How do I clean the Termozeta TZR17 heater?

Unplug the heater and let it cool. Use a dry cloth to wipe the grille and exterior. Do not use water or abrasive cleaners.

Can I use the TZR17 in a bathroom?

No, this heater is not designed for damp locations. Use only in dry indoor areas.

Why is my heater not producing heat?

Check the power cord and plug. Ensure the thermostat is set above room temperature. If the overheat protection has tripped, turn off and let it cool.

Does the heater have overheat protection?

Yes, it has overheat protection and a tip-over switch that automatically shuts off the heater.

How do I adjust the thermostat?

Turn the thermostat dial clockwise to increase the desired temperature. The heater will cycle on/off to maintain it.

Is the TZR17 noisy?

It has a typical fan noise of about 45 dB, similar to a quiet conversation.

Can I leave the heater unattended?

It is not recommended to leave the heater unattended for long periods. Always unplug when not in use.

How much energy does the TZR17 consume?

On high setting, it consumes 2000 W (2 kWh per hour). On low, 1000 W. Use the thermostat to save energy.

What is the warranty period?

The standard warranty is 2 years from the date of purchase. Keep your receipt.

How should I store the heater in summer?

SAFETY WARNINGS

1. Do not use the heater unless the feet are correctly attached if the heater is used as portable appliance.
2. This appliance has been designed for domestic use on

7. Never place the heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container.

15. Do not position the heater in front of, or immediately below, a wall socket.
16. Do not insert any object through the heat outlet or air intake grilles of the heater.
17. Do not use the heater in areas where flammable liquids are stored or where flammable fumes may be present.

19. Always unplug the heater when moving it from one location to another.

20. Do not use the heater if the power cord is damaged. If the power cord is damaged it must be replaced by a recognised service agent or other qualified person. If the plug is damaged, see Plug Replacement details below.
21. Young children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
22. Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised.
23. ATTENTION! To avoid overheating do not cover the appliance.

7. Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do not bend it.

8. Stand the appliance on a stable surface so that it cannot fall.

9. Do not place the appliance under a power socket. The power socket must not be in the hot airflow of the appliance.

10. Always position the heater in such a way that inflammable materials (such as curtains) cannot be ignited. Ensure at all times

that the unit is placed solidly on its base. Make sure that the air inlet and outlet openings are not blocked. To avoid any risk of fire, do not cover the heater (ex. With clothes).

1. Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid for any reason whatsoever. When cleaning the appliance, refer to the instructions in the paragraph “Cleaning and care” because the water penetration through the openings can be very dangerous for your appliance.

Before using the heater, the feet (supplied separately in the carton), must be fitted to the unit. These are to be attached to the base of the heater using the 4 self-tapping screws provided, taking care to ensure that they are located correctly in the bottom ends of the heater side moldings.

HOW TO USE

• Before inserting the plug into an electrical outlet, make sure that the electrical supply in your area matches that on the rating label on the unit.
  • Always position the product on a flat stable surface
• This product also incorporates an internal fan, which can be switched on independently of the heatin gelements.
• Fan Operation (TURBO MODE): -This is operated by means of the switch with the fan symbol along side of the product. The fan will only operate with the thermostat in the “on” position and can be used when the heating elements are “on” to blow warm air into the room.
• In warm conditions the fan can be used with the heating elements "off" to blow cool air into the room. In this condition the product will ventilate only.

MAINTENANCE

When your heater needs cleaning, wipe exterior surfaces of the heater with a moistened cloth. Not rinse with water directly. Be sure to unplug before cleaning.

Pull out filters and clean them, when it's very dirty.

To prolong the heater life, not disassemble it personally when malfunction occurs.

Send your heater to relative identification after-sold service center or provider for the convenience inspecting.
