Working principle heat pump

Hot process air flows through the drum and thereby the therein wet laundry.

The humidity of the laundry is absorbed by the air, and then discharged in the heat pump. There, the air is cooled using a refrigerant, which stores the extracted energy.

Energy is not (hardly) getting lost, because this is used to warm the cooled air, which is then transferred to the laundry and thus the circle is closed.

  • Replace the water tank.

If the tank is overfilled while a program is running, the drying process stops and the corresponding message appears on the display.

- After emptying the water tank, press the start/pause-button to continue the drying process.

Cleaning the heat exchanger

The cleaning interval depends on the type and quantity of laundry but clean the heat exchanger (condenser) approx. every three months.

WARNING: Risk of injury!

DO NOT clean with bare hands as the heat exchanger fins have sharp edges.

  • Open the base cover.
  • Turn the opposite levers to unlock and remove the heat exchanger cover.
  • Remove the lint carefully and without pressure using a soft brush or a vacuum cleaner with the appropriate brush attachment.
  • Replace the heat exchanger cover and close the locking levers.
  • Close the base cover.

Cleaning the humidity sensors

The residual humidity sensors are located in the interior below the door opening. The electronics use the residual humidity sensors to determine how damp or dry the laundry is.

The easiest way to clean is with vinegar. If it is carried out regularly, a layer of limescale cannot build up and impair the function.

  • Wipe the metal surface of the sensors with a sponge soaked in vinegar or with a soft brush.
  • Then rub them dry thoroughly.
