Important information for correct disposal of the product in accordance with EC Directive 2002/96/EC

This product must not be disposed of as urban waste at the end of its working life. It must be taken to a special waste collection centre licensed by the local authorities or to a dealer providing this service. Separate disposal of electric and/or electronic equipment (WEEE) will avoid possible negative consequences for the environment and for health resulting from inappropriate disposal, and will enable the constituent materials to be recovered, with significant savings in energy and resources. As a reminder of the need to dispose of this equipment separately, the product is marked with a crossed-out wheeled dustbin.

This product is in keeping with the relevant European Community Directives.

INSTALLAZIONE E CONNESSIONI

Questi diffusori sono stati appositamente sviluppati per essere impiegati in sistemi di emergenza e di evacuazione; sono infatti dotati di morsettiera ceramica e fusibile termico, che garantiscono la salvaguardia della linea di collegamento degli altoparlanti nel caso in cui un possibile incendio metta fuori uso uno o più diffusori ad essa collegati. L'installazione di questi diffusori può essere effettuata in diverse modalità, a secondo delle esigenze (vedi sezione "DIMA DI FORATURA):

• Montaggio a parete orizzontale: prevede l'utilizzo dei fori "A" per il modello WSP 406T e dei fori "E" per il modello WSP 406TB.
  In entrambi i casi il fissaggio può essere effettuato sia con viti autofilettanti a testa svasata ( 4÷4,5mm ), sia con tasselli ad espansione con gancio corto.
• Montaggio a parete verticale: Realizzabile solo con il modello WSP 406T, prevede l'utilizzo dei fori "B"; per il fissaggio fare riferimento alle indicazioni sopra riportate.
• Montaggio a soffitto: Utilizzare esclusivamente viti autofilettanti a testa svasata (Ø4÷4,5mm) da inserire, per il modello WSP 406T, nei fori "C" e per il modello WSP 406TB nei fori "D"; in entrambi i casi far passare la testa delle viti nella parte più grande delle asole (1) e spostare/ruotare il diffusore fino a portare la testa delle viti in fondo alle asole (2).

Collegare le terminazioni della linea alla morsettiera facendo riferimento alle indicazioni riportate in fig.1. La potenza dei diffusori è impostata in fabbrica per linea 100V / 6W. Nel caso si volesse modificare questa impostazione, è possibile cambiare la potenza di uscita tramite l'apposito terminale ad inserimento rapido facendo riferimento alla targhetta posta sul trasformatore.

INSTALLATION AND CONNECTION

These speaker units have been developed specifically for use in emergency and evacuation systems (VES) and each has its own ceramic terminal strip and thermal fuse. These ensure the protection of the line connecting the loudspeakers if a fire puts one or more of the speaker units connected to it out of use. These speaker units can be installed in different ways, depending on requirements (see section "DRILLING TEMPLATE):

• Wall horizontal mounting: on the WSP 406T use holes "A", for WSP 406TB use holes "E". In both cases the units can be fixed in place either with self-tapping screws with flared head ( 4 ÷ 4,5mm ) or with expansion bolts with short hooks.
• Wall vertical mounting: Is ONLY possible for the WSP 406T model; use holes "B". To fix the unit in place see above.
• Ceiling mounting: Use only self-tapping screws with flared heads ( 4 ÷ 4.5mm ) to be inserted in holes "C" for the WSP 406T and in holes "D" for the WSP 406TB. In both cases insert the heads of the screws through the widest end of the slots (1), then move/turn the speaker unit until the heads of the screws are at the opposite ends of their slots (2).

Connect the line cable ends to the terminal strip, as indicated in fig.1.

The output of each speaker unit is factory-set for a 100V / 6W line. This setting can be changed by altering the output power by means of the quick-fit terminal, consulting the data plate on the transformer.
