How do I power the Eta Fiora aroma lamp?

You can power it via the included USB cable connected to a suitable USB charger (5 V, at least 200 mA) or by inserting 3 AA batteries into the battery compartment on the bottom.

How do I turn the device on and off?

Press the control button A1 once to turn on the appliance and the color light. Press it twice to turn both off.

What type of essential oils should I use?

Only use 100% natural pure essential oils. Avoid synthetic or diluted oils to prevent damage to the device. Follow the dosage instructions on the oil packaging.

How much oil should I put on the pad?

Apply about 15–20 drops of essential oil onto the cotton pad B placed inside the fragrant solution tank.

Can I use the device while it is charging?

Yes, the device can operate while connected to USB power. When both USB and batteries are present, the USB supply takes priority and the batteries are disconnected automatically.

How do I clean the aroma lamp?

Replace the pad B when it becomes worn, damaged, or after several uses to prevent oil buildup. Use a new pad of similar material.

Dear customer, thank you for buying our product. Before putting the appliance into operation, read carefully these instructions for use and store this manual properly together with the certificate of warranty, a cash voucher and possibly with the package and the internal contents of the package.

I. SAFETY WARNING

• Consider the instructions for use as a part of the appliance and pass them on to any other user of the appliance.
• The mains adapter supplied with the appliance is only designated for this appliance. Do not use it for other purposes. Only use the attached mains adapter for this appliance. Do not use any other adapter for charging (for example an adapter from a different appliance).
• This appliance may only be used by children aged 8 years or older, and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision. Children under 8 years of age must keep away from the appliance and its USB power cable.
• The appliance has no charging source of its own, it is only designed for charging via USB (an adapter with USB output with output voltage of 5.0 V, and output current of at least 200 mA). Before making any connection, please pay attention to instructions of the manufacturer of the respective power source.
• Never use the appliance if the USB power cable is damaged, if it does not work properly, if it fell to the ground and got damaged. In this case take the appliance to a special service to check its safety and proper function.
• When re-filling or cleaning the appliance, disconnect it from power supply.
• The appliance and the connected adapter must not be used at places where it could fall into bath tub, wash basin or swimming pool. If the appliance fell into water anyway, do not take it out! First of all, unplug the adapter from the socket and only then take the appliance out.
• Before replacement of accessories or accessible parts, before assembly and disassembly, before cleaning or maintenance, switch off the appliance and unplug it from the mains!
• To power the appliance, only use the Micro-USB cable included.

- To power the appliance, only apply safe small voltage (5 V).

- The appliance is intended for home use and similar (in shops, offices and similar workplaces, in hotels, motels and other residential environments, in facilities providing accommodation with breakfast). It is not intended for commercial use!

- Never use the appliance and do not touch the adapter when you have wet hands or feet!

- Never immerse the appliance into water (even its parts)!

- Never plug the Micro-USB cable / adapter in the electrical socket or unplug it with wet hands.

- When cleaning or putting it away, switch off the appliance and always pull out the plug from the socket (pull on the plug, not the cable) if the appliance is not being used and remove the attached accessories.

- Do not attempt to refill diffuser without first unplugging the unit from it's electrical outlet.

- Never throw or place any objects into the openings. Do not place your hands, face or body on or near the fragrant air outlet. Do not cover the fragrant air outlet and do not place anything on the ragrant solution outlet when the appliance is running.

- Whilst in operation, never tilt the appliance or try to empty it.

- In the event of any unusual sounds or odour during operation, switch off the appliance and unplug it from the mains.

- Whilst the appliance is in operation, do not touch fragrant solution or any components in fragrant solution with any part of your body.

- Do not use the appliance in places with high humidity, e.g. in a bathroom.

- Never place the adapter supply cord onto hot surfaces and do not leave it hanging over the edge of a table or worktop. If someone, e.g. a child, brushes against the cable or tugs at it, the appliance might overturn or fall down and it might result in a serious injury!

- The Micro-USB cable must not be damaged with sharp or hot objects, open fire, it must not be sunk into water or bent over sharp edges.

- If you do not intend to use the lamp for a long time, remove batteries from them.

- Do not use worn and new batteries together.

- If the battery is leaking, remove it immediately; it can damage the lamp.

- Dispose of a discharged battery in a suitable way (see par. V. ENVIRONMENTAL).

- Keep batteries and lamp out of reach of children and incapacitated people. A person, who would swallow the batteries, must seek medical help immediately.

- Excessive humidity in the room may contribute to the growth of organisms in the environment and cause condensation of water on windows, furniture, walls and generally on cool objects. If it happens, turn of the device.

- Before storing empty and clean the aroma lamp. Before the next use clean the aroma lamp.

- If you need to use an extension cord, it has to be uncorrupted and it has to comply with the valid standards.

- In order to ensure safety and proper function of the appliance, use only original spare parts and accessories approved by the manufacturer.

- Use this appliance only for the purpose for which it was designed as specified in this user's manual. Never use the appliance for any other purpose.

- The producer does not undertake any responsibility for damage caused by improper use of the appliance (e.g. injury, fire, etc.) and its guarantee does not cover the appliance in the case of failure to comply with the safety warning above.

INFORMATION AS REGARDS THE USE OF ESSENTIAL AND FRAGRANCE OILS

• Follow the recommendations below for the correct use of essential oils, so that incorrect functioning/damage to the device or damage to health of the users is prevented.

• Use 100% natural pure essential oils. For dosage of essential oils follow the instructions of the manufacturer on the packaging!

• Make sure the oil does not get into your eyes. If it does, rinse your eyes immediately with clean drinkable water. If the irritation lasts, seek medical attention!

• Do not use undiluted oil directly on your skin, do not consume it. Do not allow the oil to get in touch with your skin. Keep the oil out of reach of children and persons that do not have full legal capacity. If you swallow the oil, you must seek medical attention immediately!
• If you are feeling unwell when using the device, turn it off immediately.
• Pregnant women, the elderly, young children or persons with chronic disorders may be more sensitive to scents. If they do not feel well, stop using the device immediately and consult using essential oils with your physician.
• Make sure the oil does not spill outside the cotton pads.
• Clean the box (pad compartment) properly and regularly, so that any remains are removed every time you change the oil.
• Store the oil in dark cool place with the lid tightly closed, out of reach of children, persons that do not have full legal capacity and pets. Observe the expiry date.

II. DESCRIPTION OF THE APPLIANCE (Fig. 1)

III. PREPARATION FOR USE

Remove all packaging materials and take out the appliance. Remove any cling film, stickers and paper from the appliance. Use the appliance with the connected power USB cable other USB charger or mobile power or 3 pcs of AA batteries.

WARNING

• To power the appliance, only use a source of safe low voltage of 5 V DC which complies with applicable standards (mobile phone chargers with a USB connector with double insulation are suitable) and is able to provide current of at least 200 mA or more.
• Do not use USB ports on other devices (e.g. computers, laptops, tablets, mobile phones, etc.) to power the appliance. Such devices may not be dimensioned for the current consumption of the appliance and it could damage them.
• The device chooses USB-cable connection which will supply electric power automatically and the power form batteries will be disconnected.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE (Fig. 2-8)

1. Place the appliance on a suitable flat surface.
2. Follow the instruction in Picture 1 and remove the external cover A5 and then also the internal cover A3.

3. Put clean dry pad B in compartment A2 and trickle about 15 – 20 drops of the natural essential oil on the pad. In the reverse way fasten the covers A3 and A5 back tightly.

4. Select the power supply:

a) using the feeding USB cable connect the device with suitable power supply.
b) Or remove cover A8 and put i the compartment 3 batteries and then close the cover again.

1. Using the button A1 you will start the device.

2. After you have finished using the device turn it off using the button A1 and disconnect from power supply.

Replacing batteries

Open the battery compartment cover A8 on the bottom part of the lampe and insert 3 x AA batteries; pay attention to correct polarity and close the cover. The other way round replace the battery cover until it engages, an audible click will be heard.

IV. MAINTENANCE (Fig. 9)

Clean the appliance and USB cable, tank A2 and cover A3 with a wet cloth. You may also use disinfectants but always follow the instructions provided on the packaging. Never use aggressive detergents (e.g. petrol, glass cleaner, furniture polish, thinner) or other solvents to clean the appliance! After maintenance, let the individual parts dry properly. Never use sources of heat to dry the plastic parts (such as oven, electric or gas stove).

Pads: If pads B is worn out or damaged, replace it with a new one (of a similar type and material composition.

More extensive maintenance or maintenance requiring intervention in the inner parts of the appliance must be carried out by professional service! Failure to comply with the instructions of the manufacturer will lead to expiration of the right to guarantee repair!

V. ENVIRONMENT

If the dimensions allow, there are marks of materials used for production of packing, components and accessories as well as their recycling on all parts. The symbols specified on the product or in the accompanying documentation mean that the used electrical or electronic products must not be disposed of together with municipal waste. For proper disposal, hand them over at the special collection places where they will be accepted free of charge. Suitable disposal of the product can help to maintain valuable natural resources and to prevent possible negative impacts on the environment and human health, which could be the possible consequences of improper waste disposal. Ask for more details at the local authority or at a collection site. Fines can be imposed for improper disposal of this type of waste in agreement with the national regulations. If the appliance is to be put out of operation, after disconnecting it from power supply we recommend its cutoff and in this way it will not be possible to use the appliance again. Remove a discharged battery and dispose of it in a suitable and safe way through the special collection networks. Never dispose of the battery by burning!
