The hair clipper is intended to be used to cut and trim hair and beards. Do not use it to cut artificial materials.
Child safety
Children cannot be expected to understand the risks involved in using electrical appliances and should therefore not be allowed to use the product. There is serious risk cutting yourself on the sharp scissors.
Small parts can be very dangerous if swallowed. For this reason, store the appliance and its accessories out of the reach of children.
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
Electrical safety
- Clean the scissor part by rinsing in running water. Do not immerse the actual hair clipper in water.
- To avoid electric shock, do not allow the power cord or mains adapter to come into contact with water or any other liquids. Do not use the hair clipper, for example, at a sink full of water or in the bath. Unplug the power cord immediately if the hair clipper or charger comes into contact with water.
- Unplug the power cord if you are not thinking of using the hair clipper for a long time, if there are any problems with the hair clipper when using it, during thunder storms, and when cleaning.
- Never use the appliance if the clipper unit, power cord or mains adapter are damaged.
- Never try to open the appliance. The appliance, power cord and mains adapter must only be repaired by an authorised service centre. Repairs that are not carried out correctly can lead to a risk of serious personal injury and/or death.
- Only use the supplied mains adapter, or an adapter with the same technical properties. Otherwise the appliance can be damaged.
- The mains adapter must only be connected to a 220–240 V, 50 Hz power outlet, installed by an authorised electrician.
Other risks
- The appliance contains a double, rechargeable battery. The battery must not be taken apart, exposed to fire, or short circuited.
- Do not use the appliance with an accessory that is damaged. The scissors are very sharp. Always be very careful when using the appliance without an attachment.
Risk of personal injury. NOTE: Risk of damaging the hair clipper.
- Only use original accessories.
- Never try to sharpen the scissors yourself.
- Do not cut artificial materials with the appliance.
- The appliance must not be exposed to temperatures below -10^ or over +40^ for long periods.

USE
Charging
The hair clipper battery should be charged to full capacity before using the appliance for the first time.
- Push down the power switch.
- Plug mains adapter cord into the outlet on the appliance.
- Plug the mains adapter into a suitable power outlet.
The status lamp goes on when the battery is charging.

The battery does not have its fully capacity initially. Do as follows to obtain optimum charging capacity:
- Charge the battery to full capacity before using the appliance for the first time, and then use the hair clipper until the battery is completely discharged.
- Charge the battery to full capacity again. The useful life of batteries will increase if this charging and discharging process in repeated a few times a year.
Using the appliance if the batteries are not charged.
The appliance can also be supplied with power directly from the mains (via the mains adapter).
- Connect the appliance in accordance with the instruction in the "Charging" section.
- Unplug the mains adapter after use.
Tips
This function ensures even cutting for hair that is not equally thick.
Spacer comb
With the help of a spacer comb you can cut hair to an even length of 3–15 mm. Set the required length by pressing down the selector on the spacer comb and moving it either up or down.
The scale on the appliance shows which length has been set.

- Remove the attachment.
- Stroke the scissor part along the skin without pressing.
MAINTENANCE
- Remove the comb attachment.
- Press the scissor part backwards and remove.
- Brush clean the scissors.
- Fit the scissor part in the slot on the casing and replace the scissors.
- Press the scissor part in the casing until it snaps in place with a click.
- Waterproof design for use in the shower and simple cleaning.

The scissor head should be regularly lubricated, after a few cuttings. Use a light oil, such as sewing machine oil.
- Remove the comb attachment.
- Drip one to two drops of oil between the teeth on the scissors.
- Switch on the hair clipper for a short while to spread the oil and then switch off again.
- Wipe off surplus oil with a cloth.
- Changing the scissors.
- Only use original accessories. All accessories, such as scissor parts, mains adapters and comb attachments are available from your dealer. Never try to sharpen the scissors yourself. Switch off the appliance.
- Replace the scissors according to the instructions in the Cleaning section.
