Carefully read the instructions in this manual as they provide important information for safe installation, use and maintenance.
Keep this booklet for future reference

- The packaging elements (plastic bags, expanded polystyrene, etc.) must not be left within the reach of children as they are potentially dangerous.
Carefully read these instructions before using the appliance.
- Only use this appliance for the uses for which it has been intended, as described in this manual. The warnings and important safety instructions indicated in this manual don't cover all the possible conditions and situations that could occur.
Is the user's responsibility to use the appliance with common sense, paying the maximum attention and care during installation, maintenance and functioning phases.

Warnings for use
For a safe use of the appliance:
- Before each use check and verify the mechanical integrity of the appliance and all of its components.
The appliance body, the bowl, the hooks, the whisk and each important part of the appliance must not show any wear or breakage.
The sheath and the motor body power cord plug must not show any wear or breakage.
If there is any evidence of wear or breakage, immediately disconnect the plug from the outlet and take the appliance to an authorised reseller for the necessary checks.

Before electrically connecting the appliance, make sure that the mains voltage corresponds to what is indicated on the appliance nameplate.
- The packaging materials (plastic bags, polystyrene boxes, etc.) must not be left within reach of children as potential sources of danger.
- The electrical safety of the motor unit is guaranteed only when it is connected to an efficient earth connection system as indicated by the safety regulations in force.
Have this system verified by professionally qualified personnel.
The manufacturer cannot be considered responsible for damages caused by a faulty or non-existent earth connection.
- For your safety, it is recommended that the appliance is powered through a line with a delayed RCD breaker switch with trip current no greater than 30 mA.
- Never immerse the appliance body, the power cord and the plug in water or in other liquids.
- Place the appliance on a horizontal and stable plane whose surface is not delicate (for example lacquered furniture, tablecloths, etc.).
Make sure the appliance is safely positioned.
- Do not obstruct the heat elimination grids during the appliance functioning.

This appliance can be used by children of 8 years of age or more and by people with reduced physical, sensory or mental faculties as well as people without the necessary experience or knowledge of it ONLY if monitored by someone responsible for their safety or if they've been educated about the safe use of the appliance and if they are aware of the risks originating from an improper use.


Children should not use the device as a toy and should neither clean nor use the device themselves unless they are aged 8 years and above and assisted by an adult.


Keep children under 8 years away from the device and the power cord.
- Before cleaning the appliance or carrying out any other operation on it, always disconnect the plug from the power outlet.
- Pay close attention that the appliance and its power cord are not too close to the edge of the table or the work surface and that they do not come into contact with heat sources or are not too close to a sink.

Make sure that the power cord doesn't protrude from the bearing plane in order to prevent someone from, even inadvertently, pulling it toppling the appliance.

During functioning, the power outlet must be easily accessible if its necessary to disconnect the appliance.
Do not place the appliance under a power outlet.
- Do not, for any reason, tamper the appliance.
In the event of malfunction please refer to a sales point. - To avoid useless and hazardous overheating of the appliance, DO NOT leave the device uselessly connected to the electrical power source. Disconnect the electrical power cord from the wall outlet when the appliance must not be used.
- Unwind the electrical power cord completely when the appliance must be used.
- Regularly inspect and verify the state of wear of the electrical power cord. Its eventual replacement must be performed by specialised personnel.

For domestic use only


The appliance MUST only be checked and/or repaired at an authorized retailer.
Any repair intervention performed by unauthorized personnel on the appliance automatically voids warranty.

This appliance shall only be intended for the use for which it has been expressly conceived, namely to process foods.
Any other use is considered improper and therefore hazardous.
The manufacturer cannot be considered responsible for any possible damage deriving from improper, faulty or unreasonable uses.
- Place the appliance in well ventilated areas, away from heat sources (burner, oven, radiator, etc.) and from areas filled with contaminated air. Make sure that there are at least 15cm of free space around the appliance in order to ensure a correct air circulation around the appliance itself.

- At the end of each use, always perform an accurate cleaning of all the parts in contact with foods, according to what is indicated in the "Cleaning" paragraph.
- Use a soft cloth or a non-abrasive sponge moistened with a delicate dishwasher detergent diluted in water to clean the appliance external surfaces.
Wash with a wet cloth.
Do not spray water or other liquids on the appliance.
Do not use abrasive or aggressive cleaning agents (such as acids or petrol) to clean the appliance.
Important warnings
To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, injury to persons when using your device, follow basic precautions, including the following:
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid hazards.
• Do not store or use this device outdoors. - Do not use this device near water, in a wet basement or near a swimming pool.
- Do not connect the unit to the power supply via external timer or remote control systems.
- Do not install this device; near heater, inflammable material; in a humid, oily or dusty location, in a location exposed to direct sunlight and water or where gas may leak; on unlevelled ground.
- Do not spray volatile material such as insecticide onto the surface of the appliance.
- Do not use the appliance in environments with explosives, combustible gasses or inflammable liquids (varnishes, glues, spray cans, etc.).
EXPLOSION AND FIRE DANGER.
- Do not place the working appliance against walls or under shelves, tables, etc. Leave at least 15 cm around the appliance and 50 cm above.
• Do not attempt to repair the device.

Do not leave the appliance within the range of children or incapable people when its working.
- Do not move the appliance while it's working.

Do not leave the appliance unattended while it's working.
- Do not expose the appliance to high temperatures and do not place it on hot surfaces like burners or on the stove.
- The appliance has NOT been designed to be used under rain and must NOT be stored outside or in moist places.
- Do not use the appliance outdoors.
Stables, stalls, granaries, porticoes, gazebos, balconies or similar are considered outdoor uses and, for this reason, are not allowed.
- Before inserting the plug in the power socket, make sure that the appliance starting switch (10) is in "0" (off) position.
This precaution protects in case of an improper or unexpected appliance start.
- Before starting the appliance, insert the desired accessory - hooks or whisk - in the appliance control shaft (3).
Lower the head (2) to allow the accessory immersion in the bowl (4) filled with food.
- To avoid overheating, the appliance must not be kept continuously functional for more than 10 minutes.
Since it has to perform processing in sequence or in longer times, perform pauses of at least 5 between cycles reducing the continuous functioning time to 5 minutes.

If the appliance is maintained functional for too long, it automatically turns off. To turn the appliance back on, move the switch (10) back to "0" and, subsequently, select the desired processing speed.

In the event that, even after performing what is described above, the appliance doesn't turn back on, it means that the thermal protector has intervened. Move the switch (10) back to "0", disconnect the plug from the power socket and wait at least 30 minutes before turning the appliance back on to let the motor cool down.

Do not exceed the bowl (4) maximum capacity of 4,6 Lt when inserting the ingredients.
Maximum quantity of flour to knead is 1,5Lt.

Never let the appliance work if it's empty.

Do not insert fingers or other objects in the hooks or in the whisks during their functioning. You could hurt yourself.
- At the end of use always disconnect the plug from the power socket and let it cool down.

To reduce the risk of injury to persons
GROUNDING INSTALLATION
- This device must be grounded. In the event of an electrical short circuit, grounding reduces the risk of electric shock by providing an escape wire for the electric current. This device is equipped with a cord having a grounding wire with a grounding plug. The plug must be plugged into an outlet that is properly installed and grounded.

Electric shock hazard. Improper use of the grounding can result in electric shock. Do not plug into an outlet until device is properly installed and grounded.
Do not disassemble this device.
- Consult a qualified electrician or serviceman if the grounding instructions are not completely understood or if doubt exists as to whether the device is properly grounded.
If it is necessary to use an extension cord, use only a 3-wire extension cord.
- Do not leave the power cord in the reach of children.
- Should the wall outlets and the unit plug be incompatible with each other, have the wall outlet replaced by an appropriate one by a qualified electrician. He, in particular, shall also make sure cross section of the wires corresponds to the absorbed power of the appliance.
Generally, adapters, multiple sockets and / or extension cables should not be used.
However, if necessary, only use single or multiple adapters and extension cables, which comply with existing safety standards, making sure however that the current carrying capacity limits.
- The use of any electric appliance involves compliance with certain basic rules.
In particular:
- never touch the appliance with wet or damp hands or barefoot;
- never pull the power cord or the appliance to remove the plug from the wall socket;
- never let children or disabled persons use the appliance unattended.
- Turn off the appliance and do not tamper with it in any way if it becomes faulty and/or operates in an incorrect way.
For possible repairs, only refer to an authorized retailer.
Failure to comply with this recommendation could impair the safety of the appliance.
- Should you decide to stop using an appliance of this type, remember to render it unusable by cutting off the power cable after having removed the plug from the power socket.
Also make sure that all parts of the appliance liable to constitute a danger are made harmless, particularly for children who could decide to use an old appliance as a toy.

Installation must be carried out following the manufacturer instructions. A wrong installation could cause damages to people, animals or things, for which the manufacturer cannot be considered liable.
In case of problems on the appliance, please contact the authorized assistance centres. Avoid trying to repair the appliance by yourself. Any repair intervention on the appliance carried out by unauthorized personnel automatically invalidates warranty even if its duration has not come to an end.

Appliance preparation
- AT FIRST USE
- Carefully unpack the appliance and remove all the packaging materials and the promotional labels.
- Clean the bowl (4), the accessories (5, 6, 7 and 8) and the lid (9) with hot water and a dishes detergent, accurately rinse and dry.
- Clean the appliance body (1) compartment with a damp cloth or with a sponge.

Never immerse the appliance body (1) in water or in other liquids.

Use
- Place the appliance on a plane, horizontal, clean, dry, stable and heat resistant surface.

Make sure that the suction feet (1a) are firmly fixed to the bearing plane.
- Move the safety lever (11) towards the arrow direction, the appliance head (2) raises.

- Place the bowl (4) in its own slot towards the arrow direction indicated with "LOCK". Make sure that the bowl (4) blocked.


- Insert the desired accessory in the main control shaft (3), slightly pushing it upwards and rotating it anticlockwise in order to firmly hook it.

Do not insert the hooks (5 and 6) and the whisk (7) in the secondary control shaft (3a).
- In order to reduce processing time and to obtain a better dough quality, it is possible to contemporaneously use the hooks (5) and (8) to insert the hook (8) in the secondary control shaft (3a).

EN
• Place the lid (9) on the bowl (4).

Do not use the appliance without the splash protection lid (9).
• Pour the ingredients in the bowl (4).

Do not exceed the maximum quantity of 4,6 Lt. The maximum quantity of flour to knead is 1.5 Lt.

- Move and hold the safety lever (11) the arrow direction and lower the head (2) until you hook it to the appliance body (1).

- Connect the power plug to the power socket making sure that the mains voltage corresponds to the one indicate on the appliance data label.
- Rotate the switch (10) clockwise to start the appliance at the minimum speed (to avoid splashes), then increase it as necessary. 220-24
- For pulse functioning, rotate the switch (10); "P" is shown on the display (kneading at short intervals).

If you move the lever (11) and raise the head (2) while the appliance is processing with the switch (10) set on one of the speeds, the appliance automatically stops.
To restart processing, it is necessary to set speed, which automatically set at zero, again.

Do not insert fingers or tools inside the bowl (4) during processing.

The maximum continuous processing time is 10 minutes.

If the appliance is used for a single working cycle and for dense doughs, its maximum continuous functioning time must not exceed 5 minutes.

Since the appliance has to process great quantities of food, insert appropriate breaks between the functioning cycles, which must not last more than 5 minutes.
- Move the switch (10) to "0" and disconnect the plug from the power socket to turn off the appliance when the work is over.

Turn the switch (10) to "0" and the inserted accessory will still perform some rotations before stopping to allow an easy head (2) raising.
Do not insert your fingers until the accessory has completely stopped.


Advices
- For a better whipped cream, use the ingredient and the container when they're well cold.
• To obtain more creamy puree use very hot ingredients (for example, potatoes which have just been removed from boiling water).
• To prepare optimal doughs use ingredients (for example, butter, eggs, milk, etc.) which have been removed from the fridge sufficiently in advance.

Do not exceed the maximum quantity of 4,6 Lt.
- To check the dough or to remove it from the bowl (4) walls, first turn off the appliance by moving the switch (10) to "0" (OFF) position and then wait for the motor to stop completely.

Check that the splash protection lid (9) is perfectly intact and that doesn't show any crack or break before each use.
• Do not use the appliance if the splash protection lid (9) presents cracks or if it's broken.
- If the splash protection lid (9) gets damaged during use, remove dough and throw it in the rubbish bin, in no event use the food inside the bowl (4).
Use the appliance only after you have obtained a new splash protection lid (9).

If the appliance blocks, immediately turn it off and set a lower speed.

If the appliance is blocked, turn it off and move the head (2) in raised position. Reduce the quantity of dough to ease processing.
Lower the head (2) in horizontal position and select speed again in order to proceed with processing.

Do not use the appliance for more than 5 consecutive minutes at maximum speed.


The appliance is equipped with an additional safety device which prevents its functioning when the head (2) is raised. The appliance it's operative only if the head (2) is in horizontal position.
>> Useful tips
For a good result it's necessary to respect some basic rules. Below you find some tips which can be applied to most of the recipes you're going to prepare.
- Always use clean accessories; when beating egg whites until stiff, even a minimum grease residue could prevent a good result.
- When using eggs, make sure they're very fresh and at ambient temperature.
- Slice ingredients like butter or margarine to ease their processing.
- Add ingredients to the dough delicately, in order to not "ruin" the performed processing.
- Start processing at speed "1" to amalgamate the ingredients, and avoid splashes and liquids leakage, then gradually increase speed according to the supplied chart and to the type of processing to perform.
- Do not exceed the maximum advised capacities.

Cleaning

Before performing cleaning operations, always disconnect the plug from the power outlet.

Never immerse the motor body (1) in water or other liquids.

Never wash the motor body (1) in the dishwasher.
- The hooks, the whisk, the bowl (4) and the lid (9) cleaning can be performed with warm water and normal dishes detergents.
• ONLY the bowl (4) can be washed in the dishwasher. - The colouring which some parts of the appliance could assume once in contact with the foods (example: orange, when processing carrots), can be removed using a cloth soaked in cooking oil.

Before reinserting the power plug in the power outlet make sure that the appliance and all of its components are completely dry and that the starting switch (10) is in "0" position.


Disposal of the appliance
The symbol of the crossed-out wheeled bin indicated on the product and on the accompanying documentation indicates that the product itself is subject to Directive 2012/19/EU that regulates the collection, the management, the treatment and the disposal of waste from electric and electronic equipment (WEEE).

Therefore, when the product reaches the end of its useful life, it must not be disposed of as a normal mixed municipal waste, but instead it must be subject to waste sorting at authorized collection centres.
The responsible disposal of waste from electric and electronic equipment contributes to ease the sustainable reuse and recycling of material resources, as well as to avoid possible damages to the environment and to human health caused by uncontrolled disposal of waste.
Local administrations create specific centres for WEEE waste sorting. For more detailed information regarding WEEE take-back and collection systems, it is possible to refer to your local administration or to the local household waste disposal service.
Moreover, at the time of purchase of a new equivalent equipment intended to be used in a household environment, the customer has the right to freely lend, at the rate of one on one, the used equipment to the distributor which will provide for its disposal as required by law.
Professional purchasers are exhorted to contact their own supplier to check the terms and conditions of the purchase contract.

Conventional warranty conditions
This Warranty does not affect your statutory rights under D. Lgs. 02/022002, n. 24.
With this warranty, the manufacturer suggests the Purchaser to address directly a Point of Sale which to comply with the restoration in a fast, safe and unquestionable quality.
This Warranty is effective regardless of the evidence that the defect - resulting from manufacturing defects present at the time of purchase of the device, except as provided in paragraph "d" of this text.
a) Warranty duration: 24 months from date of purchase.
After the first 12 months of warranty, the warranty on the unit will be managed by the Stores within 12 months of legal warranty in strict application of the provisions of Legislative Decree 02/022002, n. 24.
b) The warranty is effective: In case of a request for assistance, the warranty is valid only if you show the warranty certificate together with a document, valid receipt, showing the identification details of the seller, the product and the date on which the purchase was made.
c) Warranty extension: Repair DOES NOT stop nor change the duration of the warranty which will expire on its legal deadline.
d) Limitations of Warranty:
The warranty does not cover any damage resulting from:
negligence, incompetence, recklessness and carelessness in use (failure to comply with the rules in this manual);
- maintenance not covered in this booklet or performed by unauthorized personnel;

- incorrect installation (power supply with a voltage other than that listed on the nameplate and in this booklet);
- improper use of the appliance;
- damage due to normal wear and tear of the components, impacts, falls, transport damage.
- the warranty does not cover the repair / replacement of parts subject to wear during normal use of the product (hooks, kneader, blades, belts, connectors...).
e) Costs: In cases not covered by the warranty, the manufacturer reserves the right to charge the customer the cost of repair or replacement of the appliance.
