Comment installer le verrou CONNLOCKPK10 sur un câble ?

Insérez le connecteur dans la fente du verrou jusqu'au clip. Assurez-vous que le verrou est bien enclenché, puis tournez la clé dans le cylindre pour le verrouiller. Retirez la clé en position verrouillée.

Les 10 verrous utilisent-ils la même clé ?

Non, chaque verrou est livré avec deux clés qui lui sont propres. Les clés ne sont pas interchangeables entre les verrous.

Puis-je utiliser ce verrou sur un câble HDMI ?

Oui, le verrou est compatible avec les connecteurs HDMI, USB, RJ45, DisplayPort et d'autres formats de taille similaire (largeur max 20 mm, hauteur max 12 mm).

Que faire si je perds la clé d'un verrou ?

Les clés ne sont pas disponibles séparément. En cas de perte, vous devrez détruire le verrou (par exemple en le coupant avec une pince) pour retirer le câble. Nous recommandons de noter le numéro de série de chaque verrou pour commander un remplacement.

Ce verrou protège-t-il contre le vol du câble ?

Il dissuade le débranchement non autorisé mais n'empêche pas la coupe du câble. Il est conçu pour la sécurité des connexions dans les racks serveurs ou les espaces de travail partagés.

Puis-je installer plusieurs verrous sur le même câble ?

Il est possible de placer un verrou sur chaque extrémité du câble, mais il n'est pas conçu pour être empilé. Chaque verrou est dédié à un connecteur.

Le verrou peut-il être utilisé en extérieur ?

Le matériau en plastique ABS résiste à une utilisation en intérieur. Pour une exposition prolongée aux UV ou à l'humidité, nous ne recommandons pas son utilisation en extérieur.

Comment nettoyer le verrou ?

Utilisez un chiffon doux et sec pour enlever la poussière. N'utilisez pas de produits chimiques, d'alcool ou de nettoyants abrasifs qui pourraient endommager le mécanisme.

Y a-t-il une garantie sur ce produit ?

Puis-je remplacer un verrou cassé ?

Les verrous ne sont pas réparables individuellement. Si un verrou est cassé, vous pouvez utiliser un autre verrou du lot (si non utilisé) ou acheter un nouveau lot. Le remplacement sous garantie est possible si le défaut est couvert.

Connectivity Lock - Steel Cable Tether

Requirements

Installation

1. (Optional) Thread the Heat Shrink Tubing onto the center of the Steel Cable Tether.

Note: This step is necessary if you plan to utilize the Heat Shrink Tubing.

1. Thread the Aluminum Ferrules onto each end of the Steel Cable Tether.

2. Wrap one end of the Steel Cable Tether around the A/V Cable.

3. Route the working end of the Steel Cable Tether back into the second hole in the Aluminum Steel Ferrule.

4. Cinch the Steel Cable Tether until it fits snugly around the A/V Cable.

Note: Do not cinch the Steel Cable Tether down all the way. Cinch the Steel Cable Tether until it is no longer possible to slip the loop over the connectors of the AV Cable.

1. Crimp the Aluminum Steel Ferrule in the appropriate fitting of a Swaging Tool. (Figure 1)

Note: It may be necessary to crimp the Aluminum Steel Ferrule a few times to create a strong and circular shaped crimp.

1. Wrap the other end of the Steel Cable Tether around the cable portion of the A/V Adapter.

2. Repeat steps 4 to 6 to secure the Connectivity Lock to the cable portion of the A/V Adapter. (Figure 2)

1. (Optional) Slide the Heat Shrink Tubing over the crimped Aluminum Ferrules.

2. (Optional) Apply heat to the Heat Shrink Tubing using a Heat Gun. Always keep the Heat Gun moving to ensure the heat is evenly distributed over the Heat Shrink Tubing. (Figure 3)

Note: Apply just enough heat to shrink the Heat Shrink Tubing. Excessive heat will melt the nylon sheath that covers the Steel Cable Tether.

Removal

- Cut both ends of the Steel Cable Tether using a Wire Cable Cutter.

Note: Ensure the cut is made close to the Aluminum Steel Ferrule to prevent any damage to the Cables.
