How do I use the blender?

Wash and cut fruits or vegetables into small pieces. Place them in the jar (do not exceed half of the cup scale, about 0.5 L). Add a proper amount of water. Plug in and select speed 1 (low) or speed 2 (high). The blender will start. After blending, turn the switch to '0' and detach the jar. For short bursts, use the Pulse function.

How do I use the grinder attachment?

Ensure the foods (e.g., beans, rice, peanuts) are sun-dried and free of foreign materials. Place them in the grinder and lock it onto the motor base. Do not add water. Plug in and select speed 1 or 2. The grinder will mill the foods into powder. For short bursts, use the Pulse function.

What is the maximum operating time?

Operate the blender or grinder for a maximum of 3 minutes continuously. Then let it rest for at least 3 minutes. After 5 consecutive operations, let the motor rest for 1 hour.

Can I wash the parts in a dishwasher?

No. Wash all removable parts (jar, lid, grinder) in warm water and dry them. Do not wash in an automatic dishwasher. Never immerse the motor base in water; clean it with a moist cloth.

How do I clean the blender?

Unplug the appliance. Remove the jar and lid. Wash them in warm water with mild detergent. Use a spatula to remove stuck food. Dry thoroughly. Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

When using this appliance, basic precautions should always be followed, including the following:

1. Read all instructions before using.
2. Do not use the appliance if the plug, the mains cord or other parts are damaged, or if it is dropped or damaged in any manner. Return the appliance to the nearest authorized dealer or after-sales service center for examination, repair, electrical or mechanical adjustment.
3. Do not let the power cord hang over edge of table or counter or hot surface, hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
4. Do not leave the appliance unattended while operating.
5. Do not touch the cutting edges of the blender blade unit when you clean it. They are very sharp and you could easily cut your fingers on them.
6. In order to maintain good performance of the unit, there should be a 3-minute break between every 3 minutes of operation and 1-hour rest for the motor after 5 successive operations.
7. To prevent failure of the appliance, make sure that no food or liquids enter the connection point between the blade unit interface and the motor base.
8. Never reach into the plastic blender with your fingers or an object while the appliance is running.
9. Never use any accessories or parts from other manufacturers or that ELBA does not specifically recommended.
10. Oversized foods or metal utensils must not be inserted into the appliance as they may cause fire or risk of electric shock.
11. If foods stick to the wall of the blender, switch off the appliance and unplug it. Use a spatula to remove the foods from the wall.
12. Always make sure the jar cover is properly closed / assembled on the plastic jar and the lid is inserted properly in the jar cover before you switch on the appliance.
13. Do not use the blender or grinder as an utensil to keep foods or drinks.
14. Wash all removable parts (except motor base) in warm water and dry them before storage. None of the parts should be washed in an automatic dishwasher.
15. Never immerse motor base of the blender in water or any other liquids nor rinse it under the tap. Use only a moist cloth to clean the motor base.
16. Close supervision is necessary when your appliance is being used near children or infirm persons.
17. Always unplug the appliance before you assemble, dissemble or make adjustment to any of the parts.
18. Do not operate the appliance for other than its intended use.
19. Do not use this blender outdoors.

HOW TO USE BLENDER

2. Put the sliced foods into the transparent plastic jar and put on the top cover. Each time of blending, do not put more than half of the cup scale (approx. 0.5 liter) of foods in it. Too small of a quantity is not preferable either. Proper quantity of water should be added into during blending.
3. Plug power cord to a power source and adjust the switch to speed 1 (low speed) or speed 2 (high speed) position, the blender begins working. It only takes a few minutes to blend foods into small pieces. Then adjust the switch to "0" position to turn off the whole unit, detach the blender and pour out blended foods.
4. The blender will also operate when the switch is held on "Pulse" position. When the switch is loosened, it will return to "0" position and shut down automatically. This function is designed for short-time blending (a few seconds), which makes it easy to control the blending time.

1. The foods (bean, rice, peanut, broad bean and coffee bean, etc.) that are to be milled must be sun dried with foreign materials removed.
2. Put foods into the grinder and lock it onto the motor use. Do not add in water when milling.
3. Plug the power cord to a power source and adjust the switch to speed 1 or speed 2 position. Thus the foods can be ground into powder in minutes. Adjust the switch back on "0" position to turnoff the unit. Then remove the grinder and pour out the foods that have been ground.
4. The grinder will also operate when the switch is held on "Pulse" position. When the switch is loosened, it will return to "0" position and shut down automatically. This function is designed for short-time dry milling (a few seconds), which makes it easy to control the milling time.
