How do I start hot lamination?

Plug in, press the power button (①), then press the [POUCHES] button to select the pouch thickness (75-250 microns). The unit will heat up for 4-5 minutes until the READY indicator stops flashing. Insert the pouch with the sealed end first.

What pouch thickness can I use?

The EverLAM 330LCD supports pouches from 75 to 250 microns. Select the appropriate thickness using the [POUCHES] button on the touch panel.

How to use cold lamination?

After hot lamination, allow the unit to cool for 40-60 minutes. Then press the [POUCHES] button and select the cold lamination option (indicated by a snowflake icon). Insert the document and pouch as usual.

What should I do if a document gets stuck?

Use the reverse function by pressing the REV switch to pull the document back out. If it remains stuck, contact your dealer or service team.

Can I laminate items thicker than 1 mm?

No, the maximum thickness for documents and foil together is 1 mm. Thicker items may cause jams or damage the rollers.

How do I clean the rollers?

Always unplug the unit before cleaning. Use a damp cloth to wipe the rollers after they have cooled. Do not use abrasive cleaners. For severe jams, contact service.

What is the Standby mode?

Press the STANDBY button on the touch panel to keep the heating elements at 80°C, reducing warm-up time for intermittent use. This also prevents overheating.

Why does my lamination have bubbles?

Bubbles occur if you insert the open end of the pouch first. Always insert the sealed end first. Also, ensure the document is placed with 3mm margins and use the correct thickness setting.

Can I use single-layer laminating foil?

Yes, but you must use a carrier (ask your dealer). Using single-layer foil without a carrier can make the rollers sticky and cause winding.

What safety precautions should I take?

Keep the laminator away from children, flammable materials, and moisture. Do not leave it unattended while operating. Ensure long hair and loose clothing are kept away from the rollers. Unplug when not in use or before cleaning.

Health & Safety precautions:

• Before operating the equipment please read the Health & Safety precautions, manufacturer recommendations and the operation manual.
• The operation manual should be easily available at any time for the operator.
• The equipment should be installed on sturdy and level surface near a 220-240 V, 50 Hz socket.

Danger! The equipment contains rotary elements. Ensure long hair, loose jewellery, ties and other loose pieces of clothing are keep away they can be get entangled in the rolls.

• The equipment must not be used for any other purposes than those indicated in the instruction manual.
• It is necessary to check and supervise if the equipment is operated correctly.
• In case of any malfunctions, you must contact the dealer or service team.
• The equipment must not be located outside and should be operated in a room temperature higher than +8 °C.

Manufacturer's recommendations:

• Use only recommended supplies and accessories.
• Do not put into the laminator documents thicker than 1 mm. The laminated material should always have similar properties.
• Remove the mains plug from the socket before moving the equipment or during longer none operation.

- If the equipment is switched on and is not operated for more than one hour, it can be overheated. To avoid bad quality lamination put 2 or 3 sheet of A4 paper through in order to cool the rollers down,

- Always insert the laminating pouch with the close end into the laminator first. Putting the open end first can cause bubbling and the film being stuck on the rollers inside the laminator.

- In case of a document being stuck inside the laminator, use reverse function REV switch.

- Laminating with the one layer laminating foil requires using the carrier. ASK YOUR DEALER.

- Tailor cut pouch can make the rollers sticky and dirty and wind round them use a carrier.

- Remove all metal elements (staples & paper clips, etc.) before laminating the document.

NOTE! The equipment contains heater elements, be aware high temperatures!

Operation:

1. Starting the equipment

• Plug the equipment into the power socket and turn on by pressing the ① button
• Press the[POUCHES] button on the touch panel to setup the thickness of pouch required from the range of foil thicknesses from 75 to 250 microns. The process of heating will start automatically.
• The heating time for the laminator rollers is 4-5 minutes, during this time on LCD display the flashing sign [ READY].
• When laminator is ready the [READY] sign stop flashing. The equipment is now ready to use

2. Preparing the document

- Choose correct thickness and type of pouch. Put the document into the pouch.

NOTE! It is recommended to leave approx. 3mm margins all around the document from the edge.

3. Hot lamination

• Press the [POUCHES] button on the touch panel to setup the thickness of pouch required from the range of foil thicknesses from 75 to 250 microns. The process of heating will start automatically.
• You can regulate temperature by using the “+” or “-” buttons on touch panel.
• It is recommended to make some tests before laminating important documents
• Open the flap at the back of equipment, insert the laminating pouch with the document inside it into the rollers, and remember to put the sealed end first.
• If the lamination is not good you can increase or decrease temperature using „+” or „-” buttons on touch panel
• If you do not use the laminator continually, USE the "STANDBY" button on touch panel. This function keeps temperature of heating elements at 80 °C

4. Cold lamination

• Plug the equipment into the power socket and turn on by pressing the ① button
• To set up for cold laminating press the button [POUCHES] on touch panel and set for cold lamination then on the display you will see this sign * a snow flake.
• After hot lamination wait 40-60min to cool down the equipment before you start to cold laminate.

Maintenance and service

• Before clearing the equipment, remove the power plug from the socket.
• If the pouch was entangled into the rollers or the laminator does not operate correctly contact the dealer or service team.
