in locations where TV channels 66, 67, 68, and 69 are NOT in use. If any of these TV channels are present in your location, use frequencies from one of the Groups 4-7 as indicated in the following table. Use the UHF TV Channel Guide in this supplement to determine which TV channels may be present in your area.

NOTE: The Group and Channel for any frequency in the UHF band as well as the TV channel corresponding to that frequency is displayed on the U4 receiver. If the receiver displays a TV channel that is active in your area for a frequency you have selected, choose a different frequency.

The following table identifies U.S. cities that have UHF TV stations operating on TV Channels 66, 67, 68, and 69. Shure recommends that you operate your wireless system only on TV channels other than those listed for your location.
