How do I select a cooking mode on the DPM106 induction cooker?
After plugging in and placing a compatible pot, press the ON/OFF button to turn on the device. The display shows 'ON'. Then press the FUNCTION button to cycle through modes: Fry, Boil, Heat Up, and Stew. Use the + and - buttons to adjust temperature or power level.
What type of cookware is compatible with the induction cooker?
Only cookware made of iron or stainless steel with a flat bottom is suitable. The diameter must be between 12 cm and 25 cm, and the total weight (including contents) must not exceed 5 kg. Avoid non-ferrous metals, ceramics, glass, aluminum, and copper.
What does error code E0 mean?
Error E0 indicates that the cookware is not compatible or is not positioned correctly. Ensure the pot is made of magnetic material, has a flat bottom between 12-25 cm, and is centered on the cooking zone. If the problem persists after 60 seconds, the device returns to standby mode.
How do I set the timer on the DPM106?
In Fry or Boil mode, press TIMER/PRESET to set a countdown timer (display shows '0:10'). Use + to add 10 minutes, - to subtract 1 minute, up to 3 hours. In Heat Up or Stew mode, press TIMER/PRESET to set a delayed start (display shows '0:30'), with increments of 30 minutes, up to 24 hours.
Can I use aluminum or glass cookware on this induction hob?
No. Aluminum, glass, ceramic, copper, and non-ferrous metals are not magnetic and will not work. The hob will display error E0 and beep until the incompatible pot is removed.
How should I clean the induction cooker?
Always unplug the device and allow it to cool completely. Use a damp soft cloth or sponge to wipe the surface. For stubborn residues, use a mild cleaner suitable for induction hobs. Never immerse the device in water or use abrasive cleaners.
What is the maximum power consumption of the DPM106?
The rated power is 2000W at 220-240V, 50/60Hz. The actual power depends on the selected cooking mode and power level.
Is it safe to leave the induction cooker unattended while cooking?
No. The manual states: Do not leave the appliance unattended while it is in operation. Always supervise cooking, especially when using high temperatures or oils.
What should I do if the induction cooker does not turn on?
First, ensure the plug is securely connected to a working power outlet. Check for a power outage. Then press the ON/OFF button. If it still does not turn on, the device may be damaged; contact an authorized service center.
What does error code E2 mean and how to fix it?
Error E2 indicates the IGBT sensor is overheating. This can happen if the hob is used for prolonged periods or if ventilation is blocked. Turn off the device and let it cool down completely before restarting. Ensure at least 10 cm clearance around the unit.
