Frequently Asked Questions - Palladium Argoclima

How do I assemble the fan?
Attach the rear guard to the motor unit with the screw provided. Slide the blade onto the spindle, align the indent, and tighten the locking screw. Align the front guard to the rear guard, lock with tabs, and secure with the security nut and bolt. Attach the base to the stand with screws, then mount the motor unit on the stand and tighten the thumbscrew.
How should I clean the fan?
Unplug the fan first. Use a soft cloth to dust the exterior. For heavy dirt, use a cloth moistened with water and mild detergent (below 50°C). Let dry completely before use. Use a vacuum to clean the grilles. Do not submerge in water or use corrosive solvents.
What should I do if the fan stops working unexpectedly?
The fan has a thermal protector that shuts off if overheated. Allow the fan to cool, then check for obstructions. If the protector fuses, replace it or contact qualified service. Also check the power cord and plug. If problems persist, take the fan to an after-sales service center.
Can I use the fan outdoors?
No, the fan is designed for indoor use only. Do not operate outdoors or in wet environments to avoid electric shock or damage.
How do I adjust the fan speed?
The power/switch on top of the fan controls speed: position 0 is off, 1 is low, 2 is medium, 3 is high. Simply turn the knob to the desired setting.
How do I enable the oscillation feature?
To make the fan head oscillate, push down the oscillation knob located on the motor unit. To stop oscillation, pull the knob up.
Is it safe to leave the fan running unattended?
The manual advises to turn off the appliance if unattended to avoid accidents. The thermal protector provides some safety, but it is recommended to unplug when not in use.
What does the thermal protector do?
The thermal protector automatically cuts off power if the motor overheats, preventing fire or damage. Once it fuses, you must replace it or have the fan serviced before reuse.
Can I replace the power cord myself?
No, if the cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, dealer, or a qualified person to avoid safety hazards.
How should I store the fan when not in use for a long time?
Disconnect the power, clean it, and store in the original packaging or a cool, dry place. Keep the manual with the fan for future reference.
