Frequently Asked Questions - SimpliTrim Li FLYMO

How long does the battery last?
The runtime is up to 30 minutes depending on grass condition and cutting height. For best results, mow dry grass and keep the blade sharp.
How do I charge the battery?
Remove the battery from the mower and plug the charger into a standard wall outlet. Full charge takes approx. 3 hours. Avoid charging immediately after use; let the battery cool down first.
Can I use the mower in wet grass?
No, always mow dry grass. Using the mower on wet grass may cause clumping, reduce performance, and increase the risk of slipping or electric shock.
How do I adjust the cutting height?
The SimpliTrim Li features a 3-step central height adjustment lever. Simply move the lever to the desired position (20, 40, or 60 mm) for a well-groomed lawn.
What should I do if the blade is dull?
A dull blade tears grass instead of cutting it. For safety, always wear gloves. You can sharpen the blade with a file or replace it with a genuine Flymo spare part.
How do I clean the mower?
After each use, disconnect the battery and wipe the mower with a damp cloth. Clean the grass box and under the deck to prevent grass buildup. Do not use a pressure washer.
Why does the mower stop suddenly?
Possible reasons: battery is empty, grass jammed under the deck, or overload protection activated. Clear any obstructions, let the motor cool, and restart. If it persists, check the battery.
Is the mower suitable for small gardens?
Yes, the SimpliTrim Li is ideal for lawns up to 200 m². Its lightweight design and compact size make it easy to maneuver in tight spaces.
How do I store the mower?
Store the mower in a dry, frost-free place. Remove the battery and charge it to about 50% for long-term storage. Keep the mower out of reach of children.
Where can I find spare parts?
Genuine Flymo spare parts like blades, battery, charger, and grass box are available through the Flymo website or authorized service centers. Check your user manual for part numbers.
