If there is any evidence of wear or breakage, immediately disconnect the plug from the outlet and take the appliance to an authorised reseller for the necessary checks.

- This device must be grounded. In the event of an electrical short circuit, grounding reduces the risk of electric shock by providing an escape wire for the electric current. This device is equipped with a cord having a grounding wire with a grounding plug. The plug must be plugged into an outlet that is properly installed and grounded.

  • Wash the bowl (4), the accessories (5, 6, 7 and 8) and the lid (9) with hot water and a dishes detergent, accurately rinse and dry.
    • Clean the appliance body (1) compartment with a damp cloth or with a sponge.

• It is possible to set the processing time which will be shown on the display (11).
- Use buttons "+" and "-" to set the desired processing time (it is settable 30" at a time). If no time is set, a 5 minutes time is automatically shown on the display when processing starts.

  • If processing is interrupted because the switch (10) has been switched to "0", the timer stops the time count which only restarts when processing is resumed at any speed from minimum to maximum.
  • If, during processing, the switch (10) is rotated towards Pulse mode ("P"), the display (11) will show the count of the seconds of that processing.

The count stops when the switch is released.

Since the appliance has to process great quantities of food, insert appropriate breaks between the functioning cycles, which must not last more than 5 minutes.

- Move the switch (10) to "0" and disconnect the plug from the power socket to turn off the appliance when the work is over.

Turn the switch (10) to "0" and the inserted accessory will still perform some rotations before stopping to allow an easy head (2) raising.

Advices

  • For a better whipped cream, use the ingredient and the container when they're well cold.
  • To obtain more creamy puree use very hot ingredients (for example, potatoes which have just been removed from boiling water).
    • To prepare optimal doughs use ingredients (for example, butter, eggs, which have been removed from the fridge sufficiently in advance.

- To check the dough or to remove it from the bowl (4) walls, first turn off the appliance by moving the switch (10) to "0" (OFF) and then wait for the motor to stop completely.

  • Do not use the appliance if the splash protection lid (9) presents cracks or if it's broken.
  • If the splash protection lid (9) gets damaged during use, remove dough and throw it in the rubbish bin, in no event use the food inside the bowl (4).

Use the appliance only after you have obtained a new splash protection lid (9).

The appliance is equipped with an additional safety device which prevents its functioning when the head (2) is raised. The appliance it's operative only if the head (2) is in horizontal position.

>> Useful tips

For a good result it's necessary to respect some basic rules. Below you find some tips which can be applied to most of the recipes you're going to prepare.

  • Always use clean accessories; when beating egg whites until stiff, even a minimum grease residue could prevent a good result.
  • When using eggs, make sure they're very fresh and at ambient temperature.
  • Slice ingredients like butter or margarine to ease their processing.
  • Add ingredients to the dough delicately, in order to not "ruin" the performed processing.
  • Start processing at speed "1" to amalgamate the ingredients, and avoid splashes and liquids leakage, then gradually increase speed according to the supplied chart and to the type of processing to perform.
  • Do not exceed the maximum advised capacities.

- For the motor body cleaning (1) use a damp cloth avoiding using abrasive detergents.

Never immerse the motor body (1) in water or other liquids.

Never wash the motor body (1) in the dishwasher.

- The hooks, the whisk, the bowl (4) and the lid (9) cleaning can be performed with warm water and normal dishes detergents.

• ONLY the bowl (4) can be washed in the dishwasher.

- The colouring which some parts of the appliance could assume once in contact with the foods (example: orange, when processing carrots), can be removed using a cloth soaked in cooking oil.

Before reinserting the power plug in the power outlet make sure that the appliance and all of its components are completely dry and that the starting switch (10) is in "0" position.

Disposal of the appliance

The symbol of the crossed-out wheeled bin indicated on the product and on the accompanying documentation indicates that the product itself is subject to Directive 2012/19/EU that regulates the collection, the management, the treatment and the disposal of waste from electric and electronic equipment (WEEE).

Therefore, when the product reaches the end of its useful life, it must not be disposed of as a normal mixed municipal waste, but instead it must be subject to waste sorting at authorized collection centres.

The responsible disposal of waste from electric and electronic equipment contributes to ease the sustainable reuse and recycling of material resources, as well as to avoid possible damages to the environment and to human health caused by uncont disposal of waste.

Local administrations create specific centres for WEEE waste sorting. For more detailed information regarding WEEE take-back and collection systems, it is possible to refer to your local administration or to the local household waste disposal service.

Moreover, at the time of purchase of a new equivalent equipment intended to be used in a household environment, the customer has the right to freely lend, at the rate of one on one, the used equipment to the distributor which will provide for its disposal as required by law.

Professional purchasers are exhorted to contact their own supplier to check the terms and conditions of the purchase contract.

Conventional warranty conditions

This Warranty does not affect your statutory rights under D. Lgs. 02/022002, n. 24.

With this warranty, the manufacturer suggests the Purchaser to address directly a Point of Sale which to comply with the restoration in a fast, safe and unquestionable quality.

This Warranty is effective regardless of the evidence that the defect - resulting from manufacturing defects present at the time of purchase of the device, except as provided in paragraph "d" of this text.

a) Warranty duration: 24 months from date of purchase.

After the first 12 months of warranty, the warranty on the unit will be managed by the Stores within 12 months of legal warranty in strict application of the provisions of Legislative Decree 02/022002, n. 24.

b) The warranty is effective: In case of a request for assistance, the warranty is valid only if you show the warranty certificate together with a document, valid receipt, showing the identification details of the seller, the product and the date on which the purchase was made.

c) Warranty extension: Repair DOES NOT stop nor change the duration of the warranty which will expire on its legal deadline.

d) Limitations of Warranty:

The warranty does not cover any damage resulting from:

  • negligence, incompetence, recklessness and carelessness in use (failure to comply with the rules in this manual);
  • maintenance not covered in this booklet or performed by unauthorized personnel;
  • tampering or interventions to increase the power or efficacy of the product;
  • incorrect installation (power supply with a voltage other than that listed on the nameplate and in this booklet);
  • improper use of the appliance;
  • damage due to normal wear and tear of the components, impacts, falls, transport damage.
  • the warranty does not cover the repair / replacement of parts subject to wear during normal use of the product (hooks, kneader, blades, belts, connectors...).

e) Costs: In cases not covered by the warranty, the manufacturer reserves the right to charge the customer the cost of repair or replacement of the appliance.

f) Manufacturer's responsibility: The manufacturer is not liable for any damage that may directly or indirectly affect persons, property or pets as a consequence of failure to comply with all the requirements set out in this "Instructions for Use" booklet and concerning especially the warnings regarding installation, use and maintenance.
