Meaning of warning signs in the booklet

DANGER: Indicates an imminently hazardous situation which, if not avoided, could result in serious injury or even death. The use of this term is limited to the most extreme situations.

CAUTION: Indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if not avoided, could result in serious injury (and in extreme cases death).

WARNING: Indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if not avoided, may result in minor injuries to personnel or damage to equipment. It also alerts the user on incorrect operating modes.

Safety warnings essential before use

Carefully read the instructions contained in this manual as they contain important information about safety, installation, operation and maintenance.
Keep this manual for future reference.

For the safe use of the Juicer:
As special precautions:
- Before each use check and verify the mechanical integrity of the unit and all of its components.
The motor unit (1), and all of the components must not show any breakage or cracks.
The plug and the insulation of the electrical power cord must not show any wear or breakage.
If there is any evidence of wear or breakage in the cord, immediately disconnect the plug from the outlet and take the Juicer to your authorised reseller for the necessary inspections and repairs.

Before connecting the Juicer to an electrical power source, make sure that the line voltage rating corresponds to that found on the Juicer information tag.
- Do not leave the electrical power cord within the reach of small children.
- Before inserting the plug into the electrical power outlet in the wall, make sure that the Juicer is turned off (the ON/OFF switch in the position "O").
Have this system verified by professionally qualified personnel.
The manufacturer cannot be considered responsible for damages caused by a faulty or non-existent earth connection.
- For your safety, it is recommended that the Juicer be powered through a line with a delayed RCD breaker switch with trip current no greater than 30 mA.
- Do not run the Juicer continuously for a period exceeding 2 minutes. Alternate periods of operation with periods of pause of at least five minutes.
- Do not cover the ventilation grill in the motor unit (1) during operation.
- Never immerse the motor unit (1), the power cord or the plug in water or any other liquids.
- Do not disconnect the Juicer by pulling on the power cord to disconnect it from the wall outlet.
- Do not utilise or keep the Juicer outdoors or in the proximity of water.
• After each use of the Juicer disconnect the power cord from the electrical power source wall outlet.



The appliance may be used by children over the age of 8 or persons with reduced physical, sensory and mental faculties, or who do not have experience or the necessary knowledge, provided that under supervision or after receiving instructions on safe use of the appliance and having understood the related hazards.


Cleaning and maintenance to be carried out by the user may not be carried out by children without the supervision of an adult.

An electric appliance is not a toy. Use and store it out of reach of children; children must be supervised to make sure that they do not play with the appliance.
- Before cleaning the Juicer or carrying out any other operation on it, always disconnect the device from the power outlet.
- Pay close attention that the Juicer and its power cord are not too close to the edge of the table or the work surface and that they do not come into contact with heat sources or are not too close to a sink.
- Never operate the Juicer without having assembled it correctly.
- Never leave the Juicer unattended while it is operating
- Before using the Juicer for the first time, or after a long period in which it has not been used, carefully wash the components, except the motor unit (1) with hot water and dish-washing detergent, rinse thoroughly and dry carefully.

For domestic use only

The Citrus juicer must be inspected and verified or repaired only by an authorised reseller.
Any repair procedure performed on the Juicer by unauthorised persons automatically invalidates the guarantee.

This Juicer must be put only to the use for which it was expressly designed and manufactured, that is, juicing citrus fruit.
Any other use is considered improper and therefore hazardous.
The manufacturer cannot be considered responsible for any eventual damages derived from improper, faulty or unreasonable use of the citrus juicer.
- The packaging materials (plastic bags, foam padding, pins, etc.) must not be left in the reach of small children, as they are potentially hazardous.
- Before connecting the Juicer make sure that the information tag data corresponds to the electrical power distribution network (Mains) specifications. The tag is found on the back of the Juicer.
- In the event of incompatibility between the outlet and the plug on the Juicer power supply cord, have the plug substituted with another type that is suitable by professionally qualified personnel who will also have to verify that the wire gauge for the new plug is suitable for the power absorbed by the Juicer.
It is strongly recommended that adapters, multiple outlets and/or extensions NOT BE USED.
If their use were to be unavoidable it is then necessary to use only simple, multiple or extension adapters that conform to the safety regulations in force, paying attention to not exceed load limits.
- The use of an electrical device includes the observance of some fundamental rules.
Namely:
- Do not touch or use the device with wet or humid hands or while bare foot.
- Do not pull on the power cord or on the device itself to disconnect it from the electrical power outlet.
- Do not allow that the device be used by children or the mentally incompetent without supervision.
- In the event of malfunction and/or breakage of the device, turn it off and do not tamper with it.
For any eventual repairs only authorised resellers should be contacted.
Lack of respect for what is referred to above may compromise the safety of the device.
- If the unit is not to be used any longer and therefore disposed of, render it unusable by cutting the electrical power cord after having disconnected it from the electrical power outlet.
It is additionally recommended to render harmless any parts of the device that may constitute a hazard, particularly for children who could use the discarded device as a toy.
- Installation must be carried out according to the manufacturer's instructions.
An incorrect installation could cause damage to persons, animals or things, in the face of which the manufacturer will not be considered responsible.
- To avoid dangerous overheating, it is suggested that the entire length of the electrical power supply cord be unwound and to utilise the device as suggested in the paragraph "Warnings for Use".
- If the power supply cord of this device is damaged, it must be substituted by the authorised reseller.
Should there be problems with the appliance, contact an authorised service centres.
Avoid repairing the appliance on your own.
Any repairs carried out on the device by unauthorised personnel will automatically invalidate the warranty, even if it has not reached the expiry date.

Juicer Preparation
a1 - Place the motor unit (1) on a level, stable and dry surface. Make sure that all of the suction cup feet (1c) are correctly attached to the work surface.
a2 - Position the components as illustrated in figure "A".
a3 - Position container underneath the spout (2a).
a4 - Connect the power cord to the electrical power outlet.
Utilisation of the Juicer
b1 - Cut the fruit to be squeezed in half.
b2 - Place on half of the fruit on the cone (5) and push it down lightly to fix it in position (Fig. "B").

When pushing the fruit down on the cone (5) this latter may begin to turn.


b3 - Lower the spout (2a), making sure that the container is correctly positioned in order to collect the juice (Fig. "B").
b4 - Lower the lever (1b).
b5 - Press lightly on the lever (1b) to start up the device (Fig. "C").
Releasing the lever the device stops.
Do not push down the lever (1b) with too much force! If the motor turns too slowly or it stops this is a symptom of having exerted too much pressure. In the event of too much strain a thermal switch stops the motor to avoid it being damaged. In this case wait a few minutes before starting back to work again.
b6 - In some cases with small citrus fruit, large grapes, very cold fruit, etc.) it is recommended that the cover (6) be detached from the lever (1b) and therefore manually press the fruit down on the cone (6) (Fig. "D").
b7 - Lifting up the spout (2a) the juice does not come out of the container(2).
b8 - When finished with the juicer disconnect the plug from the electrical power supply wall outlet.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Before performing cleaning operations, always disconnect the power cord from the electrical outlet.
c1 - To clean the motor unit (1) use a damp cloth avoiding the use of abrasive detergents. The cleaning of all of the components, except the motor unit (1), may be performed with warm water and normal dish washing detergent, without using abrasive pads or sponges.

Do not wash the components in the dishwasher as they may become deformed due to the high temperatures.
c2 - After having washed and carefully dried all of the components of the Juicer, reassemble them one on top of the other (Fig. A).
c3 - Clean the motor unit (1) with a damp cloth WITHOUT EVER utilising abrasive products.

Never immerse the motor unit (1) in water or any other liquids.
Declaration of Conformity
The manufacturer declares under his own responsibility that the product referred to in this "Instruction Manual" conforms to the essential requirements of the European Community Directives which pertain to it.
A Declaration of Conformity set out in a complete manner will be furnished upon explicit request.

Disposal of the Juicer
- If it is decided to dispose of the Juicer, take it to an appropriate collection centre, observing the applicable legislative provisions (local provisions and/or details may be requested at the appropriate offices in your community).
The mark, found on the product and on its documentation, indicates that the product is not to be disposed of with other urban waste at the end of its service life cycle.
To avoid eventual environmental or health damage caused by the inappropriate disposal of waste, the end user is cordially invited to separate this product from other types of waste and recycle it in a responsible manner so as to favour the sustainable re-utilisation of the material resources.
Domestic users are invited to contact the reseller from whom the product was purchased or the appropriate local office for all of the information relative to differentiated collection and recycling of this type of product.
Corporate users are invited to contact their own provider to verify the terms and conditions of the purchase contract.
This product must not be disposed of together with other commercial refuse.

Possible Malfunctions
- In the event that there arises a problem with the operation of the Juicer contact an authorised dealer or technical customer service assistance (Tech support).
Guarantee Agreement Conditions
This Warranty does not affect your statutory rights under D. Lgs. 02/022002, n. 24. With this guarantee, the manufacturer suggests the Purchaser to address directly a Point of Sale which to comply with the restoration in a fast, safe and unquestionable quality. This Warranty is effective regardless of the evidence that the defect - resulting from manufacturing defects present at the time of purchase of the device, except as provided in paragraph "d" of this text.
a) Warranty duration: 24 months from date of purchase.
After the first 12 months of warranty, the warranty on the unit will be managed by the Stores within 12 months of legal guarantee in strict application of the provisions of Legislative Decree 02/022002, n. 24.
b) The warranty is effective: In case of a request for assistance, the warranty is valid only if you show the warranty certificate together with a document, valid receipt, showing the identification details of the seller, the product and the date on which the purchase was made.
c) Warranty extension: Repair DOES NOT stop nor change the duration of the warranty which will expire on its legal deadline.
d) Limitations of Warranty:
The warranty does not cover any damage resulting from:
- negligence, incompetence, recklessness and carelessness in use (failure to comply with the rules in this manual);
- maintenance not covered in this booklet or performed by unauthorized personnel;
- tampering or interventions to increase the power or efficacy of the product;
- incorrect installation (power supply with a voltage other than that listed on the nameplate and in this booklet);
- improper use of the appliance;
- damage due to normal wear and tear of the components, impacts, falls, transport damage.
- the guarantee does not cover the repair / replacement of parts subject to wear during normal use of the product (hooks, kneading, blades, belts, connectors ...).
e) Costs: In cases not covered by the warranty, the manufacturer reserves the right to charge the customer the cost of repair or replacement of the appliance.
f) Manufacturer's responsibility: The manufacturer is not liable for any damage that may directly or indirectly affect persons, property or pets as a consequence of failure to comply with all the requirements set out in this "Instructions for Use" booklet and concerning especially the warnings regarding installation, use and maintenance.
