How do I turn on the Imetec M0601 heater?

Plug the heater into a power outlet, then turn the power knob to the desired setting (I or II). Adjust the thermostat knob to your preferred temperature.

What do the power settings I and II mean?

Setting I provides 1000 W heating power, while setting II provides 2000 W. Use setting I for lower heat or energy saving, and setting II for faster heating.

How does the thermostat work?

The thermostat automatically maintains the room temperature. Turn the knob clockwise to increase the target temperature. The heater will cycle on and off to keep the room at the set level.

Can I use the heater in a bathroom?

No, the Imetec M0601 is designed for indoor use only and must be kept away from water. Do not use in bathrooms, near sinks, or in wet areas.

Why does the heater turn off by itself?

The heater has safety features: overheat protection and a tip-over switch. If it overheats or is knocked over, it will automatically shut off. Let it cool down and place it on a stable, flat surface.

How do I clean the filter?

Unplug the heater and remove the filter cover. Take out the filter and wash it under running water. Let it dry completely before reinstalling. Clean the filter every two weeks for optimal performance.

Can I leave the heater unattended overnight?

It is not recommended to leave the heater unattended for long periods. Always unplug when not in use, and never leave it running while sleeping.

What should I do if the heater makes a strange noise?

Turn off and unplug the unit. Check for any debris or loose parts. If the noise persists, contact Imetec customer service. Do not attempt to repair yourself.

Is the heater safe for use around pets?

Yes, but keep the heater away from bedding, curtains, and flammable materials. The exterior can become hot, so ensure pets cannot touch it.

- After unpacking, make sure the appliance is intact, complete with all its parts as shown in the illustrative guide and with no sign of damage due to transportation. In doubt, do not use the appliance

• This appliance must be used only for the purpose for which it was designed, namely as a fan heater for home use. Any other use is considered not compliant with the intended use and therefore dangerous.
• Before connecting the appliance to the mains supply, make sure that the voltage and frequency indicated on the technical data of the appliance correspond to those of the mains supply. The rating is on the appliance or on the power supply unit, if any (see illustrative guide).
  • Children of less than 3 years should be kept away from the appliance unless continuously supervised.
• Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the appliance provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating position and they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the pliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in, regulate and clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.

PREPARATION

• Unpack the product.
• Check that it is intact and not damaged.
• Connect the product to the domestic mains.

USE

WARNING! This appliance is not to be used if it has been dropped or if there are visible signs of damage.

- For fan operation, move the power switch (4) to the cool air position and adjust the ambient thermostat (3) to the maximum temperature.

Anti-freeze function

This function assures maintaining the room temperature at around +5^ . The fan heater turns on automatically as soon as the temperature falls below this value.

• Adjust the room thermostat (3) to the minimum temperature.
• Turn the power switch (4) to the Hot air with ECO mode position to gradually achieve a temperature of +5°C
  • Turn the power switch (4) to the Rapid heat position to quickly achieve a temperature of +5°C

MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE

WARNING! Always disconnect the appliance from the mains supply before cleaning or performing maintenance.

The fan heater may be cleaned using a soft, slightly damp cloth. Dry well after cleaning.

WARNING! Once you have finished using this appliance, make sure it has cooled down completely before putting it away.

Keep the fan heater in a cool, dry place, out of reach of children.

When you put the fan heater away, make sure it is well-protected from dust.

DISPOSAL

The packaging of the appliance is made of recyclable materials. Dispose of it in accordance with the environmental protection regulations.

Pursuant to Directive 2012/19/EU on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE), the crossed bin symbol on the appliance or its packaging indicates that the appliance must be disposed of separately from other waste at the end of its useful life.

The user must therefore take the appliance to an appropriate recycling centre for electrical and electronic equipment. Alternatively, instead of handling the disposal, the user can hand over the appliance to the retailer when a new, equivalent one is purchased. The user can hand over electronic products measuring less than 25 cm to retailers of electronic products having a sales area of at least 400 m² free of charge and with no obligation to buy. Appropriate separate collection for the subsequent procedure for the decommissioned appliance for recycling, which includes treatment and environmentally friendly disposal helps prevent adverse effects on the environment and health and promotes reusing and/or recycling materials that the appliance consists of.

ASSISTANCE AND WARRANTY

The appliance is guaranteed for a period of two years from the date of delivery. Evidence shall be taken as the date indicated on the restrictions (provided it is possible), unless the buyer can prove

g. an obstruction at the cold air inlet and hot air outlet (front and rear grid),

j. a twisted, bent or damaged power cord due to negligence.

The list above is purely indicative and not exhaustive and in any case, this warranty shall not cover all circumstances that cannot be attributed to manufacturing defects of the appliance.

In addition, the warranty does not cover any case of improper use of the appliance and professional

use.

All liability is disclaimed for any damage that may directly or indirectly be caused to persons, property

and pets as a result of failure to comply with all the instructions provided in the Instructions and

Warnings Booklet regarding appliance installation, use and maintenance.

This is without prejudice to any contractual warranty claims against the seller.

Methods of support

Appliance repairs must be carried out by an authorised Service Centre. If the faulty appliance is under warranty, it must be sent to the Service Centre together with a fiscal document that can confirm the date of sale or delivery.
