- Please make sure that any person using this tool or carrying out maintenance work carefully reads and fully understands these operating instructions before using the tool.
- Modifications of any kind or any additions or modifications to the device are prohibited.
- All safety, warning and operating information on the tool must be kept legible. Immediately replace any damaged labels or stickers.
- All specified installation values or setting ranges must be observed.
- Always keep the operating instructions close to the tool.

3. Dangers that may arise from using the device
Before each use, check the HAZET socket strip for full functionality. Do not use the product if its functional efficiency cannot be ensured or if damage is detected. If it is determined that the product is not in good working order but the product is used despite this, there is a danger of serious damage to body, health and property.
Electrical energy may cause serious injuries. The following fundamental safety instructions must be observed and adhered to in order to avoid electric shock, injuries or fire:
- Do not make any structural changes to the HAZET socket strip.
- Never use tools with a defective on/off switch. Any tools that cannot be switched on or off with the On/Off switch are dangerous and must be repaired.
- All service or repair work must be carried out by qualified personnel only. Only use original spare parts so as to guarantee its long-term operational safety.
- Safety devices and/or cover parts may not be removed.
- Never use the tool when a protective cover is missing or when not all of the safety devices are fitted and in perfect working order.

- Do not pull the cable over sharp edges or objects.
- Avoid mechanical strain.
- Do not place the cable in water.
- Operate the HAZET socket strip only under the approved and suitable ambient conditions.
- Do not work with the HAZET socket strip in a potentially explosive environment.
- Make sure that devices to be plugged in are switched to OFF beforehand.
- Do not use the HAZET socket strip if you are under the influence of medication, alcohol or drugs.
- Do not cover the HAZET socket strip. There is a risk of fire due to heat accumulation.
- The HAZET socket strip is not a toy. Keep out of reach of children.
- Follow the instructions on the type plate. Do not remove the type plate.
- When working near a HAZET socket strip, ensure that no substances or foreign particles end up near the socket strip due to operating tools such as drilling machines, grinding equipment or saws. There is a risk here that the socket strip will short circuit or become damaged.
- Do not put them one behind the other! Do not operate covered!

4.Operation
Operating the HAZET socket strip
- Insert the mains plug of the HAZET socket strip into a properly fused power outlet.
- Connect the desired consumers. Make sure that they are set to OFF to prevent them from starting up by themselves.
- Pay attention to the nominal power / output of the consumers so that the maximum load is not exceeded.
- When unplugging from the socket, always pull the plug, never the cable.
• Always make sure that the HAZET socket strip is correctly installed and firmly seated.
- When working near a socket strip, ensure that no substances or foreign particles end up near the socket strip due to operating tools such as drilling machines, grinding equipment or saws. There is a risk here that the socket strip will short circuit or become damaged.
5. Malfunctions
- Should malfunctions occur, please check your device as follows:
- Check the cable for damage
- Check that the mains plug is plugged in
- Repair work must be carried out exclusively by authorised persons.

GENERAL MAINTENANCE
Avoid the use of solvents when cleaning plastic parts. Most plastics are susceptible to damage from various types of commercial solvents and can be damaged by their use. Use clean cleaning cloths to remove dirt, dust, oil, grease, etc.
MAINTENANCE AND CARE

Warning! Before you start cleaning, switch off the power supply of the HAZET socket strip!
- Clean the device with a damp, lint-free cloth. Make sure that no liquids penetrate the housing or come into contact with electrical components. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents such as solvents, alcoholic cleaners, cleaning sprays etc.
- Dry the device before starting the operation.
- Only use identical spare parts when servicing. The use of other parts can pose a danger or lead to product damage. To ensure safety and reliability, all repairs should be carried out by a qualified service technician.
CARE
- The mini bit screwdriver should be regularly treated with a commercial solvent-free cleaning agent without grinding additives.
- We do not recommend using dry compressed air to clean the tool. If cleaning with compressed air is the only available method, always wear safety glasses or safety goggles with side protection. If the operation is dusty, wear a dust mask.
STORAGE
- Store in a dry place. Protected from frost and heat.
