Frequently Asked Questions - ARF45W Khind

How do I use the Khind ARF45W deep fryer?
Fill the inner pot with oil up to the MAX line (approx. 2.5L). Set the desired temperature using the adjustable thermostat (150-190°C). Wait for the ready indicator. Place food in the basket and lower into oil. Fry until golden brown. Lift basket and allow excess oil to drain.
What type of oil is recommended?
Use high smoke point oils like canola, peanut, sunflower, or vegetable oil. Avoid olive oil or butter as they burn easily.
How much oil should I put in the fryer?
Fill oil to the marked MAX line inside the non-stick pot. Do not exceed this level. Typically, it requires about 2.5 liters.
Can I fry frozen foods?
Yes, but pat dry excess ice to reduce splatter. Lower basket slowly. Caution: Frozen foods may cause oil to bubble more.
How do I clean the ARF45W?
Unplug and let oil cool completely. Remove the pot and basket. Wash with warm soapy water or place in dishwasher (top rack). Wipe exterior with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the base in water.
What is the maximum temperature setting?
The adjustable thermostat allows a maximum temperature of 190°C. This is suitable for most frying needs.
Is it safe to leave the fryer unattended?
No, always monitor the fryer during use. It has overheat protection and automatic shut-off, but unattended operation is not recommended.
How should I store the deep fryer?
After cleaning, dry all parts completely. Store with the cord wrapped in the cord storage compartment. Keep in a dry, cool place. Do not place heavy items on top.
What do the indicator lights mean?
The Power light turns on when plugged in. The Ready light indicates oil has reached the set temperature. It cycles on/off to maintain temperature.
Can I adjust the temperature while frying?
Yes, turn the thermostat dial to your desired temperature at any time. The ready indicator will cycle accordingly.
