IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTION
When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed, which include the followings:
- Please read this instruction manual carefully. Use the product only for the intended purpose. Make sure that the appliance is connected to a power outlet with an adequate power. Do not use the appliance by connecting it to a multiple socket outlet. This can cause a short circuit.
- Do not touch the hot surfaces of the appliance.
Do not move the oven when in use.
- Careful supervision is necessary if the appliance is used near children. Keep the product and its power cord out of the reach of children under 8 years old. Keep the product out of reach of animals during use. This product can be used by children older than 8 and persons with reduced physical, mental or sensory capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge if under supervision or if they received instructions for safe use of the appliance and they understood the related dangers.
Make sure children do not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance operations should not be carried out by children unless they are at least 8 years old and under supervision.
- To protect yourself from the risk of electric shock, avoid contact with water or other liquids. Do not place the product where it may fall in water or other liquid. Never immerse the wire, plug, or lid with panel controls in water or other liquid.
- Avoid the cable hanging from the table or the worktop, or come into contact with hot surfaces. If it happens, disconnect the plug and verify the integrity of the cable. Use it on a safe and stable work surface, and do not place it near the edge of the worktop. Always make sure that both the oven and loose cables are out of the reach of children.
- Do not use the appliance if the cable or plug are damaged.
Regularly check the good condition of the cord and plug. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its after sales service or, in any case, by a qualified person in order to prevent any risk.

During oven operation, keep at least 10 centimeters of space on all sides of the oven to allow proper air circulation.

Disconnect the cable from the mains when the oven is not in use and before proceeding with any cleaning operation.

To disconnect the power cord, pull it out by plug.

Particular attention should be paid when moving a tool containing hot oil or other hot liquids inside it.

Do not cover the inside parts of the oven with aluminum paper. This may cause the oven to overheat.

Use extreme caution when removing the tray inside the oven.

Do not clean the appliance with metal sponges. Follow the instructions indicated on CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE paragraph.
Let cool before inserting or disconnecting part of the device before cleaning operations.

Never leave the appliance unattended during use.

Bulky food or metal utensils should not be placed in the appliance as it could create a fire or risk of electric shock.

Do not place any element over the oven or cover the oven with flammable material during operation as it may cause fire. Do not use accessories different than those recommended. by the manufacturer. They may ignite, cause short circuits, or cause personal injury.

Extreme caution should be exercised when using containers whose composition is different from metal or glass.

Do not place any of the following materials in the oven: cardboard, plastic, paper.

When the product is not in use, do not store anything other than the accessories recommended by the manufacturer in the oven.

Always wear protective and insulating gloves when inserting or removing objects from the hot oven.

Do not use the appliance for purposes other than those that were intended in this instruction manual. Any other use is to be considered improper and dangerous.

This appliance has been conceived for household use only, but it can be used in cookery areas reserved for staff, shops, offices and other places of work, farms, hotels, motels, bed and breakfast and other professional premises and similar places.

Do not dismantle the product, try to repair or change the power plug in any way. Address to a customer assistance center, in order to receive technical assistance.

This appliance must not be used with an external timer or separate remote control.

- Do not place appliance on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven or in a microwave oven.

Before use
- Make sure there is enough ventilation around the oven.
- Make sure the oven is completely dry before use.
- The oven must not be placed on untreated wooden surface when in use. Place the product on a heat resistant surface.
- The feet of the oven can leave some marks on the surface, remove them by using a soft damp cloth.
Rotisserie use
- Insert the spit into one of the two square ends of the roast.
- Insert the spit directly through the center of the food which you want to roast.
- Put the other skewer through the pointed end of the spit, making sure the points of skewer face the spit's square end.
- Put the two skewers into the food, then secure both skewers with the thumbscrews.
- Fix the spit with the skewer.
- Insert the pointed end of the spit into the drive socket, make sure the square end of the spit rests on the spit support.
- Plug the oven.
- Set the thermostat to 230^ C.
- Turn the timer to the time which you require, the power indicator will light up. Normally it takes 30 minutes to roast a 2.5Kg (5.5Pd) weight chicken.
- Set the selector to Rotisserie or Rotisserie & Convection setting, the rotisserie starts rotating.
- When roasting is completed, turn back the timer to OFF.
- After the oven is cooled, place the hooks of the rotisserie handle under the grooves on both sides of the spit. Lift the right side of the spit first, move towards right a little bit, so that the left side of the spit goes out of the drive socket. Then carefully move out the roasted food from the oven.
- Take the food off the spit.
After use
- Set the timer to 0.
- Set the temperature selector to 0.
- Unplug the appliance from the outlet.
- Wait until the oven is completely cool before any cleaning or maintenance.
Cleaning and maintenance
- Unplug the appliance and allow it to completely cool before cleaning.
- Do not immerse the appliance in water. All surfaces can be cleaned with a clean and damp cloth.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or sharp utensils to clean the appliance.
- Clean the interior chamber with a clean damp cloth.
