CHARGING THE BATTERY
The device has an internal battery. You have to charge it before starting to use it, connecting the device to the battery charger included in the box. With the device switched off, connect one end of the USB cable in the battery charger and the other end to the device's connector (6). The battery will start to be charging. Charge the battery during around 10 hours to ensure a maximum usage time and to lengthen its useful life.
NOTE: If the battery is TOO discharged, it's possible that the device needs some minutes to start charging. If you don't see anything in the dsiplay it's possible that it is too discharged. Wait some minutes until the charging process starts. Do not forget to charge the device before the first use and when the battery icon is empty.
CONNECTION TO THE COMPUTER AND FORMATTING THE MEMORY
With the device switched on, connect it to a computer with the USB cable of the box. The computer will automatically recognise the device.
Once the computer has detected the device, it will operate like a portable disk. Therefore, file transfer will be carried out in the same way as with any other storage device (for example, selecting and dropping files to the unit, or copying and pasting files in the unit).
To format the unit (in case you need it), in "My PC", right click on the storage drive created by the unit. Then click on the "Format..." option. Select the FAT32 file system and click "Start".
To disconnect it, double click on the small icon displayed on the bottom right-hand part task bar, and extract the formatted unit using the icon “Safely remove hardware”, select the unit and click on “Stop” option.
NOTE: Do not disconnect the player during the data copying or deleting process as this could cause the unit to malfunction and damage the software. Do it using the icon of the bottom right-hand task bar. Do not copy files or folders with file names too long or strange characters, because it may cause a wrong performance of the device. If so, change the name of the files or folders.
CARD AND USB DEVICE INSTALLATION
Whenever you insert or extract the SIM cards, memory card or USB stick, do it with the unit powered off. If the placement is not immediate, don't fore it and check the correct position.
SIM CARD INSERTING
Use the slit on the back cover to remove it. Insert the SIM cards in the slots as shown in the picture below.
Make sure the gold contacts of the SIM card is facing down and that the bevelled edge is aligned with the corresponding edge of the SIM card slot.

NOTA: Each time you want to remove or insert a SIM card, you must turn off the tablet previously, otherwise, will not be recognized properly.
MICROSD CARD AND USB DEVICE INSERTING
Insert the microSD memory card (up to 32GB) in the microSD card slot (7) with the contacts of the card inside, and looking at the back. Press until it is fully contained inside the device and you hear a click. To extract the card, press it slightly inwards until you hear a click. The card will pop out of the slot, then you can remove it.
To connect a USB memory or device, connect one end of the USB-OTG cable supplied with the device and the other end into the USB device that you want to connect.
NOTE: The card and USB memory (not included) must be formatted in FAT32. Every time you want to insert or remove a card or USB device you must switch off the tablet before, if you do not do it, the tablet will not recognize it.
TURNING ON / OFF THE DEVICE
Switch on the device by pressing the key (1) during some seconds. This process needs some time, you have to wait until it finishes.
The first time you power the unit on, a configuration wizard will appear, follow the steps until the end. Once completed, the main desktop will be shown, where you can see the bottom information bar, some shortcuts to different functions, and the icon to access the menu.
To switch the device off, keep pressing the key (1) during some seconds. Press "OK" to confirm.
Next time you power it on, it will go to locking screen, you have to press and move the lock icon 🔒 to the right position.
If your SIM card is locked, you must enter the correct PIN code to unblock the SIM card when the tablet is powered up. Your PIN is supplied by your operator; if you did not receive it or have lost it, please contact them. When the PIN is entered incorrectly three times, the tablet is blocked and has to be unblocked using your PUK (this is supplied with the SIM card; if this is not the case, you should contact your phone operator).
NOTE: To activate the power saving mode and lock the screen, press the (1) key once. The screen will switch off but the device will continue powered on. To activate it again, press once again the key (1) and then, move with the finger the lock icon to the right position. If at any time the device does not work correctly or if it gets blocked, insert a sharp object and press the switch inside. The tablet will switch off, press (1) key for switch it on again.
TOUCH SCREEN
- Select a function, option, etc To select an option, just press on it.
■ Move through a list - When you see in the screen a list of items (folders, files, sub-menus, etc.), you can move through the list by moving the finger from up to down and vice versa. - Select an item from a list Just press once on it.
■ Virtual keypad - When you press on a text input field, you will see in the bottom part of the screen a virtual keypad, which allows you to write as with a normal keypad.
■ Back to previous menu →To go back to the previous menu in any of the displays, press on ←icon in the bottom bar. Press it several times if you want to go to the main desktop. - Go to desktop → To go directly to the main desktop press the icon of the screen.
UNIT OPERATION AND ANDROID™ INTERFACE
The device has Android 4.4 Kit Kat operating system, improving the graphical interface, functions, applications and other features comparing with the previous versions.
The device has different desktops where the shortcuts to some applications and widgets (applications that can show and run in the desktop) are shown as icons. To move from one desktop to another one, just press with the finger on the screen and drag it to left or right position.
The status bar in the top part of the screen shows the system notifications, WiFi network status, battery status, time; and the bottom bar allows you access to previous screen, to main desktop, and to recent applications.

BASIC OPERATIONS
SIM MANAGEMENT
When you turn on your phone for the first time, various items of information about the SIM card(s) are displayed. You are asked whether you want to modify the settings for calls, messages and the internet connection.
Enter in setting options and you will see SIM management menu, from this menu you can make the following:

Personalise the information on the SIM cards selecting the desired card. The background colour serves to differentiate the two SIMs in the menus using the SIMs.

Set the default SIM * for voice and video calls, SMS/MMS and internet data connection.
-
Activate the data for one of the cards.
You will be able to set the roaming parameters.
*You can still choose a different SIM when performing an action, such as before making a call or sending an SMS/MMS: drag the notifications panel to the bottom of the screen and press on the SIM you want.
The default SIM will be underlined. If you choose «always ask», an icon will appear next to the signal strength when you go to the SMS/MMS and call menu.
DATA USAGE
This device is designed in order it recognizes the APN-s (access point names) automatically from the most operators but with some few virtual operators you maybe will need to select the correct operator name form the list of APN-s. If although the data of the card are activated you still cannot surf the web, you will need to select your operator manually:
- Go to "More..." from settings menu
- Select "Mobile networks"
- Select "Access point names"
- Select the correct operator from the list
If your operator does not appear in the list or the list is empty, ask your operator how to configure the APN manually. To do this, press on the Menu : , button, then New APN and enter the information provided by your operator. Press on the Menu : and choose Save. Return to the previous menu, then choose the APN that you have just saved.
3G Service
If you have two SIM cards inserted, only one of them can be enabled to receive the 3G service. You are advised to enable SIM1 for the best performance. If you want to change SIM, go to Settings > WIRELESS & NETWORKS > More... > Mobile networks > 3G Service > Enable 3G.
Data Roaming
Note that for roaming SIM cards, you must enable the data roaming in the Settings > SIM management > BASIC SETTINGS > Roaming menu. Otherwise, the internet connection will be disabled by default.
NOTE: If you use the 3G service of an Mobile Virtual Operator, it's possible that you may need to activate the Data Roaming.
CONNECTIVITY: WiFi / 3G / Bluetooth
WIFI
The device has WiFi to connect and browse Internet when you are in a WiFi network range with Internet connectivity.
To activate it:
Access to “Settings” menu. Ensure that WiFi option is activated, or if isn’t, press on the switch until you see the “ON” word.
The device makes an automatic wireless network search, and it shows the ones it finds in the right side. Select the network to which you want to connect, pressing on it. If it's a secure network, the device will ask you to input the password. Then the device will try to connect to the network, and if satisfactory, under the network name you will see "Connected" word.
You can also add manually a network, from the icon + link in the top right position.
3G
If there is no WiFi available in your place, or if you don't have it enabled, the tablet will use the 3G connection for the data. You can configure that network as explained in previous sections.
BLUETOOTH
You can connect to another device with the Bluetooth connectivity. You have to enable it in "Settings" →
"Bluetooth", look for the other device, and if both are seen, touch the name of the other device to make the connection.
You can also configure the visibility and its time from this section.
You can connect to other devices like earphones (to listen to the music and talk by phone), other mobile phones or tablets (to send files), etc.
APPLICATIONS
To see the full list of applications and open them, you have to press the icon ⏻ from any desktop. Move right and left to move through the different applications screens in case they occupy more than one screen.
Additionally you can access the applications from the desktops, in case there is the corresponding icon as shortcut.
To install applications, you can do it from any applications store directly, or from a file with "APK" extension from the memory card or internal memory.

| Apps | You can manage the different installed applications and the ones that are running. |
| Location services | Location services parameters configuration through WiFi network. |
| Security | Configuration of locking parameters and device's security. |
| Language & Input | Language, dictionaries, keyboard and voice synthesis configuration. |
| Backup & Reset | Backup parameters configuration and factory reset. |
| Accounts | User accounts. You have to define at least a Google account to the fully working of the device. Other compatible accounts: Twitter, Exchange, Facebook, Skype... |
| Date & Time | System time and date configuration. |
| Scheduled power on&off | Power on off settings. |
| Accessibility | Functions management to help people with visual difficulties. |
| Printing | Printing services. |
| Developer options | Options related with development and performance of the device, it's recommended not to modify them. |
