The adjustment knob for the counter blade of the Gardol GLH-E 2540 is located on the right side of the plastic housing. It is an easily identifiable rotary knob that allows you to adjust the spacing between the counter blade and the chopping knife.

How the adjustment works: By turning the knob to the right, you bring the counter blade closer to the chopping knife. By turning to the left, you move the counter blade away. Each half turn of the knob changes the spacing by about 0.50 mm.

Optimal spacing: For the chopper to function correctly, the gap between the counter blade and the chopping knife should be about 0.50 mm. After each adjustment, check that the knife cuts properly by performing a test with appropriate material.

Adjustment procedure: Ensure that the device is completely stopped and unplugged before intervening. Locate the knob on the right side of the housing, then gradually turn it while observing the approach of the counter blade. Quarters or half turns are usually sufficient to achieve the desired adjustment.
