What sockets is the Icewing 5 Pro compatible with?

The DeepCool Icewing 5 Pro supports Intel LGA1700, LGA1200, LGA115x and AMD AM5, AM4 sockets. Always check your motherboard compatibility before installation.

Does the cooler come with thermal paste pre-applied?

Yes, the Icewing 5 Pro includes pre-applied thermal paste on the base for convenient installation. An additional tube may also be included.

How do I install the cooler on an AMD AM5 socket?

For AMD AM5, use the included mounting bracket and backplate. Remove the stock retention clips, install the backplate, then attach the mounting brackets. Apply the cooler with even pressure.

What is the maximum TDP the Icewing 5 Pro can handle?

This cooler is rated for CPUs up to 200W TDP, making it suitable for mid-range to high-end processors under normal conditions.

Can I replace the fan with a different one?

Yes, the fan is standard 120mm size and can be replaced. However, for optimal performance and noise levels, we recommend using an original DeepCool fan.

How do I clean the Icewing 5 Pro?

Turn off and unplug your PC. Use compressed air to blow dust from the fins and fan. For stubborn dirt, gently wipe with a damp cloth. Avoid water on electrical components.

Is the cooler compatible with RGB or addressable RGB headers?

No, the Icewing 5 Pro does not have any LED lighting or RGB features. It is a non-RGB cooler.

What is the noise level of the fan at maximum speed?

At 1850 RPM, the noise level is ≤ 28.0 dBA, which is very quiet. For silent operation, use the included PWM control to adjust speed.

Does the cooler require any software to control?

No, the fan uses a standard 4-pin PWM connector that can be controlled via the motherboard BIOS or fan control software. No additional software is needed.

What tools are needed for installation?

You will need a Phillips head screwdriver to secure the backplate and mounting brackets. The cooler itself attaches without tools using the screw-knobs.

INTEL LGA775 Installation 安装步骤

Put the back plate onto the back of the motherboard and insert the flat screws through the LGA775 mounting holes.
