IMPORTANT!

Before leaving the factory, all our products are subjected to rigorous testing. Your VAPORELLA AL P already contains some water, so we recommend that you do not add any further water until all the steam in used up.

OPERATION

1) Insert the cable stand (7) in its location. Place the cable (iron power supply - steam tube) in its support (Fig. 1).

2) Unscrew the patented safety cap (5) and fill the boiler with about 1.5 litres of ordinary tap water using the special funnel, making sure that it does not overflow (Fig. 2). Retighten the cap fully and carefully. Plug the iron into a suitable power socket.

3) Switch on the boiler and iron by pressing the switches (9) and (11); the Steam Pressure warning light (3). (Fig. 3) will then come on.

4) Set the iron temperature to the " position by turning the knob (10) (fig. 4). All types of fabric can be steam ironed at this temperature. When dry ironing, set the knob (10) to the temperature required for the fabric, which is shown on the iron (fig. 5).

5) Wait for the Steam Pressure warning light (3) to go out, then press the button (1) on the iron to control the emergence of steam from the sole plate (Fig. 6).

Continue ironing as normal even if the warning lamp comes on and goes out, this indicates the iron is working correctly.

IMPORTANT

• When the iron is no longer delivering steam, switch off the boiler switch (11), open the patented safety cap (5), wait 2-3 minutes for the boiler to cool down, and then refill it.
• During initial operation of the iron, a few drops of water mixed with steam may come out of the soleplate since the temperature has not yet perfectly stabilized. It is advisable not to direct the first jet onto the fabric to be ironed.
• Make sure that the patented safety cap (5) is screwed down correctly, otherwise steam leaks could occur.

WARNING

• Never leave the device unattended when it is plugged in.
• Always unplug before filling.
• The device is fitted with a safety temperature limiter, which should only be replaced by an authorized engineer.
• When repairing or replacing any component, and in particular the special safety cap, only use original parts.
• If the patented safety cap cannot be opened for cold filling of the device, plug in the power cable plug (4), switch on the iron switch (9) and press the button (1) to eliminate any residual pressure in the boiler.
• If the power cable (4) needs to be replaced, ensure that the earth wire is longer than the other wires.

HOW TO ACHIEVE PERFECT IRONING

To achieve perfect ironing using conventional irons, you have to iron the fabric several times with the hot iron to dry all residual moisture. The Stiro Professional Vaporella has a heated board with a suction feature.

Perfect ironing is dependent on these two characteristics: the suction which locks the garment on the board, so preventing the formation of annoying wrinkles which are so difficult to eliminate on conventional ironing boards, and the heated board which dries the fabrics and makes ironing easier, faster and less laborious.
