Safety is at the forefront of design and manufacturing throughout the process of all Baccarat® products. It is essential that the product user exercise care when using a Baccarat® electrical appliance. Please adhere to the following precautions which are essential for the safe use of an electrical appliance:

Safety precautions for the Baccarat® Healthy Fry Compact.

- Operate with care when using the appliance on surfaces that may be damaged by heat as the surface under the appliance may become hot during use. Sit appliance upright on a firm, stable, level, dry, heat resistant surface. The use of a heat resistant pad is recommended, be aware that not all bench tops are considered as heat resistant surfaces.

  • Do not place the appliance against a wall or against other appliances. Leave minimum 20cm free space at the back, sides and above the appliance
  • Do not let any water or other liquid enter the appliance to prevent electric shock. • Always put ingredients to be fried on the tray, to prevent contact with the heating elements.
  • Do not cover the air inlet and the air exhaust vents while the appliance is operating.
  • Do not fill the frying drawer with oil as this may cause a fire hazard.
  • Never touch the inside of the appliance while it is operating. The drawers and tray become extremely hot during the cooking process. Avoid physical contact while removing the drawer or tray from the appliance. Always place the drawer or tray on a heat-resistant surface after removing.
  • Do not touch the accessories during or immediately after cooking.
  • Do not plug in the appliance or operate the control panel with wet hands.
  • Keep hands and face at a safe distance as hot steam is released through the air exhaust openings during use.
  • Be careful of hot steam and hot air when you remove the frying drawer from the appliance.
  • If dark smoke is emitted from the appliance, immediately unplug it at the wall. Wait for smoke emission to stop, then remove the frying drawer from the appliance.
  • Let the appliance cool down for at least 30 minutes before you handle or clean it.
  • Remove any burnt remnants after each use.
  • Ensure the removable drawer is clean and dry before placing it into the appliance.
  • Do not move the appliance when in use.
  • Do not use the appliance without the removable drawer installed.
  • Do not use this appliance for deep-frying.
  • Avoid physical contact while removing the drawer or tray from the appliance.

  • This appliance can be used by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should always be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
  • Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years old. To eliminate a choking hazard for young children, remove and safely discard the protective cover fitted to the power plug of this appliance. Always turn the power off at the power outlet before you insert or remove a plug. Remove by grasping the plug - do not pull on the cord.
  • Turn the power off and remove the plug when the appliance is not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before cleaning.

Operating Instructions Before First Use

  • Remove all the packaging materials and safely discard.
  • Remove any surface stickers or labels from the appliance and discard.
  • Wash and thoroughly dry all components. Refer to 'Care Guide' for cleaning.

Cooking Use

  1. Place the appliance on a stable, dry and heat-resistant levelled surface.
  2. Do not put anything on top of the appliance. This disrupts the airflow and affects the air frying result.
  3. Place the ceramic non-stick frying tray into the ceramic non-stick frying drawer. • Do not fill the ceramic non-stick drawer with oil or any other liquid.
  4. Put the ingredients into the ceramic non-stick frying drawer on top of the frying tray and place drawer into the appliance.
  5. Note: Carefully align with the guides in the body of the air fryer.
  6. Plug the appliance in at the wall socket, it will beep and display will illuminate for 1 second and then will go into standby mode: ⏻ will be illuminated red.
  7. To operate, press ⏻ the control screen will illuminate and default temperature/time of 200°C/15mins will alternately flash on the control panel.

Baccarat®

  1. Adjust the air frying time freely by pressing the (Time/Temp Change) icon first to display the default time on the control panel, use the + (increase) or - (decrease) icons to amend to the desired cooking time. • The time control range is 1 to 60 mins, the +/- controls icons will increase or reduce by 1 minute segments.
  2. Adjust the air frying temperature by pressing the (Time/Temp Change) icon a second time to display the default temperature on the control panel, use the + (increase) or - (decrease) icons to amend to the desired temperature. • The temperature control range is 80-200°C, the +/- control icons will increase or reduce by 5°C segments.
  3. Alternatively, choose a menu function to cook different food. Select the (Menu) icon to flicker through the menu options until desired menu function is displayed on the control panel, Press (Start/Pause) to start the selected menu option. • Every menu option has a default time and temperature (as shown on the table). Freely adjust the time and temperature by following steps 6-7. If required.
  4. To pause, press (Start/Pause), the appliance will beep and fans will slow down to a complete stop. Press (Start/Pause) to resume function. • To cancel the function, Hold the (Power) icon, the function will cancel and appliance will be in standby mode.
  5. Some ingredients require shaking halfway through the cooking cycle (see Quick Cooking Guide). To shake the ingredients, pull the ceramic non-stick frying drawer out of the appliance and shake it. The control panel will display "Out" to indicate the drawer is out of the appliance. Then slide drawer back into the appliance to resume air frying.
  6. When the cooking cycle is finished, the appliance will beep and display "End" on the control panel and the motor continues to work for approx. 15 seconds to cool the appliance down before entering standby mode. Pull out the ceramic non-stick frying drawer and place it on heat-resistant surface.
  7. Check if the ingredients are ready and reached desired cooking results. • If the ingredients are not ready, simply slide the ceramic non-stick frying drawer back into the appliance and cook for extra time. • Do not turn the drawer upside down to remove ingredients, as any excess oil that has collected at the bottom will spill out and leak over the ingredients. CAUTION: After air frying, the drawer and the ingredients are hot. Depending on the type of ingredients in the air fryer, steam may escape from the appliance, keep face and hands a safe distance away from the air fryer.
  8. Empty the ceramic non-stick frying drawer into a bowl or onto a plate.
  9. Tip: To remove large or fragile ingredients, use a pair of tongs to lift the ingredients out of the basket.
  10. The air fryer is instantly ready for preparing another batch, or if cooking is completed, allow appliance to cool down for before cleaning.

Note:

  • When using the appliance for the first time, a slight smoke or odour may be emitted. This is normal and will diminish.
  • Ensure that there is sufficient ventilation around the appliance.
  • During cooking cycle, to add more food, check the cooking process, or shake contents, simply pull out the ceramic non-stick frying drawer.
  • The appliance will automatically pause and then resume working once the ceramic non-stick frying drawer is securely in place.

Baccarat®

  • If power is cut from appliance during cooking, once power is restored, it will continue from the current function setting.
  • Rapid air technology instantly rohoats the air inside the appliance, pulling the ceramic non-stick drying drawer briefly out (with extreme caution due to hot air) to shake or check the ingredients will not affect the cooking process.

Tips & Tricks:

  • Smaller ingredients usually require a slightly shorter cooking time than larger ingredients.
  • Shaking smaller ingredients halfway through the cooking time will optimize the cooking results and can help prevent unevenly air-fried ingredients.

  • Coat fresh potatoes with a little oil for a crispy result. Fry your ingredients in the air fryer within a few minutes after you have added oil.
  • Do not prepare extremely greasy ingredients such as sausages, fatty hamburgers & rissoles in the air fryer.
  • The optimal amount for cooking crispy fries is 500g.
  • You can reheat ingredients by setting the temperature to 150°C for 10 minutes.

Troubleshooting

Care Guide

  • Always switch off, unplug, and dismantle before cleaning.
  • Never put the appliance, plug, or cord in water or allow the cord or plug to get wet.
  • Do not wash parts in the dishwasher.
  • Allow the appliance and parts to cool down before cleaning.
  • Do not clean with scouring powders, steel wool pads, or other abrasive materials.
  • Wipe the exterior of the appliance with a clean damp cloth and allow to dry.
  • Wash the cooking drawer and the frying tray with warm soapy water and rinse well.

Once dry, replace into the appliance. Tip: If food residue or fragments are stuck to the tray or the bottom of the drawer, fill the drawer with hot water with neutral dishwashing liquid, and let the drawer with the tray soak for approximately 10 minutes.

Clean the heating element with a brush to remove any food residues.

Ingredients

  • 6 corn tortillas
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp ground cumin
  • 2 tsp flaked sea salt
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • Guacamole, to serve

Method

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 200°C.
  2. Stack the tortillas into a pile on your work surface and cut them in half, then cut each half into thirds so you have 36 triangle tortillas.
  3. Combine the paprika, garlic, cumin, salt and oil in a large bowl and mix well to combine. Add the tortilla triangles and toss well to coat.
  4. Arrange half of the tortillas evenly around the base of the air fryer and select the (FRIES) function. Adjust the cooking time to 6 minutes, and cook, shaking the air fryer drawer at the halfway mark, until golden and crispy. Set the chips aside on a wire rack to cool, then repeat with the remaining batch. Serve with guacamole and enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 500g butternut pumpkin, peeled and deseeded
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp tapioca flour
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp flaked sea salt
  • 1 cup finely grated parmesan

Method

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 200°C.
  2. Slice the pumpkin into even 1cm batons and set aside.
  3. Combine the olive oil, tapioca, paprika, garlic and salt in a large bowl and mix well to combine.
  4. Add the pumpkin batons to the bowl and toss well to coat.
  5. Place the finely grated parmesan into a bowl and then toss the batons, one at a time, through the parmesan to coat thoroughly.
  6. Arrange the batons evenly into the base of the air fryer and select the (FRIES) function. Cook for 20 minutes, turning the fries over at the halfway mark, or until golden and crispy. Serve alongside your favourite dipping sauce and enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1kg pork belly, rind removed
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 2 tbsp dark soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp Chinese rice wine
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp five spice powder
  • Freshly steamed rice, to serve
  • Spring onion, thinly sliced, to serve

Method

  1. Dice the pork belly into 3cm cubes and set aside.
  2. Place all remaining ingredients in a large bowl and mix well to combine. Remove 2 tbsp of marinade and set aside for basting. Add the pork belly to the bowl, toss well to coat, then set aside for 30 minutes to marinate.
  3. Meanwhile, preheat the air fryer to 180°C. Arrange the pork belly evenly around the base of the air fryer and select the MEAT function.
  4. Adjust the cooking time to 20 minutes, then baste the pork belly bites at 5-minute intervals using the reserved marinade. Serve the sweet, caramelised pork bites over freshly steamed rice and garnish with spring onion.

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 600g skinless chicken thighs
  • Olive oil spray
  • ½ cup kewpie mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp sweet chilli sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • Freshly steamed rice, to serve
  • Spring onion, thinly sliced, to serve

Method

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 180°C.
  2. Place the paprika, onion powder and sugar in a large bowl and set aside.
  3. Lightly score the chicken thighs into a

criss-cross pattern being careful not to cut all the way through. Add the chicken to the spice mixture and toss well to coat.

  1. Arrange the chicken thighs evenly around the base of the air fryer and spray generously with olive oil spray. Select the MEAT function and adjust the cooking time to 20 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, combine the kewpie, sweet chilli and honey in a small bowl. After 10 minutes of cooking, open the air fryer drawer and brush the cooked chicken liberally with the kewpie marinade. Perfectly Soft Boiled Eggs

Ingredients

- 4 large eggs, room temperature*

- Hot buttered toast, to serve

Method

  1. Carefully place the eggs into the base of the air fryer. Select the Q(CHICKEN) function, then adjust the temperature to 120°C and cook for 10 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, fill a medium-sized bowl with ice and top with cold tap water.
  3. Carefully remove the cooked eggs using tongs and place in the iced water for 3 minutes.
  4. Peel the eggs and serve with hot, buttered toast. Enjoy!

*Cold eggs from the fridge will need to be cooked for a further 2 minutes

Crispy Sesame Chicken

Ingredients

- 600g skinless chicken thighs, diced into

2cm cubes

- 2 tbsp rice vinegar, separated

- 2 tbsp soy sauce, separated

- 1 tsp minced fresh ginger

- 1 garlic clove, minced

- 1 cup cornflour

- Olive oil spray

- 1 tbsp brown sugar

- 1 tbsp sesame seeds

- 1 tsp sesame oil

- Freshly steamed rice, to serve

- Spring onion, thinly sliced, to serve

Method

  1. Place the chicken in a large bowl along with 1 tbsp of vinegar, 1 tbsp of soy sauce, ginger and garlic. Mix well to combine, then set aside for 30 minutes to marinate.
  2. Meanwhile, preheat the air fryer to 200°C.
  3. Place the cornflour into a large bowl and add half of the marinated chicken, tossing well to coat.
  4. Arrange the chicken evenly around the base of the air fryer and spray generously with olive oil spray. Select the Q(CHICKEN) function and adjust the cooking time to 10 minutes, shaking the basket at the halfway mark. Set the chicken aside then repeat with the remaining chicken.
  5. Meanwhile, make the sauce by combining the remaining vinegar, soy, brown sugar, sesame seeds and sesame oil in a large bowl and mix well to combine. Add the cooked chicken and toss well to coat.
  6. Return the coated chicken to the air fryer and cook, using the same setting, for a further 5 minutes, or until golden and caramelised. Serve the crispy sesame chicken over freshly steamed rice and garnished with spring onion. Enjoy!

Fried Rice

Ingredients

  • 450g packet microwave rice
  • 1 cup BBQ chicken, shredded
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce, plus extra to serve
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 3 spring onions, finely sliced
  • 3/4 cup frozen peas
  • 2 tsp freshly minced ginger 2 tbsp water
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • Flaked sea salt, to taste

Method

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 180°C.
  2. Combine all ingredients except the egg in a large bowl and mix well to combine.
  3. Transfer the rice mixture to the base of the air fryer and select the SHRIMP function. Cook for 20 minutes, stirring with a silicone spatula every 5 minutes. At the halfway mark, pour the egg over the rice then close the drawer and continue to cook. Serve with a drizzle of oyster sauce and enjoy!

Prawn Spring Rolls

Ingredients

  • 300g raw peeled prawns, finely chopped
  • 2 spring onions, finely sliced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 5 spring roll wrappers
  • Olive oil spray

Method

  1. Combine the prawns, spring onion, garlic, egg white, soy and sesame oil in a medium-sized bowl and mix well to combine.
  2. Place the spring roll wrappers in a pile on your work surface with a corner pointed toward you. Slice the wrappers in half from one point to another, leaving you with 10 triangles. Lay the wrappers out on your work surface, with the long edges facing you.
  3. Meanwhile, preheat the air fryer to 180°C
  4. Place spoonsfuls of the prawn mixture in a 10cm long shape closest to you, then brush the perimeters lightly with water. Fold the two corners to the middle so the points touch, then roll the wrapper away from you to enclose. Set aside and repeat.
  5. Place the spring rolls into the base of the air fryer and spray generously with olive oil spray. Select the (SHRIMP) function and cook for 10 minutes, shaking the basket at the halfway mark, until golden brown and crispy. Serve with your favourite Asian-inspired dipping sauce and enjoy!

Crispy Cabbage Wedges

Ingredients

  • ½ (400g) green cabbage
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp white wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp sweet paprika
  • Flaked sea salt, to taste

Method

  1. Slice the cabbage into 4 even wedges then set aside on a tray.
  2. Combine all remaining ingredients in a small bowl and mix well to combine.
  3. Meanwhile, preheat the air fryer to 180°C.
  4. Brush the marinade all over the cabbage then transfer to the base of the air fryer. Select the STEAK function and cook for 12 minutes or until crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. Enjoy!

Beef Empanadas

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 small brown onion, finely diced
  • 1 small red capsicum, finely diced
  • 400g lean beef mince
  • 1 tbsp ground cumin
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • ½ cup chicken stock
  • 3 sheets of puff pastry
  • Flaked salt and pepper, to taste
  • Olive oil spray

Method

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the onion and capsicum and cook, stirring, for 5 minutes until softened. Add the beef, cumin and paprika and continue to cook for 10 minutes or until well browned. Add the chicken stock and cook, stirring occasionally until the liquid has evaporated. Transfer the beef mixture to a bowl, season to taste and refrigerate until cool.
  2. Preheat the air fryer to 180°C.
  3. Cut four 10cm rounds out of each puff pastry sheet. Place 2 tbsp of the beef filling into the centre of each round. Dampen the edges with water and fold each round in half, pinching the edges to seal. Repeat with the remaining pastry rounds.
  4. Arrange half of the empanadas evenly around the base of the air fryer and spray lightly with olive oil spray. Select the (STEAK) function and cook for 20 minutes, rotating at the halfway mark, or until golden brown. Repeat with the remaining batch then transfer the empanadas to a serving platter and enjoy!

Crispy Pumpkin Nachos

Ingredients

  • 400g butternut pumpkin, peeled and deseeded
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbsp tapioca flour
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 2 tsp flaked sea salt
  • 2 tbsp nacho salsa
  • ¼ cup grated cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup sour cream

Method

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 200°C.
  2. Slice the pumpkin into even 5 mm slices, then cut each slice into corn chip-size shapes and set aside.
  3. Place the olive oil, tapioca, paprika and salt into a large bowl and mix well to combine.
  4. Add the pumpkin to the bowl and toss well to coat.
  5. Arrange the pumpkin triangles evenly into the base of the air fryer. Select the (VEGETABLES) function and cook for 20 minutes, turning at the halfway mark.
  6. Remove the pumpkin chips from the air fryer and line the base with a piece of aluminium foil. Return the chips to the air fryer, top with dollops of salsa and sprinkle with cheese. Cook for a further 5 minutes or until the cheese has melted.
  7. Transfer the nachos to a serving platter using the foil liner. Top with sour cream and serve immediately. Enjoy!

Creamy Roasted Tomato Soup

  • 6 large tomatoes, halved
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 2 shallots, peeled and halved
  • 2 sprigs basil
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • Flaked sea salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup hot chicken stock
  • 2 tbsp cream, to serve

Method

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 180°C.
  2. Place the tomatoes, cut side up, into the base of the air fryer. Add the garlic, shallots and 1 sprig of basil. Drizzle over the olive oil, season to taste, then select the (VEGETABLE) function. Cook for 30 minutes or until the tomatoes have collapsed and have started to brown.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a blender, add the remaining sprig of basil and the hot stock and blend until smooth. Season to taste then divide the soup between two serving bowls, drizzle with cream and serve with toasted cheese sandwiches for dipping. Enjoy!

  • 1 tbsp Chinese rice wine
  • 1 tbsp mirin

  • 2 spring onions, finely sliced
  • Freshly steamed rice, to serve

Method

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 180°C.
  2. Place the miso, rice wine, mirin, soy and sesame oil in a large bowl and whisk well to combine. Add the salmon and toss gently to coat.
  3. Place the salmon, evenly spaced, into the base of the air fryer and spray lightly with olive oil spray. Select the (FISH) function and cook for 10 minutes or until golden brown and caramelised. Serve over freshly steamed rice, garnished with spring onions. Enjoy!

Salt and Pepper Squid

Ingredients

  • 600g cleaned squid tubes
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 tbsp flaked sea salt
  • 2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 2 tsp ground Sichuan pepper
  • 3/4 cup cornflour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • Olive oil spray
  • 3 long red chillies, thinly sliced
  • 2 spring onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 lemon, cut into wedges
  • Kewpie mayonnaise, to serve

Method

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 180°C.
  2. Slice the squid tubes in half then open out and pat dry. Lightly score the tubes into a criss-cross pattern, being careful not to cut all the way through. Slice each tube into bite-size pieces then place in a medium-sized bowl along with the egg and toss well to coat.
  3. Place the salt, peppers, cornflour and baking powder in a second bowl and mix well to combine.
  4. Toss half the squid through the spice mixture then place into the base of the air fryer and spray generously with olive oil spray. Select the (FISH) function and cook for 6 minutes, turning halfway through, or until golden and crispy. Transfer to a tray and cover with foil to keep warm. Repeat with the remaining squid.
  5. Place all of the crispy squid into the air fryer along with the chilli and spring onion and cook for a further 2 minutes. Serve immediately with a squeeze of lemon juice and a dollop of kewpie and enjoy!

Chocolate Meringues

Makes: 4 Prep: 20 minutes (+ 1hr cooling) Cook: 1 hour

Ingredients

  • 2 large egg whites
  • 110g (7/5 cup) caster sugar
  • Pinch of cream of tartar
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • 25g good-quality dark chocolate, melted and cooled
  • Lightly whipped cream, to serve

Method

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 120°C.
  2. Place the egg whites, sugar, cream of tartar and salt in the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with a whisk attachment. Whisk on high for 20 minutes or until the mixture is thick and glossy and the sugar is fully dissolved.
  3. Pour the chocolate over the meringue mixture then gently fold the mixture twice to incorporate.
  4. Use two large spoons to scoop and shape 4 meringues into the base of the air fryer basket. Select the (CAKE) function and adjust the temperature to 120°C. Cook for 1 hour or until dry to the touch. Turn off the air fryer then leave the meringues for 1 hour or until cooled completely. Serve with a dollop of cream and enjoy!

Churros

Function

Makes: 6

Prep: 20 minutes (+ 30 min chilling)

Cook: 30 minutes

Ingredients

  • ½ cup (80g) butter
  • ½ cup caster sugar, separated
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • 1 cup plain flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Olive oil spray
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • Nutella, to serve

Method

  1. Place the butter, 1 tbsp of the sugar, salt and 1 cup of water into a medium saucepan. Place over medium-high heat and bring to a boil.
  2. Reduce the heat to medium, add the flour and stir vigorously until the dough comes together and is nice and smooth. Continue cooking and stirring for a further two minutes.
  3. Transfer the dough to the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with a paddle attachment and beat for 5 minutes to remove most of the heat.
  4. Add the eggs and vanilla to the bowl of the stand mixer and continue to mix for 5 minutes or until the eggs are fully incorporated and the dough is smooth. Transfer the mixture to a piping bag fitted with a large star-shaped nozzle.
  5. Line a baking tray with baking paper and pipe 10 cm lengths of dough, cutting the ends with scissors. Transfer the tray to the freezer for 30 minutes to firm up.
  6. Meanwhile, preheat the air fryer to 190°C then place the remaining sugar and cinnamon in a large bowl and set aside.
  7. Place half of the churros into the base of the air fryer and spray lightly with olive oil spray. Select the 🍎 (CAKE) function, adjust the temperature to 190°C and cook for 10 minutes or until golden brown. Toss the hot churros through the cinnamon-sugar then set aside and repeat with the remaining frozen dough.
  8. Serve the churros with Nutella for dipping and enjoy!

The "12 Month Guarantee" constitutes a warranty that the product is free from defects in workmanship, manufacture and materials, or abnormal deterioration when used in accordance with our "Care and Use Instructions" as contained in this Manual and normal domestic use during the Warranty Period.

What it does not Cover:

To the extent permitted by applicable laws, the 12 Month Guarantee does not cover defects or faults caused to the product by:

- Misuse or a failure to use in accordance with our "Care and Use Instructions", such as improper use and cleaning, neglect, modification, fire or flood, theft or commercial use, or normal wear and tear;

- Defects or damages caused by accessories, replacement parts or repair services other than those that have been authorised by Baccarat or the importer, or

- Cosmetic damages that do not impair the function of the product (examples include but are not limited to scratches, water marks, cracks, dents, stains or discolouration to surfaces).

Warranty Period

The "12 Month Guarantee" starts from the date of purchase by the original end user and continues for twelve (12) months from this date (Warranty Period).

Replacement of the product or a part of the product does not extend or restart the Warranty Period.

How to Claim:

To make a claim under the 12 Month Guarantee for a defective product, please cease using the product and contact the importers customer service team for assessment

(see contact details at the end of this warranty). You may also present the item at the place of purchase with proof of purchase for an assessment but your claim may be deferred to the importer for further assessment.

In order to make a claim under this Warranty, you will need your original proof of purchase and to provide an explanation as to the nature of the defect. You will need to provide your product model number and batch code.

This can be found on a sticker and is typically located underneath or on the back of the product. Once we have this information and the details of the problem with your product, we will be able to advise you of next steps required to process your Warranty claim.

You must not Dispose of any Defective Product:

We may need you to send it back to us. If so, we will give you full details of how to prepare it for shipping and how to return it to us free of charge (see under heading 'The costs of claiming' below). You must make a claim or present the item with proof of purchase (as applicable) during the Warranty Period.

What Happens if you make a Claim:

If your claim is assessed to be valid, the product will be repaired or replaced by an alternative product. Any decision as to whether to repair or replace a product is to be made by the importer in its absolute discretion.

If an identical replacement product is not available, the retailer or the importer may replace your product with a new product with equivalent features and specifications as determined by the retailer or the importer where the retail price of the replacement does not exceed the original

purchase price paid for the product. Once any product or part has been replaced, the original product or part becomes our property.

The Costs of Claiming:

There is no cost to you for making a claim for a defective product and receiving a replacement or repaired product.

We will be responsible for all shipping costs for the claims under this Warranty which are assessed by the Importer as valid. However, we may arrange with you to pick up the replacement or repaired product directly from our business address in certain circumstances.

The product will be at your risk whilst in transit between you and the relevant retailer.

Your Statutory Rights:

The purchaser who is a consumer has statutory rights in relation to this product and this Warranty does not affect those statutory rights. Nothing in this Warranty restricts or affects any of the guarantees, rights or remedies given to you under any other relevant law.

New Zealand - Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the New Zealand consumer law. You are entitled to your available rights and remedies under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

Australia - Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
