How to replace the lamp of the OPTOMA ZU506 projector?

The projector uses a laser light source, no lamp to replace. The lifespan is approximately 20,000 hours.

How to clean the air filter?

Turn off the projector and unplug it. Open the filter compartment, remove it and clean it with a vacuum cleaner or soapy water. Let it dry completely before reinstalling.

What is the maximum supported resolution?

The native resolution is WUXGA (1920x1200), but it can accept signals up to 4K UHD (3840x2160) via HDMI.

Can I use the projector wirelessly?

Yes, it supports wireless projection via an optional adapter or via Miracast (depending on model).

How to correct the image if it is distorted?

Use vertical and horizontal keystone correction in the OSD menu. You can also adjust the zoom and lens shift.

The projector does not turn on, what to do?

Check the power cable, electrical outlet and fuse. Make sure the power button is pressed long enough (about 2 seconds).

How to clean the lens?

Use a soft lint-free cloth slightly damp (deionized water) or an optics cleaning kit. Never use solvents.

What is the projection distance for a 100-inch image?

With 1.6x zoom, the distance is between 3.2 and 5.1 meters approximately. Refer to the projection table in the manual.

How to activate automatic standby mode?

Go to the 'Settings' menu > 'Power saving' > 'Auto shutdown' and choose the inactivity duration.

Contact OPTOMA customer service or an authorized reseller. Filters and the light source are available under specific reference numbers.
