Frequently Asked Questions - DE130 CENTURION

How do I empty the dust container?
Press the release button to remove the container, then hold it over a trash bin and press the bottom flap to release the dust. Ensure the filter is clean before reattaching.
How often should I clean the filter?
Clean the filter every 3 months or when suction decreases. Tap it gently to remove dust, or wash with water if indicated. Let it dry completely before reuse.
The vacuum cleaner has reduced suction. What should I do?
Check if the dust container is full or if the filter is clogged. Also inspect the hose and nozzle for blockages. Clean or replace the filter as needed.
Can I use this vacuum on hard floors?
Yes, the DE130 comes with a combination nozzle suitable for both carpets and hard floors. You can also use the included dusting brush for delicate surfaces.
How do I replace the HEPA filter?
Open the filter compartment cover, remove the old filter, and insert a new one ensuring it snaps into place. Order replacement filters from Centurion support.
The vacuum overheats and shuts off. Why?
This is a safety feature. The thermal protection activates if the motor gets too hot due to a blocked hose or full dust container. Unplug, let it cool for 30 minutes, and clear any blockages.
What accessories are included with the DE130?
The package includes a crevice tool, dusting brush, and upholstery nozzle. These can be attached to the hose or wand for different cleaning tasks.
How long is the power cord?
The power cord is 6 meters long, allowing you to clean a large area without changing outlets.
Is the vacuum bagless? How does that work?
Yes, it is bagless. Dust collects in a transparent container that you can easily empty and rinse. The cyclonic action separates dirt from air to maintain suction.
How do I store the vacuum cleaner?
Wrap the cord around the cord hooks on the back of the unit. Store upright in a dry place. The accessories can be clipped onto the machine for compact storage.
