How do I connect the camera to my Wi-Fi network?

First, complete the direct connection (AP mode) as described in the manual. Then, in the app, go to Network settings, change the mode to Station mode, and select your Wi-Fi network. Enter the password and wait for the camera to emit "Wi-Fi connected".

What is the default username and password?

The default username is admin. There is no default password; you will be prompted to set one for security when you first add the device.

How do I reset the camera to factory settings?

Press and hold the RESET button (located at the bottom of the camera) until you hear a voice message: "Restore factory default settings".

Can I use the camera without an internet connection?

Yes, you can use Direct connection (AP mode) where the camera creates its own Wi-Fi network. However, remote monitoring and cloud features require internet access.

How do I set up motion detection alerts?

In the app, go to the device settings and select Alarm setting. You can enable All day alarm or Customize time, and adjust Alarm Area. Make sure Alarm notification is enabled to receive push alerts.

What is the maximum micro SD card size supported?

The camera supports micro SD cards up to 64 GB.

How do I view recorded videos?

To view photos and videos stored on your mobile device, go to the app's Photo section. For files on the micro SD card, use Video playback in the app.

Can I mount the camera on a wall?

Yes, the camera can be mounted. The manual includes installation steps with images. Typically, you use the provided base and screws to attach it to a wall or ceiling.

How do I change the camera password?

In the app, select the device and go to More or settings. Look for Software password or an option to modify the device password. You can also set a password during initial setup.

What should I do if the camera does not connect?

Ensure the camera is powered on and in pairing mode (hear "Access Point Established"). Check that your mobile device is connected to the camera's Wi-Fi network (MV prefix). If issues persist, reset the camera and try again.

BEFORE TO USE

Insert a micro SD memory to storage videos and photos.

Connect the power cord into the camera and the converter into an outlet. The camera will emit some voice messages while the connection is ready.

This message means that the camera is ready to pairing.

If you not can hear the voice message, press and hold the restart button until the camera emits the

next message: "Restore factory default settings".

APP INSTALLATION

To manage and monitoring the camera working, you must install the app.

Enter to the apps store of your mobile device (Android/iOS), and download V380S.

The showed images corresponding to a device with Android 7.0 and V380S (5.2) app. The icons, the interface and the functions may vary according with the app version and OS used.

OPTIONS CONNECTION

The camera have 2 ways to pairing with the mobile device. Choose a connection option and refer the corresponding section of this manual.

Option 1: Direct connection

The camera generate their own network to connect the mobile device.

The camera and the mobile device are connect in the network of the modem.

OPTION 1: DIRECT CONNECTION

1. In the mobile device, enter to Wi-Fi options settings, and select the network with the "MV" prefix and the camera ID number. Example: MV34548766

1. Enter to app (V380S), select the region (North America), and press + to add a new device.

1. Enter the camera ID (located in the bottom of the camera). Select Add to the list.

1. Wait until the connection is established. In the screen will show the paired device with their setting options and, also the app submenus.

For security reasons, it's recommended set a password for your device.

OPTION 2: WI-FI CONNECTION

For this type of connection, is necessary to make the process of direct connection.

1. In the main menu, enter to 🎨 submenu.

2. Choose.

1. Change to the type connection to Station mode. Choose the Wi-Fi network where you want to connect the camera. Enter the password.

The camera will emit two message.

1. Exit to the app and enter again.

MONITORING

In the main screen press ▶ to preview in real time.

Remote monitoring

Once stabilized the connection between the mobile and the device, when you are out of the local network, ensure that the smartphone have internet connection.

1. Open the app and wait a few seconds until the camera appears online.
2. Select it to visualizing.

When the camera detects movement will send a notification in your mobile device. Activate or deactivate the notifications as shown below:

1. In the main screen enter to submenu ⚙ (More functions) and select App Notification.

FILES PREVIEW

To can see the photos and videos from the app, enter to (More)submenu and going to Photo. This files are storage in the mobile device.

If you want to see the stored files in the micro SD, enter to submenu Video playback.
