Frequently Asked Questions - DX360CF DIMPLEX

How do I clean the fan?
Always disconnect from power before cleaning. Clean the fan at least every two months. Use a dry cloth to remove dust and a damp cloth (not wet) to clean stains. Avoid moisture and do not use detergents. Use a vacuum to remove fluff.
How do I set the timer?
Press the timer button (⚙) to select intervals of 1, 2, 4, or 8 hours. The LED will indicate the selected time. The fan will switch off automatically when the timer ends.
What are the different modes?
The fan has three modes: Normal (manual speed selection), Natural (simulates natural breeze by varying speed), and Sleep (speed varies for night comfort, with three sub-patterns). Press the Mode button to cycle through them.
How do I use the remote control?
Remove the battery holder, insert a 3V CR2032 battery with correct polarity, and reinstall. The remote works within 6 meters and direct line of sight. If it fails, check the battery.
What does the oscillation function do?
Press the oscillation button to activate oscillation. You can select angles of 30°, 90°, 180°, or 360°. The fan will sweep back and forth or rotate continuously at 360°.
The fan is not working, what should I check?
Ensure the fan is plugged into a working outlet and the standby button is pressed. Check if the timer is set (may have turned off). If the remote doesn't work, replace the battery. If still not working, contact customer service.
Can I use the fan outdoors?
No, the fan is designed for indoor household use only. Do not use outdoors or near water to avoid electric shock.
What is natural mode?
Natural mode simulates a natural breeze by automatically varying the fan speed. You can select low, medium, or strong breeze using the speed button. The fan speed will fluctuate randomly.
How do I set the sleep mode?
Press the Mode button until Sleep mode is selected. Then use the Speed button to choose one of three patterns: varies between high/medium/low, between medium/low, or operates at low speed only.
How long is the guarantee?
The fan comes with a 1-year guarantee from purchase. If you register within 28 days at dimplex.co.uk, the guarantee extends to 3 years (UK and Ireland only).
