How do I adjust the grind fineness?

Turn the adjustment knob (3) on the top of the machine. Turn clockwise to make the grind finer and counterclockwise to make it coarser. Adjust while the motor is running for best results.

How do I adjust the dose amount?

Under the doser lid (13), turn the dose adjustment dial (4). Turn counterclockwise to increase the dose and clockwise to reduce it. Each pull of the doser lever delivers one dose.

How do I clean the machine?

Unplug the machine. At least once a week, remove the bean hopper (2) by loosening the back screw after closing the hopper tab (14). Clean the hopper with a dry cloth. Lift the doser lid (13) and brush the inside of the doser. Also clean the dispensing opening (10) with a brush.

What should I do if the motor stops suddenly?

The motor has thermal protection. If it stops, switch off the machine, unplug it, and allow it to cool. Remove any obstruction (e.g., foreign body) that may have caused the overload. If the problem persists, contact an authorized service center.

Can I use this grinder for non-coffee items?

No. This grinder is designed exclusively for roasted coffee beans. Any other use is considered improper and may damage the machine or cause safety hazards.

How often should I replace the burrs?

For flat burrs, replace every 500 kg of coffee ground. For conical burrs, every 700 kg. Regular replacement ensures consistent grind quality.

Why is my coffee dose inconsistent?

Check the coffee level in the doser using the flag (5). Adjust the flag position to maintain a consistent level. Also ensure the doser is clean and the dose adjustment dial is set correctly.

Can I use an extension cord?

The manual advises against using extension cords or multiple-plug adapters. Plug the machine directly into a properly grounded outlet that matches the voltage and frequency on the data plate.

How do I lock the bean hopper in place?

Insert the hopper (2) into its seat, aligning the hole with the screw on the back of the machine. Tighten the lock screw securely. Close the hopper tab (14) before removing the hopper.

What does the trash bin symbol on the machine mean?

• This grinder dispenser has been devised for professional use by trained personnel.
- The grinder/dispenser must be used only for the application for which it was designed; that is, grinding roasted coffee beans. Any other use must be considered improper and therefore dangerous.
- The manufacturer shall not be held responsible for damages deriving from erroneous or unreasonable use of the machine.
- The appliance must not be used by children or people with reduced, physical, sensorial or mental abilities. It must also never be used by people without the necessary skills and experience unless under supervision or during training.

• The machine is not designed for use in extreme environmental conditions and in any case at temperatures outside the -5^ to +30^ range.

4. IMPORTANT INFORMATION

This manual is designed for use by the user of the machine and/or by those performing maintenance on the machine and must be considered an integral part of the machine itself.

This manual provides information concerning correct use and appropriate maintenance of the machine, as well as useful indications for ensuring user safety. This manual must be preserved for the entire working life of the machine and must be transferred, together with the machine, to future users or owners. The information contained in this manual must not be construed as substituting the safety prescriptions and the technical data regarding installation and operation carried on the machine itself and on the packing materials. This manual reflects the current state of machine technology and shall not be considered obsolete solely because updated at a later date on the basis of acquired experience. The manufacturer reserves the right to make modifications to this manual with no obligation to update previous versions except in exceptional use of the machine or use in manners other than those described in this manual shall invalidate the guarantee conditions and shall release the manufacturer from all responsibility, the machine must be used only by adult, responsible persons. 4.1 PRESERVATION OF THE MANUAL

This manual must at all times be available to the machine user and/or the persons performing maintenance on the machine, who must be provided with full information regarding correct machine use and residual risks.

This manual must be preserved in a clean, dry place away from sources of heat. This manual must be used in a manner such as not to damage any part of its contents.

Do not remove, tear out or re-write any part of this manual for any reason. In case of loss of this manual or for further information, please contact your area retailer or the manufacturer.

5. LOCKING THE CONTAINER

Before operating the appliance, it is necessary to fit the coffee bean container (2).

• Insert the container (2) into its seat (see Fig. 2), positioning it so that the hole lines up with the screw on the back part of the appliance.
• Tighten the lock screw (see Fig. 3).

6. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

• After connecting to the power supply, pull the tab (14) at the base of the coffee bean container (2) to close it (see Fig. 4).
- Remove the lid (1) from the container (2) and fill it with coffee beans.
- Move the switch (7) to the "I" position.
- Push the tab (14) to allow the coffee beans to pass through.
• The switch (15) is used to start up the motor for the first time.
- Wait for the doser group to become half full and then place the filter holder on the fork (10) and use the doser lever (6) (see Fig. 7). Each pull of the lever is a single dose of ground coffee. The number of doses dispensed can be seen on the counter (9).

- Switch off the switch (15) to stop the grinding operation.

WARNING

In the interests of preventing damage and accidents, never place fingers or other items into the spout below the doser while the ground coffee is being dispensed.

6.1 GRINDING AND DOSE ADJUSTMENT

To adjust grinding fineness, use the adjustment knob (3). This needs to be turned clockwise to increase grinding fineness or anticlockwise to increase the grain size, as shown on the knob itself (see Fig. 5).

To adjust the amount in each dose, use the dial (4) under the lid of the doser group (12), turning it anticlockwise to increase the dose and clockwise to reduce it (see Fig. 6).

To adjust the level of ground coffee in the doser, use the flag (5) under the lid of the doser group (12).

Use the two slots in the bottom part of the flag to adjust the level of the coffee in the doser. With the flag moved downwards, it is possible to work with a low level of ground coffee, while if it is moved upwards, it is possible to work with a high level of ground coffee inside the doser.

7. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

WARNING

Always unplug the appliance from the mains power supply before carrying out any cleaning or maintenance operations.

Never pull on the power cord or the appliance when removing the plug from the mains power socket.

7.1 Cleaning

At least once a week, it is necessary to remove the coffee bean container (2), loosening the fastening screw in the back part of the container, taking care to close it first by pulling the tab (14) (see Fig. 3 and 4) and remove the greasy layer left by the coffee beans with a clean cloth. After lifting the lid (13), it is necessary to clean the inside of the doser with a brush.

Clean the dispensing opening frequently, using a brush (see Fig. 10).

Failure to perform these operations could lead to the oily, aromatic part of the coffee becoming rancid with obvious negative results on the coffee dispensed afterwards.

For the cleaning of the base use a damp cloth.

7.2 Maintenance

WARNING

Maintenance operations must only be performed by qualified service engineers, authorised to perform such operations by the manufacturer.

WARNING

Never perform makeshift or precarious repairs and never use nonoriginal spare parts.

For good appliance operation, it is necessary to check and if required, replace the grinders every 500 kg of coffee ground for flat grinders and every 700 kg of coffee for appliances with conical grinders.
