How do I turn on the Blaupunkt FHM501 heater?

Plug the heater into a power outlet, then turn the thermostat dial clockwise to your desired temperature. The heater will start automatically.

What are the heating power settings?

The heater has two power modes: Low (1000W) and High (2000W). Use the switch on the side to select between them.

How do I clean the FHM501?

Unplug the heater and let it cool. Wipe the exterior with a dry cloth. Do not use water or abrasive cleaners. Clean the air intake grille with a soft brush.

Is the heater safe to leave unattended?

The heater has overheat protection and a tip-over switch that automatically shuts it off if knocked over. However, we recommend not leaving it unattended for long periods.

Why is the heater not blowing hot air?

Check if the thermostat is set high enough (above room temperature). Also ensure the power switch is on and the safety features have not been triggered. If it still doesn't work, contact support.

Can I use the heater in a bathroom?

No, the FHM501 is not splash-proof. Use it only in dry indoor areas away from water sources.

What should I do if the heater shuts off unexpectedly?

This may be due to overheating or tip-over. Unplug the heater, let it cool for 10 minutes, and ensure it's on a stable surface. Then plug it back in and try again.

How long is the power cord?

The power cord is approximately 1.5 meters long. Do not use an extension cord if possible.

Does the heater have a fan-only mode?

No, the FHM501 only provides heat. There is no separate fan-only setting.

Where can I find spare parts?

Contact Blaupunkt customer service or authorized dealers for spare parts. Do not attempt to repair the heater yourself.

- It is necessary to check, if total current consumption of all devices plugged into the wall outlet does not exceed the fuse in the circuit.

- If you are using an extension cord, make sure that the total power consumption of the equipment plugged into the extension cord does not exceed the extension cord power rating. Extension cords should be arranged in such a way as to avoid tripping hazards. Do not let cord hang over edge of counter, or touch any hot surface.

- The device is not designed to be controlled via an external timer, separate remote control, or other equipment that can turn the device on automatically.

- Before maintenance work always disconnect the unit from the power supply.

- When unplugging the power cord from electrical outlet, hold it by the plug only and remove the plug carefully. Never pull the cable as it may cause damage to the plug or power cord.

- Damage to the power cord or plug can lead to an electrocution hazard.

- Never leave the product connected to the power source without supervision.

SAFETY FEATURES

In case of overheating, thermostat will turn off the device. Unplug the heater and wait until it cools down. Find the cause of overheating. Heater can be plugged in and switched back on after cooling down.

Turn on device by switching the on/off knob to required mode and turning the thermostat regulation knob.

Thermostat allows adjusting the temperature of heating. Fan heater will maintain the chosen temperature.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Before cleaning the heater make sure that it has been switched off, unplugged from the power socket. Make sure the device has cooled down sufficiently.

Air inlets and outlets should be free of dust. Clean with dump cloth and wipe dry.
