Frequently Asked Questions - AC-212919.1 Emerio

How do I install the air conditioner?
Connect the exhaust hose to the unit and window kit. Adjust the window kit to fit your window. Plug into a grounded outlet. For detailed steps, see the installation section of the manual.
How often should I clean the filter?
Clean the washable mesh filter every two weeks under normal use. More frequently in dusty environments. Follow the cleaning instructions in the manual.
What should I do if the unit is not cooling?
Check if the filter is dirty, the window is open, or the exhaust hose is kinked. Ensure the room is not too large for the cooling capacity. If problem persists, contact customer service.
Can I use an extension cord?
It is not recommended. Use only a grounded outlet directly. If necessary, use a heavy-duty extension cord (min. 14 AWG) with a length under 5 meters.
How does the dehumidify mode work?
In dehumidify mode, the fan runs at low speed and the compressor extracts moisture. The water is self-evaporated or collected in the internal tank. Empty the tank if the full indicator lights up.
What is the noise level?
The noise level is approximately 65 dB(A) at maximum fan speed. Lower speeds produce less noise. It is comparable to a normal conversation.
How do I use the timer function?
Press the TIMER button on the remote or control panel. Use the + and – buttons to set the desired hours (1-24). The unit will automatically turn on or off at the set time.
What does the 'E' error code mean?
Error codes vary. Common ones: E1 - room temperature sensor fault, E2 - coil sensor fault. Consult the troubleshooting section of the manual for specific codes and actions.
Is the refrigerant R290 safe?
Yes, R290 is a natural refrigerant with low environmental impact. However, it is flammable. Do not damage the refrigeration circuit. Ensure proper ventilation when servicing.
Where can I find spare parts?
Contact Emerio customer service or authorized dealers. Common spare parts include the filter, remote control, and exhaust hose. Use only original parts for safety.
