Comment ajuster la viscosité de la peinture ?

Utilisez le gobelet doseur fourni. Remplissez-le à ras bord, mesurez le temps d'écoulement en secondes : c'est la valeur en DIN-sec. Ajoutez un diluant approprié jusqu'à obtenir la viscosité recommandée (ex. 16-20 DIN-sec pour peinture auto, 25-30 pour acrylique).

Comment nettoyer le pistolet après chaque utilisation ?

Débranchez l'appareil. Pulvérisez du diluant ou de l'eau à travers le pistolet. Ensuite, pulvérisez de l'huile pour machine à coudre pour éviter la rouille. Ne jamais immerger le pistolet dans un produit de nettoyage.

Quels types de peinture puis-je utiliser avec ce pistolet ?

Vous pouvez utiliser des laques, peintures et vernis du commerce, à condition que leur viscosité ne dépasse pas 100 DIN-sec. Ajustez la viscosité avec un diluant adapté. Ne pas utiliser de liquides inflammables ou explosifs.

Comment régler le jet de pulvérisation ?

Tournez le bouton de réglage (voir figure A de la notice) jusqu'à obtenir un jet fin et régulier sans formation de gouttes. Effectuez les essais sur une surface d'essai.

Que faire si le pistolet ne pulvérise pas correctement ?

Vérifiez que la viscosité de la peinture est correcte et que la buse n'est pas obstruée. Nettoyez la buse et la soupape d'aspiration. Assurez-vous que le réservoir n'est pas vide (ne pas vider complètement pour éviter les gouttes).

Puis-je pulvériser des liquides inflammables avec ce pistolet ?

Non, c'est strictement interdit. Le pistolet ne doit pas être utilisé avec des liquides inflammables ou explosifs. Travaillez dans un endroit bien ventilé et sans flamme nue.

Quelles précautions de sécurité dois-je prendre ?

Portez un masque de protection respiratoire et des protections auditives (bruit >106 dB). Assurez une bonne ventilation. Ne fumez pas et éloignez toute flamme. Ne dirigez jamais le jet vers des personnes ou des animaux.

Comment remplacer la buse de pulvérisation ?

Débranchez l'appareil. Dévissez la buse existante (repère 4 sur le schéma) et remplacez-la par une buse de diamètre approprié (0,6 mm ou 0,8 mm). Revissez fermement.

Quelle est la capacité du réservoir ?

Le réservoir a une capacité de 0,765 litre. Ne le remplissez pas complètement pour éviter les gouttes ; arrêtez avant qu'il ne soit vide.

Comment entretenir le pistolet pour éviter la rouille ?

Après chaque utilisation et nettoyage, pulvérisez de l'huile pour machine à coudre à travers le pistolet. Cela protège les pièces internes contre la rouille. Rangez-le dans un endroit sec.

• Inhaling the spray is dangerous to health
• Wear a protective mask!
• When working in closed rooms, ensure good ventilation
• Explosion hazard! No naked flame in the working area
• Do not smoke!
• Do not spray any flammable or explosive liquids
• Never aim the spray jet at people or animals
• The spray gun must not be used in an environment where gases are present or can develop

WORKING INFORMATION

DIN-Sec / viscosity

The Parkside PFSPS 150 spray gun can be used for the application of up to maximum 100 DIN-sec. (viscosity). The viscosity can be determined with a simple measuring procedure using the supplied measuring beaker.

1.) Fill the measuring beaker full to the brim.
2.) Measure the efflux time in seconds.
3.) This time is termed DIN-seconds.

Preparation of material to be sprayed

Commercially available lacquers, paints and varnishes are usually adjusted for brushing and not for spraying. For a correct working result, the viscosity of the lacquers, paints and varnishes should be adjusted according to DIN guidelines (see table).

The necessary dilution can be achieved using suitable thinner.

1.) Mix undiluted product well at 20°C
2.) Add suitable thinner
3.) Check viscosity as described above -- see Fig. C --

Never adjust synthetic paint with diluent for cellulose lacquers!

Spraying

The surface to be sprayed must be clean, dry and free from grease.

Observe the safety information

1.) Spray jet regulation -- see Fig. A --. The jet is correctly adjusted when no drops form and the spray is fine and regular.
2.) Do not switch the spray gun on/off over the spraying area, but start and end spraying about 10cm outside the spraying area.

3.) Spray as shown in Fig. D.

• Move the spray gun parallel with the surface - do not move from side to side.
• Move the spray gun at a constant speed.
• Apply the material as thinly as possible
• The paint coats need to dry before the next coat is applied crosswise -- see Fig. E --.

4.) Do not empty the tank completely as this will produce drips!

Maintenance and cleaning - General information

1.) Disconnect the mains plug, also when working on the gun and when the gun is not in use.
2.) Spray thinner or water through the spray gun after each use.
3.) Spray sewing machine oil through the spray gun after cleaning for protection against rust.
4.) Never immerse the spray gun in cleaning agent

Maintenance and cleaning - Special information

1.) Disconnect the mains plug, also when working on the gun and when the gun is not in use.
2.) Unscrew locking screw 5 -- see Fig. B --
3.) Remove pump unit downwards.
4.) Unscrew nozzle 4, remove valve 7.
5.) Remove piston 10 and spring 9 from the spray gun.
6.) Clean the components 4, 7, 9, 10.

Environmental compatibility and material disposal

• Paints, varnishes and lacquers are special waste and must be disposed of accordingly.
• Observe the local regulations.
• Follow the manufacturer's directions.
• Environmentally harmful chemicals must be prevented from entering the soil, groundwater and lakes, rivers or canals.
• Spraying in the area of lakes, rivers or canals or surrounding areas (catchment area) is therefore forbidden
• When purchasing paints, lacquers and varnishes, it must be ensured that these are environmentally compatible.
