Is the charging cable compatible with all electric vehicles?

The cable is designed for electric and hybrid vehicles with a standard vehicle inlet conforming to IEC 62196-2. It is not compatible with vehicles that use different charging standards.

Can I use an extension cord or adapter with this charging cable?

No, do not use an extension cord or adapter. Using them can create a fire hazard and void the warranty. Always plug directly into a suitable 16A household socket.

How do I know when the charging process is complete?

The CHARGE LED will be permanently lit green when charging is complete. During charging, it flashes green.

What do the LED indicators on the control box mean?

Refer to the manual for a full table. Key states: POWER LED on indicates standby; CHARGE LED flashing green means charging; solid green means charging completed; other LEDs indicate errors like overvoltage, overcurrent, or overheating.

What should I do if the charging cable gets wet or dirty?

Do not charge if the cable or contacts are wet or dirty. Unplug and clean with a dry cloth only. Never use water, solvents, or steam cleaners. Ensure everything is dry before use.

How should I clean and store the charging cable?

Disconnect from vehicle and mains. Clean with a dry cloth. Store in a dry, clean place with the protective caps on the plugs. Avoid kinking the cable.

Can I use the cable in extreme temperatures?

The cable operates from -25°C to +55°C. However, charging capacity may be reduced at very low or high temperatures. The charging process stops if the control box exceeds +85°C and resumes at +60°C.

My charging cable is damaged. Can I repair it?

Do not attempt to repair or modify the cable. Any damage (melting, fraying, etc.) means the cable must be replaced immediately to avoid electric shock or fire. Modifications void the warranty.

How long does it take to charge an empty battery?

Charging time depends on the vehicle battery capacity and state of charge. At the cable's maximum power of 3.7 kW (230V, 16A), a typical 40 kWh battery will take about 11 hours from empty. Always check your vehicle's specifications.

INTENDED USE

Only use the article for charging electric and hybrid vehicles with alternating current (AC) at standard household mains sockets with a load capacity of 16A. The article may only be used together with standard vehicle inlets conforming to IEC 62196-2.

SAFETYINSTRUCTIONS

DANGER: Risk of death, serious injury and burns.
Improper handling of the charging cable can cause explosions, electric shock and short circuits. Observe the generally applicable safety precautions and the following instructions.
- Before each use, check the charging cable and contacts for damage and dirt.
- Never charge with a damaged charging cable, control box, vehicle inlet or a damaged household socket.
- Never charge with contacts that have become dirty or damp.
- Only connect the charging cable to vehicle inlets and household sockets that are protected from water, direct sunlight, moisture and other liquids.

• When the charging process is finished, you can disconnect the vehicle charging plug and the charging plug. Never pull them by force. Dangerous electric arcs can cause death and serious injury.
• There are electric vehicles that allow the vehicle to be started with the charging cable plugged in. Always make sure that the charging cable is disconnected before starting.
• Do not use the charger cable with an extension cable or adapter. Modifications or alterations are life-threatening and lead to the immediate exclusion of the warranty.
• If the plug connection smokes or melts, never touch the charger cable. If possible, interrupt the charging process. In any case, operate the emergency stop switch on the charging station.
• Make sure that the charging cable is not accessible to children. Only persons with a valid driving licence for motor vehicles may operate the charger cable.

OPERATIONS

1. Switch off the vehicle.
2. Connect the mains plug of the charging cable to a suitable socket (230V 16A).
3. The charging cable carries out a self-test in which all the LEDs light up briefly.
4. The POWER LED lights up to indicate that the battery is ready for charging.
5. Pull the protective cap off the charger plug.
6. Connect the charging plug of the charging cable to the charging socket of your vehicle.
7. The charging process starts automatically as soon as the CHARGE LED starts flashing green.
8. The charging process is completed when the CHARGE LED is permanently lit up green.
9. When the charging process is finished, remove the mains plug from the mains socket and then the charging plug of the charging cable from the charging socket of your vehicle.
10. Put the protective cap on the charging plug and roll up the cable without kinks.

LOADING TIME

The duration of the charging process depends on the capacity and state of charge of the high-voltage battery of your vehicle and on the permissible charging capacity of the charging cable and the mains socket. At very low and very high temperatures the charging capacity can be impaired.

CLEANING AND STORAGE

Only clean the charger cable if it is not connected to the vehicle or the power socket. Only clean the charging cable and dirty contacts with a dry cloth. Never use abrasive cleaning agents, water or steam jet cleaners. Never immerse the item in liquids.

Store the charger cable with the protective caps attached in a dry and clean place.
