How do I descale the Eldom WK270?

Mix equal parts water and white vinegar, boil in the appliance, let sit for 30 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.

Can I boil milk in the WK270?

It is not recommended as milk can scorch and damage the appliance. Use only water.

What does the keep-warm function do?

After boiling, the appliance automatically keeps the water at a warm temperature (approx. 70°C) for up to 30 minutes.

Why does the kettle turn off before boiling?

Check for mineral buildup (limescale). Descale the appliance. Also ensure the lid is closed properly.

Is the WK270 cordless?

Yes, it sits on a power base and can be lifted off for pouring. The base has a short cord.

Can I open the lid while water is boiling?

It is not recommended as hot steam can cause burns. Wait for the cycle to finish.

How do I clean the filter?

1. Open the battery case cover at the bottom of scale.
2. Take out the used battery
3. Install new battery by putting one side of the battery bebeath the battery baffle and then pressing down the other side.
   Used batteries should be thrown away the containers specially designed for this purpose.

WEIGHING MODE

1. Please put the scale on a hard and flat surface.
2. Place bowl (if used) on the scale before turning on the unit.
3. Gently press on the scale by hand to turn on.
4. Wait until LCD shows all information.
5. Load weighing object on to start weighing, LCD will show the weight reading
6. If the weighing object is water or milk, press and hold [ZERO/MODE] button until the unit changes to choose volume and view the volume of weighing object.

Changes of measurement units In order to change measurement units from g/ml to pouns/ounce, after switching on the scales, the button [UNIT] should be pressed at the bottom of the device. Another pushing the [UNIT] button will cause the repeated change of the units.

"ZERO" OR "TARE" FUNCTION

To weigh different loads consecutively without removing loads from the scale.

Put first Load on the scale, get weight reading. Press [ZERO] button to reset the LCD reading to "0" before adding next load. You can repeat this operation.

1. "ZERO" function

When total sum of all loads on scale ≤4% of scale's max weight capacity (4% = 200g when capacity is 5 kg).

LCD will show "____" lub "0g" each time [ZERO] button is pressed.

“——” means not stable, please wait for a moment.

"0g" and meanwhile an icon "o" on lower left corner of LCD mean "ZERO" function is active. Max weight capacity remains unchanged.

By pressing [ZERO] you can see the total weight of all loads on the scale. If you want to weight more loads, just press [ZERO] to reset LCD reading to „0" again.

AUTO SHUT OFF

Auto shut-off occurs if display shows '0' or shows the same weight reading for 1 minute.
