If your HAMA Basic S6 shredder encounters a paper jam, the unblocking procedure is simple:

Move the control switch to the OFF position to completely stop the device
Activate the reverse mode by alternating the switch between REV and ON/AUTO about three times in a row
This alternation forces the cutting rollers to reverse their rotation, which dislodges and expels the jammed paper
Check that the jam is completely cleared, then return the switch to the OFF position

Important: Never attempt to remove the paper by hand directly. The cutting rollers are dangerous to touch. Only use reverse mode to clear the paper. If the REV mode is not sufficient, wait at least 25 minutes before restarting to avoid overheating the device.
