Quel type de liquide utiliser dans le SMEG VU30H ?

Utilisez de l'eau avec un additif nettoyant adapté (ex. détergent SMEG). Ne jamais utiliser de solvants ou d'acides (sauf HCl ou chlorures) car ils endommagent la cuve en acier inoxydable.

Comment régler la durée de nettoyage ?

Tournez le bouton rotatif G (temps de nettoyage) sur la valeur souhaitée : 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 minutes ou position continue (∞). L'appareil s'arrête automatiquement après 12 heures en mode continu.

Puis-je utiliser le chauffage sans ultrason ?

Oui, réglez la température souhaitée avec le bouton E. Le chauffage s'active seul. Pour un fonctionnement avec ultrason, maintenez la touche K enfoncée (>2 sec) pour lancer le cycle de chauffage avec brassage automatique du liquide.

Que signifie la fonction 'Sweep' ?

La fonction sweep (balayage) modifie la répartition des ondes ultrasonores dans le bain pour un nettoyage plus homogène des grandes pièces. Activez-la avec la touche M après avoir démarré les ultrasons.

Comment dégazer le liquide de nettoyage ?

Après avoir préparé le bain, appuyez sur la touche L pour lancer le dégazage manuel. Pour un dégazage automatique de 10 minutes, maintenez la touche L enfoncée (>2 sec). Cette fonction élimine les bulles d'air pour améliorer l'efficacité des ultrasons.

Est-il possible de nettoyer des bijoux avec ce nettoyeur ?

Oui, mais placez les bijoux dans un panier ou accrochez-les dans le liquide. Ne les posez jamais directement sur le fond de la cuve. Utilisez un détergent doux adapté et évitez les pierres fragiles ou les perles.

Comment entretenir la cuve après utilisation ?

Videz la cuve via le robinet de vidange (tournez le bouton D en position D2). Nettoyez les dépôts de calcaire avec un détartrant doux (sans chlore) en faisant fonctionner l'appareil avec de l'eau et du concentré. Essuyez avec un chiffon humide. Ne jamais immerger l'appareil.

Quelles sont les précautions de sécurité essentielles ?

Branchez toujours sur une prise avec terre. Ne pas ouvrir le boîtier (risque d'électrocution). Utiliser uniquement des liquides non inflammables. Ne pas toucher le liquide ou la cuve en fonctionnement (risque de brûlure et d'ultrasons). Porter des protections auditives si l'appareil fonctionne sans couvercle.

Que faire si l'appareil ne s'allume pas ?

Vérifiez que le câble d'alimentation est bien branché à la prise et à l'appareil. Vérifiez le fusible. Si l'appareil est en surchauffe, attendez qu'il refroidisse. En cas de dysfonctionnement persistant, contactez le service après-vente.

Puis utiliser des liquides inflammables comme de l'alcool ?

Non, strictement interdit. Les liquides inflammables présentent un risque d'incendie et d'explosion. Utilisez uniquement des nettoyants aqueux non inflammables recommandés.

1. Safety warnings
Carefully read the safety warnings before you operate the unit.
!	The present ultrasonic cleaning unit has been designed for the ultrasonic treatment of items and liquids only.
	The unit must be operated by instructed staff; observe and follow the operating instructions.
4	Risk of electrocution! Connect the unit to a grounded shock-proof socket only! Do not open the unit! Opening of the unit by specialized staff only! For operation place the unit on a dry and stable work place! Do not immerse or rinse the unit with water! Pull the mains plug in case of any malfunctions, if humidity might have entered the unit inside, for maintenance purposes and after use.
3	Risk of fire and explosion! Do not operate the unit with flammable cleaning media!
2	Risk of damage to the transducer tank! Do not put any acids (HCl, etc) or chlorides into the stainless-steel tank! Do not place any items directly on the tank floor!
1	Risk of burning and scalding! Tank, housing and cleaning liquid can heat up considerably, particularly if operated with heating! In permanent operating mode temperatures exceeding 80 °C can be reached.
0	Avoid sound transmission to the operating staff! Do not reach inside the cleaning liquid or touch sound-carrying parts (tank, basket, cleaning items, etc.) during operation.
-	Noise emission! Ultrasonic units can produce annoying sounds. Wear personal ear protection devices when working close to an ultrasonic unit which is operated without cover. Emission data for operation with cover: < 70dBAU.
§	Exclusion of liability: The manufacturer cannot be held liable for damages on persons, equipment or cleaning items caused by improper use and non-observance of the Operating Instructions. The operator is responsible for the instruction of the operating staff. For any queries please contact your supplier or the manufacturer.

7. Mise en service initiale / Mise en service

7.1. Comment monter le raccord de tuyau de vidange

1. Dévissez le bouchon de fermeture (A) ; tournez dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d'une montre.
2. Vissez le raccord de tuyau (B) dans le sens des aiguilles d'une montre (inclus dans le volume de livraison).
3. Connectez un tuyau de 1/2 pouce de longueur requise (non inclus dans le volume de livraison). Fixez le tuyau avec un collier de serrage (inclus dans le volume de livraison).

7.2. Comment connecter l'unité au secteur

Brancher la prise d'entrée secteur (C) sur une prise de courant avec terre à l'aide du câble d'alimentation (fourni) (D). La tension secteur doit correspondre à celle indiquée sur la plaque signalétique de l'appareil.

7.3. Comment remplir la cuve du transducteur

1. Remplir la cuve du transducteur jusqu'aux 2/3 ou jusqu'au repère sur la paroi de la cuve avec de l'eau (E). Attention : ne pas utiliser de solvants ni d'acides !
2. Ajouter un produit de nettoyage adapté ; pour la concentration, suivre les instructions sur l'étiquette. Nettoyants recommandés : détergents de nettoyage SMEG (F).

9. Processus de nettoyage

!	Observe the general safety warnings. The operator is responsible for the control of the cleaning result. Take the warming of the cleaning liquid into consideration when cleaning temperature-sensitive items. Ultrasound can damage sensitive surfaces when operated over a prolonged period of time and particularly when operated at low cleaning frequencies.
1.	If necessary for the cleaning task at hand, pre-heat the liquid (in units with heating).
2.	When the cleaning liquid has been freshly mixed switch on the Degas / Auto-Degas function for degassing the liquid (approx. 10 min).
3.	Immerse the cleaning items into the cleaning liquid. Do not place any items or containers directly onto the tank floor. Use either a cleaning basket, a beaker (filled with water + cleaning chemical) or hang the items into the liquid.
4.	Set the cleaning time – switch on the ultrasound.
5.	If required switch on the sweep function (for the intensive cleaning of large items and for robust surfaces).
6.	Monitor the cleaning process: Check the cleaning result by visual inspection. Repeat the cleaning process if necessary.
7.	Rinse the cleaned items after the cleaning and dry if necessary.

10. Entretien / Soin / Réparation

!	Caution! Pull the mains plug before you carry out any maintenance and care works! Do not put the unit under water! For repair return the unit to your supplier or to the manufacturer.
■	Electrical safety: Regularly check the housing and the mains cable for damage to avoid electrical accidents.
■	Care of transducer tank: Lime deposits in the stainless-steel tank can be removed gently by an appropriate cleaning detergent (operate the unit with water + concentrate). Do not use any scouring media!
■	Care of housing: Depending on their kind, contaminations can be removed with a mild household cleaner or decalcifier (wipe with wet cloth).
■	Disinfection: If the unit is operated in the medical and sanitary sector it is necessary to disinfect the transducer tank and the surfaces regularly for hygienic purposes (standard surface disinfectants).

11. Mise hors service et élimination des déchets

L'appareil et ses composants peuvent être apportés à des centres de recyclage des métaux et de l'électronique ou renvoyés au fabricant.
