How do I install the water heater?

Installation must be performed by a qualified professional. Ensure the wall can support the weight, and connect to a cold water supply with a pressure relief valve. The heater can be installed vertically or horizontally (depending on model). See the manual for detailed diagrams.

What is the recommended temperature setting?

The factory default is 75°C for maximum hot water capacity. For energy savings and to prevent scalding, a setting of 50-55°C is recommended. Adjust using the thermostat knob or digital control.

How to clean and maintain the water heater?

Periodically check the magnesium anode rod and replace it if heavily corroded (every 2-5 years). Flush the tank annually to remove sediment. Do not use abrasive cleaners on the exterior. The unit is IPX4 protected but do not spray water directly.

What safety features does it have?

The water heater includes overpressure protection, overheat protection with independent thermal disconnect, dry heating automatic shutoff, and an Earth Leakage Circuit Breaker (ELCB) that disconnects power in 0.01 seconds.

Can it be installed horizontally?

Yes, selected models allow horizontal installation. Check the model specifications; for example, the MAESTRO SLIM series supports both vertical and horizontal mounting. Ensure proper orientation to avoid air pockets.

How to reset the heater after overheating?

If the overheat protection activates, turn off the power supply, allow the heater to cool, then press the reset button on the thermostat (usually accessible behind a cover). Refer to the manual for exact location.

What does the ELCB do?

The Earth Leakage Circuit Breaker monitors current leakage. If a fault is detected, it cuts off power in 0.01 seconds, preventing electric shock and protecting other appliances.

How to adjust the temperature?

Turn the thermostat knob or use the digital control panel (if equipped) to set the desired temperature between 30°C and 75°C. Allow time for the water to heat. For smart models, temperature adjusts automatically based on usage.

What type of anode rod is used?

The heater uses a magnesium anode rod that is 27% thicker than standard for extended protection against corrosion. It should be inspected every 2 years and replaced when heavily consumed.

How to drain the tank?

Turn off power and cold water supply. Attach a hose to the drain valve at the bottom. Open a hot water tap to allow air in, then open the drain valve. Drain completely and close valve before refilling. Caution: water may be hot.
