Frequently Asked Questions - 302968 Aplic

How do I install the bike lights?
Mount the front light on the handlebars and the rear light on the rear frame. For the front light, open the clamp, position it around the handlebar, and tighten the screw. The rear light clamps similarly. Ensure both are securely attached.
What type of batteries do I need?
The front light requires 4× AA 1.5V batteries, and the rear light requires 4× AAA 1.5V batteries. Use only non-rechargeable alkaline batteries. Do not use rechargeable batteries (1.2V) as they may cause brightness or functional issues.
How do I change the light modes?
Press the on/off button on each light to turn it on or change the operating mode. The lights have multiple modes (e.g., steady, flashing). Press repeatedly to cycle through them.
Can I use rechargeable batteries?
No, the manual specifically advises against using rechargeable batteries because they only provide 1.2V, which can lead to functional or brightness problems. Only standard 1.5V alkaline batteries are recommended.
How do I remove the front light quickly?
The front light has a quick-release lock. Press the lever (1) down and remove the light (2) from the holder. This makes it easy to take the light with you when parking.
Are the lights waterproof?
No, the lights are not certified for outdoor use in wet conditions. They should only be used in dry conditions and protected from high humidity, water, and snow. Avoid exposing them to rain or washing.
What should I do if the lights stop working?
First, check that the batteries are inserted correctly with the correct polarity and that they are not depleted. If the light still does not work, do not attempt to repair it yourself. Contact the manufacturer or place of purchase.
How should I dispose of the product and batteries?
Do not dispose of the product or batteries with household waste. Follow local regulations for electrical and electronic waste (WEEE) and battery recycling. The crossed-out bin symbol indicates separate collection. Return old batteries to collection points or to the supplier.
Is the product certified for outdoor use?
The manual states that the device is not certified for use in the open air; it should only be used in dry conditions. However, it is designed for mounting on a bicycle, so it is intended for use during dry weather. Avoid riding in heavy rain.
What is the warranty?
Warranty is void if the device is repaired or altered by anyone other than the original supplier. For specific warranty terms, refer to the purchase agreement or contact the manufacturer. The product must be used according to the instructions.
